  1. In the safety/rover role do you have him in as a third saftey? If so is that in place of an ILB. If not, do we keep hill on the bench in base packages? Seems like a waste of one of our best players.
  2. So, I was just thinking about this. If we do pick up Ramsey I was thinking of different ways of using him. I think if we use him like Pees tried using Elam that might actually work. Have him line up at corner in pass rushing or running situations and SS in coverage. In turn, sliding Hill down to ILB to get better coverage skills down in the box.
  3. So this isn't about the Ravens and just genuine football talk. Who are you guys rooting to win and lose?
  4. Round 1 1. Titans- Laremy Tunsil LT. Not keeping Mariota upright ended his season, I think it will be addressed. 2. Browns- Jared Goff QB. I want to say the Browns won't go QB, but how they are dealing with Johnny football. I think history repeats itself. 3. Chargers- Ronnie Stanley LT. As Rivers nears his end they need to keep him healthy. 4. Cowboys- Myles Jack LB. Sean Lee and Mcclain cant stay on the field. I see Jacks stock rising after combine. 5. Jaguars- Joey Bosa DE. With Tunsil and Stanley off the board Jax just goes BPA. 6. Ravens- Laquan Treadwell WR. He's grown on me. However I would prefer other players, I can see Ozzie jumping on Treadwell. That way if Perriman isn't what we hoped he makes up for it with a pretty safe pick in Treadwell. Round 2- Kendall Fuller CB. I think he's going to be a solid starter. Round 3- Yannick Ngakoue DE/OLB. He's projected to be there, but to be safe we might want to trade back in. Round 4- Eric Striker LB. He could be an interesting prospect at ILB. He's undersized, but insanely athletic. The Buchanon experiment worked in Arizona. Striker could be a similar type guy and could possibly be the heir. Round 4(trade)- Cyrus Jones CB. Round 4(Comp)- Evan Boehm C. Round 5(Comp)- Adam Gostis DE/DT
  5. So I see the two picks that people don't like. First one is Tread. I don't like it either really. At this moment though I can see why Ozzie would be excited to grab him. Many others I would like more, but this I mocked for how I might see through ozzies eyes. Hopefully in this scenario like many of you think, I am wrong. The second is Striker. I don't make the Buchanon pick so much because of style of play but size. I think Striker has potential to be a very good ILB. It would be a project, but a round four project player at ILB in my mind isn't so bad since we come away with a few. What draws me to striker is his athleticism and pass rushing. I honestly didn't think too much of him until recently so I understand the negativity in his regards.
  6. i think we find a way to resign KO, but if not I think Center is a bigger need than guard. I'd much rather have Urschel at guard. honestly I forgot about the Torrey comp.
  7. Yeah I don't disagree. I'd like a few other players over Tread personally, but I've just got a feeling.
  8. I think itd be cool to do something similar to what the NHL is doing this year. Have division all star teams and do like a 7 on 7 tournament.
  9. I'd feel much better about taking sterling Shepard in the third if he's there. I think his stock is going to rise going forward.
  10. I like the Murphy pick as well. Doesn't make us feel like we have to resign Wagner or desperately try to replace him in FA or in the draft that year. I think tackle is definitely a likely pick in the fourth. Even with me being skeptical that Stanley will be there this is probably one of my favorite mocks
  11. +1000 I really hope both Camp and Taliaferro can get over the injury bug. They both could be huge for our offense if they could just stay on the field.
  12. Agreed. I think if LT can stay healthy he could be a number 1 guy. The thing with him though is can he handle a load like that. The games where he got a lot of snaps and was able to get into rhythm he looked great, but he just hasn't seemed to have the durability so if he cant stay healthy through training camp and preseason I can see west making it over him.
  13. I think that is a very poor assessment. Buck's problem is getting lost in holes. It's when he's able to get through them and is able to use that lack of power and speed that he becomes dangerous. I saw Buck truck quite a few people this year and saw him run away from a lot too. His problem this year was reading his blocks and committing to hit the holes. I don't think Buck is an every down back tbh so I agree with you there, but I think he can be very valuable in the passing game where he is given space to use those abilities that he has. If he can improve his between the tackles play then he may have a better argument for the number one gig.
  14. I would love Stanley, but I am convinced the Jags are going to take him. Blake Bortles was the most sacked QB in the league this year. For a team building around their young quarterback not addressing that just doesn't sound likely.
  15. I think Buckner is equally an Ozzie move and I'd definitely be less upset if we grabbed Buckner.
  16. This is true. I think a lot of us are looking for immediate impact at positions of need which is why this wouldn't come off as the most attractive pick. That being said it seems like an Ozzie move and I would not be surprised if that's who we get.
  17. haha I remember that play. Logan Thomas is a big boy though so a freshman Jack get's a pass in my book. Jack was probably not even a full 220 at that time. I think Jack is definitely a top 10 pick and I wouldn't hate it if we drafted him, but I don't see him being BPA at 6.
  18. Honestly fullers position depends on the combine. If he goes and does as expected he's gone in round 2. If he doesn't go round 3. If he only does some drills, round 3. If he goes and performs poorly he could drop really far.
  19. I see Bosa's 40 time around 4.8, but that doesn't worry me so much
  20. I just think if that's the guy you want you can trade back and get him. I mean you could trade back to 12 and most definitely get him and at the very least get a 3rd out of it.
  21. If he goes before Hagreaves and Ramsey I'll be shocked. If he ends up being better than them, I won't be shocked at all. I'm not saying I don't like Alexander. I'm just saying I think he will be around way after the number 6 pick. If we want him we could trade back and get him, but getting him at 6 doesn't work for me personally.
  22. I do like him, but he really isn't proven enough to go in the top 20. He didn't play against the toughest competition. He could even slide to us in the second.
  23. I like Alexander, but him at 6 is reaching
  24. If that playmaker can return kicks and punts that would be a plus.
  25. I don't think we are in a position to make gambles in this draft. I think there are some safer options in the 3rd or 4th rounds if you looking to go the ILB route. I like Scooby Wright, Deion Jones, and I think Travis Feeney could be a mad man at ILB. He's quick and fast and very solid in coverage.
