  1. Boo hoo they didn't put us on the NFL network but they did the Steelers. Last time I looked, games, playoff seeding and championships weren't decided by the amount of articles we receive.

Some of you guys sound like a small child who didn't receive the toy they wanted Christmas morning.

  2. Although we have had their number recently, I would HIGHLY prefer to win the division in some other scenario than us having to win that game on a Christmas Day in Pittsburgh.

They are just a different animal in Pittsburgh. Especially against the better teams in the league. Beat the Bengals, embarrassed a very good Chiefs team, played New England tough with a backup QB, their game with the Cowboys came down to the wire and just beat a very good Giants team.

They can play with anyone in the league if it's in Pittsburgh.

  3. You can sit here and play the what if game all you want, but the flip side could be argued about all the games we have won. Outside of 2-3 wins, we had some stuff go our way. The what if game could be played to us being 2-10 right now.

Simply put, every team in the NFL can sit there and play that game. It's pointless and this kind of stuff happens to every single team.

Patriots will be missing Gronk next monday when we take them on.... Suddenly this game feels awfully win-able with us getting Jimmy back on D + no gronk

I said in another thread, it's a help that gronk wont be there but they still have a ton of other weapons. Our problem isn't on the defensive side of the ball. It's our terrible O.

Ravens are also 2-3 on the road. Our two wins have come against the Browns (the game where it was 20-0 before they self imploded) and the lowly Jaguars, who also had a solid chance of beating us. We also lost to the Jets on the road and that's just plain ugly.

We are notoriously bad on the road. Although we play the Patriots tough usually, this game will still be a big hurdle to win in my book.

True, but no gronk is massive.

Ravens ain't bad @ Gillette though!

While they are historically good at Gillette in recent years, I have already learned to not put all my eggs in a basket with this offense. We average 1.7 TD's a game. Worst in the league outside of one other team that slips my mind. I'll hold out hope for them but I think Brady will be alright.

  6. With or without Gronk, Patriots game will still be hard to win. Bennett is no slouch and as long as Brady is healthy, they are usually favored in most games. Also, it's at New England and the Ravens are terrible on the road.

It does give us a nice little boost in our chances though.

  7. People are saying Stanley because we haven't won a game when he's been out. Have you guys watched all of our games? Our offense has been horrible the whole year. So him being in there or not didn't really have that big of an affect.

While some will say that his replacements were bad. Does it really matter that they are if the offens, as a whole is still terrible? I could also argue that there are some games that Stanley has played worse than his replacements would.

This isn't a slight at Stanley, because he is a rookie and bumps are to be expected. But the argument that we don't win because he isn't in the lineup is a severely poor one.

JIMMY SMITH IS PRACTICING EVERYONE I REPEAT HE IS ON THE PRACTIVE FIELD

Hensley said he did not look healthy while trying to just do simple running tasks. That isn't a good sign. Back issues can linger. Please do not rush him back and get him injured for Christmas Day against the Steelers. That will be worse case scenario.
