  1. haha time for a new user name
  2. i don't think we have a 6th or 7th round pick
  3. http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/24908/ravens-surprisingly-top-nfl-in-pass-defense-over-last-seven-weeks So I think the big question is whose fault was it for this first part of the season? Obviously the talent is there. We're the players not playing to their potential or was it coaching?
  4. Honestly, I wanted Burfict coming out. When he bombed that .40 yard dash I got so excited knowing his stock would significantly drop. Then the interviews he bombed I thought wow we are going to steal this guy in like the fifth round. I thought surely if there is a group that could straighten him up it would be here. Then the fifth, sixth and seventh rounds passed and there he sat. Fast forward to 2015. Ozzie made the right move. We are a different team then. I think that unit would have been a good fit for him. I don't think he's good for the unit we have now.
  5. I hate the steelers, but the way the refs let the bengals just do whatever they wanted was unjust.
  6. To the people approving Burficts dirty play... I'm ashamed to be associated with you as a ravens fan.
  7. Thank God the bengals lost. Burfict played so dirty he needs to be suspended.
  8. Yes, but even though he isn't a Bengal anymore I don't know if I'd be happy seeing Palmer get one. Fitz does need one though, so I'd be fine seeing them win. AP and Andy Reid deserve to win one too.
  9. I'm pulling for our neighbors the Washington Redskins. A lot of my family and friends are skins fans so I feel like I have to root for them. Besides that though I really like Kirk Cousins, he's a really hyped guy and that is fun to watch and see his team rally behind that. It would be pretty cool to see this guy who sat behind a number 1 pick forever come out and win the big show. Obviously I want Cinci and Pit to lose ASAP as well as Carolina because I don't want SSS to feel that heartbreak. Living in Washington state right now I also would really like to see the seahawks lose and of course the Pats. So if any of the other teams make it besides those I will be happy.
  10. And yet they had the worst pass protection in the league. You may be right, but I think they would be dumb not to address it.
  11. Drafttek has us taking Bosa at 6.
  12. There are no posts. You didn't become a member until after the draft. Unless you had another account.
  13. Though I think Bosa might fall to us, I don't see it the way you have here. For one I am convinced Jax will go OT. They are building that team around Bortles and they had the worst pass defense in the league. Also Dallas in my mind takes a pass rusher or linebacker. I could also see them trading back and grabbing Elliot
  14. Kinda off topic, but the name was dropped here sooo I'll ask... Does Yannick really drop to the round 3-5 range? I see this grade on him on big boards all over. How is this so?
  15. So now that we know we are at #6 this is what I have. Now lets be clear this first round is very very bold and probably not 100% likely. Round 1 Pick 1 Tennessee Titans- Laremy Tunsil OT. They are going to want to lock up some protection for Mariota after the way his season ended. Pick 2 Cleveland Browns- Paxton Lynch QB. I mean this team has to have a record for picking QB's in the first round. Pick 3 San Diego Chargers Jalen Ramsey S. Doesn't look like Weddle will be back so they are going to be looking for his replacement. Pick 4 Dallas Cowboys Myles Jack LB. Sean Lee is always hurt and Rolando Mcclain isn't the most consistent. They need a consistent play maker at the linebacker position. Pick 5 Jacksonville Jagauars Ronnie Stanley OT. Jags need to keep Blake Bortles upright. They got him the weapons now he needs the protection. Pick 6 *New Orleans Saints* Joey Bosa DE. Their defense needs some help. Bosa falling gives us big bargaining power. Compensation 1st 2nd and 6th Pick 7 San Francisco 49ers. Jaylon Smith LB. Bowman seems to be having trouble without a solid wing man. Smith would be a good addition. Pick 8 Miami Dolphins. A'Shawn Robinson DT. Getting another guy to go along with Suh might be the ticket here. Pick 9 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Laquan Treadwell WR. With Vincent Jackson likely on the way out they probably look to get Treadwell to give Winston more weapons. Pick 10 New York Giants Vernon Hargreaves CB. Worst pass defense in the league. No brainer. Pick 11 Chicago Bears Robert Nkemdiche DT. While they have the best pass defense their rush defense is lacking. Nkemdiche could be a part of the puzzle to make this an elite D. Pick 12 Baltimore Ravens Deforest Buckner DE. Although I would like Ogbah here as well, Buckner is BPA in this crazy scenario. Rd2-Tyler Boyd WR- *Kendall Fuller CB-From NO Rd3- Yannick Ngakoue- How he's so low on big boards I have no idea. I've seen as late as the 5th which to me is absurd. *Joe Dahl/Tyler Marz/ Kyle Murphy OT- From NO. Cant decide which one I like. They have all been on the rise. Rd4- Deon Bush S *Rd4- Cassanova Mckinzy ILB- from gino trade
  16. Cowboys passing on him is unlikely, but if I was them I would go linebacker. I've actually seen other mocks since having them grab Jack as well however on those Bosa is probably already gone. Honestly with Jax though I don't see how they don't grab Stanley or Tunsil if they are there which I'm sure one of them will be. They had the worst pass protection in the league. For a team building their team around their passing game they, in my mind, no doubt go OT.
  17. I hope youre right, but Jax had the worst pass protection in the league this year and that's a team that is trying to build around Bortles. They have to address their line.
  18. haha if they did give us 5 years of 1st round picks I think it'd be hard to say no.
  19. Not a bad mock. I'd love it if Stanley makes it to us, but I don't think he makes it passed Jax.
  20. I'm sure we would get more, but I honestly have no clue what. For the sake of the mock I kept it simple.
  21. I am so glad I am not a GM. I am absolutely way to indecisive. I keep thinking of people I would like and start watching them a lot and end up talking myself out of it and moving on. It's a tough decision because you I guess it comes down on how you weight the pros and the cons. Personally I'm advocating for the guy with the least amount of cons. May not prove to have the overall upside, but I really do not want us to miss on this pick.
  22. I am incline to agree. I do not think he is a top ten pick, but for the sake of making sure we get a guy who can come in and play there are only a handful of guys I trust taking in the first. He's not my first pick, but definitely top 5. these are my top 5 guys right now in order. Tunsil, Bosa, Stanley, Buckner, Jack, Treadwell I personally think he is a couple notches down from Cooper.
  23. He just tore his meniscus, hardly a medical concern. What is impressive is the display of toughness to play with it for three games.
  24. JJ was a converted DT. He wasn't an edge rusher, but he learned how to be a 3-4 OLB
  25. Honestly I think Buckner is better. If Bosa is still there at 6 I'm sure we could get even more than I proposed. If you can stock up on picks and get a guy like Buckner I'd say that value clearly outweighs drafting VH3.
