  1. Where are my Maxx Williams haters?
  2. I wouldn't go there, but I do think he could be way more effective at safety.
  3. I completely agree. I put somewhere some stats of great and som HoF TE's and Maxx and Boyle are both on track to similar years. Thing about Maxx is his age and the fact he isn't even fully developed yet. He's going to improve in every possible area which should be an exciting thing for people.
  4. This is really all that needed to be said. I died laughing
  5. Agreed, as I said above they are #1 on yards per attempt. I hope our team isn't under estimating the jags like a lot of people on here are. I believe we will beat them, but they are a pretty tough team. What scares me the most though is their receivers. Robinson and Hurns are the third best receiving duo in the league right now behind Gronk/Edelman and Thomas/Sanders. Those are the only three teams with two players in the top 20 for receiving. We are really going to need to apply pressure to slow them down. They have allowed a lot of sacks this year so hopefully Doom can have a break out game for sacks.
  6. ??? they are the #7 rush defense in the league for rushing yards per game and #1 in the league average yards per attempt with 3.2. Joe is going to have to be the star in this game.
  7. I think it is too soon to put that label on brooks. Defensive Back is probably the toughest position to adjust to coming to the nfl. The only way to get better is to be out there playing. He needs a lot more snaps to say one way or another. I definitely think the Brown comparison is unfair at this point.
  8. Yeah I'm much more pleased with LT's 4.3 average last year and Bucks 4.4 this year than West's 3.9 last year.
  9. Can he play corner?
  10. In Aiken's defense he was going against our secondary and in Arrington's defense he was going against our wide receivers.
  11. How do you figure? Robinson and Hurns is one of the best wide receiver duos in the league right now.
  12. I wouldn't mind seeing him opposite will hill as our ball hawking free safety. This could really be a big break for us.
  13. It depends on how many scopes. If it is a single scope its not that bad, but when you get three and they clean out some loose cartilage... it isn't as simple as walking it off. I don't know what he had, but if it was a single scope then it should be a complete non-factor.
  14. Honestly we haven't faired any better man-to-man and that is partly due to no safety help deep from lewis.
  15. I don't see anyone trading for him. Might as well wait it out because I don't see the lions wanting to use a big portion of their cap on a vet when this is a team that will need to rebuild.
  16. I don't think we will get him but at least putting a bid in for him is a must.
  17. I don't think we will get him but at least putting a bid in for him is a must.
  18. run the clock out and J-tuck it
  19. Understand that and somewhat agree, but the degree of people blaming stuff on him is getting a bit ridiculous. I definitely don't think we have been running the ball enough this game, but that particular drive was not one to hang Trestman over.
  20. How exactly did we abandon the run? We passed on 2nd and 10. Changing it up to be not as predictable as many of the people complain about. So 2nd and 10 pass was incomplete and you what? want to run on 3rd down? That drive we rushed 3 times and passed 3 times. yeah we abandoned the run...
  21. Agreed. Sand diego has given Rivers a lot to play with
  22. Yeah, well that's what happens when you have a bunch of endzone threaths. we have a second year tight end nd 5'9 receiver
  23. unrelated, but is it bad I am rooting for the steelers today?
