They need to put Gilmore on that left side to help Hurst out and leave him there.
Offense needs to help the defense out. Defense have gotten the ball in the offenses hands way too much to only have 3 points

Do you think it's ok to joke about bringing cam Cameron back?
I'd say Timmy is the most improved. If Timmy, Mosely, and Suggs keep up with how well they are doing then we gotta have the dpoy.
2 hours ago, AnthonyGames said:If I do have some knocks, it just seems as he makes some fundamental mistakes, like in Crowell's big run in the Cleveland game. Instead of gap discipline waiting to tackle the RB, he was locked with a Dlineman, while Crowell ran right by without Orr looking. I think he will clean all this stuff up! Understand coverages a little bit better. Its his first real shot at being a staring ILB in the NFL, although he started getting more playing time at the end of last year.
However, with that being said I absolutely love what I have seen from him so far. Him and Mosely are looking extremely fast and aggressive. Orr is a sideline-to-sideline ILB, and he seems to swarm to the ball very fast. He gets to the screen plays first. I like what I am seeing thus far. Hue Jackson even commented on how fast he plays.
This is what I was trying to get at, but you clearly said it better.
1 minute ago, PurpleCity5 said:People are over-blowing his performance this game. Robinson finished with 56 yards on the day. I'm very satisfied with that. I don't have a problem with Wright seeing Robinson on some coverage, I just have a problem with him on a one-on-one situation with Robinson in the goal. You always put your best CB against their best WRs in those situations. Robinson is a beast and no joke. Why are people here acting like he's just another WR? lol. 56 yards? I'll take it. At least it wasn't 100+ because if that was the case we would have lost the game.
yeah. Mosely busted zone coverage a few times which would have been helpful.
2 minutes ago, trevorsteadman said:This needs to go guys... Wright was only burned because he was put against Allen Robinson by himself several times in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. In the 4th the Ravens were smart and let Jimmy Smith cover Robinson and that is why you never heard from Robinson again really the entire game. The announcers even pointed it out.
Wright is a solid #2 cornerback but the coaching staff set him up to fail multiple times. He should never be on the #1 receiver. He is pretty lock down on the #2 guy for the most part the last two seasons though.
I agree. Wright has been solid. Jimmy should take the top receiver especially when the top receiver is as good as Robinson.

You know, two years ago I was very defensive of Pees. Last year I lost my faith. This year I'm back on board. What's in common? He's on the sideline. I think that guys like weddle and Suggs coming over and telling him what they are seeing and him making the adjustments is really make a difference.
I didn't really notice. Probably because the defense wasn't on the field very much in the fourth. Young has looked good though.
4 minutes ago, 757RavensFan said:Interesting observation considering he's leading the team in tackles. Tells me he's doing a lot more than just runnning into blockers.
Did you read what I said? I definitely stated he is doing a lot more than just running into blockers. He's doing a great job. It's just an observation I have made.
2 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:I haven't noticed this but I have to ask do they look blatantly pointless? Because often times the lesser of the 2 ilbs in a 34 can be assigned to do exactly that while the other one cleans up and goes untouched.
Not saying this is what's happening, just thought I'd throw it out there that it's possibly schemed
Some are obviously to take on the blocker to free up weddle or Webb, but some seem absolutely blatantly pointless. The Crowell big run is a great example.
So before I say what I am going to say I need to make it clear I like most of what I see from Orr. I really do think Orr is our best linebacker in coverage and I also think he's better than Bynes and McClain were. My one issue with Orr which I have noticed at least once in every game is he runs right into blockers. Like right into blockers. They aren't engaging him. He straight up runs into them like its a gravitational pull.
Now like I said I really like him. This is just an observation I have made and hopefully he can fix it, because if he does our run defense will be that more disgusting.
1 hour ago, xxhighriser said:Probably gonna be a choice between him and Brandon Williams. Hopefully Pierce can fill that B Will void so we can keep Timmy.
This is what I'm thinking. Timmy to me needs to be priority. If he keeps this pace with sacks, TFL's, and swatted passes he could be in the running for DPOY.
I don't mean to be negative, but I can't boast too loudly about our receivers when the steelers are sitting there with a rediculous corps. Yes, better than we have had in past years, but we are far from the best group.
21 minutes ago, redrum52 said:Good point and I agree. What are we paying these guys for? Should dump Doom too.
Hey let's fire Ozzie and Harbs while we are at it!
19 minutes ago, redrum52 said:You're only saying that cause he's in your avi... Jimmy was awful. I checked the box score. No picks, no sacks and no forced fumbles...
Neither did Suggs. Let's bench him.
Can we lock this thread now.
He's not the worst, but he's certainly not the best.
45 minutes ago, Davesta said:This is what I don't like about the Ravens. We usually draft them, but give the start to veterans. By the time we use them, it's the last year of their rookie contract. But in this case, pitta balled out so can't complain.
I don't know. We have a 5th round rookie in Judon, a Fourth round rookie in Lewis, and an undrafted rookie in Pierce and they are all seeing a lot of playing time.
I mean there are guys I want to see more of too, but I don't think they are as partial to vets as you may think it appears.
Onto the topic of discussion. The way I feel about Pees reminds me of every relationship I've been in with a girl. First I'm all about it then I start to notice her flaws and want to find something new or get back with an ex. Then she does something and I'm in love all over again and so on and so forth. So far this season I am in love. Yes, at the beginning of the game it was wreck, but then we shut them out for the next 45 minutes
.
I was calling for him to retire. I didn't think he should or could came back. I will say every time he is tackled I cringe and hope he gets back up. He is above and beyond our best tight end. Welcome back bud. You killed it today.
I love B-will, but Pierce really takes a lot of pressure off of the front office in resigning him. Pierce has that thing B-will is missing in the pass rushing department.
2 hours ago, The Raven said:Dude, not even close. Aside from ONE play, which was the fault of our inside backers, our run D was stellar.
How many sacks and hits did ZDS and Judon get? They aren't getting regular pressure by any means. Jernigan had more pressures and hits than both of them.
Dude they were getting outside way too much. Inside yes we stomped them except for the one play where Orr seemed to run right into the guard. I don't even think the guard moved. He gets a pass as that's really the only thing from him I haven't liked.
Dude go back and look. Judon and ZDS are seriously a step or two away from a sack on a lot of plays. I think Judon is closer than ZDS, but I'm telling you they are getting back there.
Honestly Jernigan has been around longer so I hope he's doing better than them. its week 2. I'm confident both finish the year with 6+ sacks. Hold me to it.
