A step closer to Pees going? Or... another "we need to play better" interview. 

I mean if we keep Pee's we will definitely have the number 1 pick so I guess it depends on what ya want.

We're not far away from fielding a good team. Our oline is not bad. It's rock solid. Not elite. Which to be fair, is what it was during the super bowl. We lack three things

1. A consistent pass rush 

2. Another good WR(Aiken cannot cut it a number 2. Perriman while I have faith is a major unknown. And if you call him a bust for being injured it's honestly dumb. And Givens is nothing more than a number three(one I'd like to keep but still), and Marlon just flat out sucks)

3. Tbh. We need another outside corner stat. I like Arrington in the slot when he's there. Awful on the outside. 

 

We don't need too much. And it can be solved in an offseason. If you want a full rebuild and overhaul prepare to be dissapointed. 

I agree. I think we have a lot of talent on this team. Honestly we are a Corner and safety away from this season being a 6-0 season at this point vice a 1-5 one.

I can only imagine what is going to happen when we play the steelers with big ben back.

Carson Palmer is going to have the most yards in one game in NFL history. Then Philip Rivers will inevitably break it only a week later.

I say fire him after the season. Our season is already doomed and keeping him will secure us the #1 overall pick which Ozzie will trade away for a 3rd string corner who started a few games and a 6th round pick

That penalty killed us, premature blowing if timeouts, Prevent Soft Zone D, Dumb decisions by Flacvo to throw the ball, continues to be the norm for the demise of the 15-16 Ravens, a once proud organization

You should've known when their fullback had 89 yards in the first half how this game was going to end. Joe did make dumb plays, but at least he is trying to make plays and win. Our defense is just so pathetically unmotivated

In Joe's defense all the "boneheaded" plays he makes in the game probably work in practice. It is the ravens secondary after all.

It's unrealistic to keep everyone...but Boldin definitely shouldn't have been traded.

Unless we hadn't of given Joe that giant contract and went with Tyrod. He could be throwing to Boldin, Torrey, and SSS.

Yeah because he had a lifetime back there to do that lmao Please. Pressure was there right away. Again, no reason at all for that play. Get the 4. We know Trestman can call those 4 yd plays - he does it no issue when we need 15 yds.

And that is exactly why people call out Trestman. No let's not just go for the 4 yds, we MuST try for the end zone.

Because Trestman threw the ball and didn't go through all of his reads...

Eh, our offense is actually outscoring last year's through 5 games so far this season (123 this season, 116 last).  Our defense is horrendous, thats our glaring issue.  Our offense is not great, but I think its the issue of going down early and often that exposes even more flaws in our offensive capabilities.

 

Plus we lost good playmakers from last year.

This. I'm not on board the Fire Trestman wagon yet. I think he has done well considering he's calling someone elses offense. The more comfortable he gets with it the better our offense gets. We just don't have any playmakers and I think Joe may be trying a little to hard to make things happen. Defense is the fault of this team.

I'm  not saying he's doing an outstanding job. I just think for a guy coming in calling plays in a system that he has never ran and is opposite from his norm he isn't doing so bad. I'd much rather have Trestman than Cam Cameron. I think giving up on him so quick might not be the right choice.

You clearly have never been here. Some of these guys live for the moments Flacco screws up to complain. But will dissapear when Flacco has a good game.. I'm not emotional about it because I know Flacco has been inconsistent his whole career...

The offense was much better under Kubiak.

It is also Kubiaks system. I don't think Trestman is doing bad his first year with an offense he has never ran. I think we should at least give him another year.

Love the optimism, but they haven't shown me anything this year to give me very much hope of that happening
