  1. Stanley looks good. honestly I like him against guys like Von Miller and Mack. He's quick and athletic. What I worry about is guys like McPhee and Watt. Powerful guy are what I see being Stanley's problem.
  2. Really hope it scared him more than hurt him
  3. they line up where they have been coached to line up for that particular defensive scheme. Which falls to the DC. If that is not true and its just something that didn't get corrected than that still reflects on the DC.
  4. Just watched the first few defensive drives. Shareece Wright is not looking like an NFL starter. I really hope he picks it up. Wright and Powers looked very suspect not to mention that we are still lining up 10 yards away from the receiver shows Pees learned nothing from last year. Our guys just aren't showing the instincts to play that far off.
  5. He actually had a really good game yesterday if you really watched him. He got held a lot. Mentioning holding Zadarius smith got held a lot too. In general there was a lot of holding in that game on both sides. I will say the only time I saw good things from him was on the outside so I would say Orr has that inside spot.
  6. Well yeah I wouldn't go as far as saying he's going to be as good as Antonio brown. I will say I think he is showing he might be better than any receiver we have drafted. His routes are on point and gets good separation and has the smarts. His hands to me are all that need to be completely validated to me. I honestly completely dismissed picking him in the draft, but he's got me excited.
  7. Forreal. He was awesome. His routes were great and had the discipline to get out of bounds rather than go for the yards. I really think he could be a big deal.
  8. Can't see him returning, but I agree he looks like something special. Very good routes.
  9. I came here to say I really like Chris Moore
  10. Crocket just hurt his spot on the depth chart
  11. Brooks. B.c he can lay wood.
  12. I dunno about always. I think it depends more on the safety. Polamalu played a lot of dime.
  13. I agree he is pretty much a lock. Still though he's not ever going to be anymore than he is now. He's a solid depth guy and good special teams guy who will play wherever you want him, but he's never going to be any better than he is now. If it comes down to him, Elam, and Brooks I would go with Elam and Brooks hoping they meet their potential. Obviously that's not the smart move and it's more of a gamble and exactly why I am not a general manager.
  14. Not disagreeing one bit really. So id first like to say I've never gotten the hype on Levine. I think he's a hard working and a company man who will do whatever the company needs or wants him to do so I really love that about him. As far as play goes I've never seen much in him. At least in Brooks we have seen flashes imo super bright flashes. Brooks just hasn't been consistent. Elam has shown flickers and him being a first round pick you really hope it comes together eventually. Honestly I'd cut Lewis. I don't see him being valued enough by other teams to trade him.
  15. If you don't know so much how do you come up with such conclusions? Not trying to be mean, but really.
  16. I'm two picks off from his picks. I had Hurst instead of Wesley and Elam instead of Levine.
  17. So I actually almost put him on there. If he made it in the place of Lewis, Brooks, or Elam I can't say id be surprised or upset. Honestly to me the safety battle for roster spots is the most underrated battles of camp.
  18. QB- Joe, Mallet -2 RB- Forsett, Buck, West, Dixon -6 FB- Juice -7 TE- Watson, Gilmore, Maxx, Pitta -11 WR- SSS, Wallace, Aiken, Perriman, Moore, Camp -17 OL- Stanley, Urschel, Zuttah, Yanda, Wagner, Jensen, Lewis, Hurst -25 DL- Jernigan, Williams, Guy, Davis, Henry, Urban -31 OLB- Suggs, Dumervil, Smith, Judon, McClellan -36 ILB- Mosely, Correa, Orr-39 CB- Jimmy, Wright, Powers, Young, Davis, Canaday- 45 FS- Webb, Lewis -47 SS- Weddle, Elam, Brooks -50 SP- Koch, Tucker, Cox -53 With McClellan I feel we are safe just carrying the 3 inside guys there.
  19. What time was the deadline? know it was today.
  20. I say see if the Chargers will take a 2nd rounder.
  21. Pending they all make it through preseason with no injuries I'd say Ozzie will definitely be listening to calls.
  22. Yeah man, this group has me on the edge of my seat. It feels like it could be among the best 3 man fronts I've ever seen, but as they say the proof is in the pudding, but the pudding hasn't been put out yet so we shall see As far as the best 3 man fronts I can remember are Trevor pryce kelly Gregg and haloti ngata when pryce first got here. Also Kiesel, Casey Hampton and Aaron smith was another really good one. I think Brandon Williams is a better nose than Hampton or Gregg so it comes down to Jernigan and whoever claims that other spot. I'm hoping its urban and he can stay healthy
  23. I will be looking at Brent Urban, Carl Davis and Willie Henry. I want to see them make some plays because I feel like they can all step up and start if needed, but I'd like to see some early proof of that.
  24. You're a bad fan. smh
  25. I don't think anyone will beat Forsett out of a job except Forsett. That's kind of how it happens with our coaching staff unless it is outright stated that there will be a competition. They haven't named the #1 spot a competition therefor its his job to lose more than it is Dixon or Bucks to earn.
