I hope Watt busts lol. Pittsburg usnt great at drafting OLBs anyways. Kinda like us and recievers its funny how that works cause its vice versa with who we draft well
I hope Watt busts but he just looks like a damn good football player on film. One of the most athletically gifted OLB's tested at the combine, a never ending motor and still learning the position and best days are a couple years in front of him? I would have been ecstatic if the Ravens would of somehow got him.
At points you just have to give it up to another FO and nod in agreement in the pick. Not the same situation but exactly like the Browns with Garrett. If they would have taken Trubisky over him, that would have set them back another 5 years.
Williams was never a starter in college and typically just played on passing downs. Not sure I see him stepping up in playing level and starting in the NFL against better competition. He will probably just be a 3rd down pass rusher for a couple years.
Side note: we really love drafting old guys for some reason. Read Bowser and Williams are already 24 years old. I seem to remember that we recently drafted a guy or two that were extremely old, also.
What the heck? is going on? Are we trying to have the worst offense in the league?!

Basically the Ravens have great players for years at 9 of the 11 starting positions on defense, would I like it be 11? Of course but I can't complain about where the defense is right now.
Great players at 9 of the 11 positions? That is an extremely rosey evaluation of our current defensive starters.
I still liked White and Conley a bit more than Humphrey. I had Humphrey on the same level as King and a couple others. Thought he was a late 1st early 2nd type guy.
The disappointment of the pick comes from who else was on the board when we picked. Can't believe we couldn't trade back at all with what was there still.
Even without the tradeback, I would have taken Foster, Allen and Howard over Humphrey. Howard would have been my choice. He's going to be one of the best TE's in the league. Could have given Flacco a great underneath guy and we all know how he loves those.
I just don't understand attacking an area on the team that is a perceived strength when there are so many other holes. I guess we are looking to win games 14-13 this year. I don't think the philosophy will work. Our offense is just in shambles.

The Browns probably jumped the Steelers to take Kizer bc they actually believed the Steelers would take him.
Foster to the Steelers. Would they actually take him?
I know that a trade needs two parties, but how couldn't we get one with that much insane value on the board??! Humphrey would have been there in 5-10 picks!
YIKESSSS WAS THAT HORRIBLE!!
That means there is no way Mike Williams is falling to us.
Wow that was bad. Dumb move for them.
Jamal Adams
Not a lot of people want to hear this, but if we have any shot of having just an average O line, I think the first pick needs to be OL.
There are basically no starting material players past round 1. After round 1, they will be developmental and probably not ready to start.

If it truly is a bogus claim, he should waste no time in suing that female. She has cost him $10's of millions.

Well yeah I agree it is fun watching them fail year after year. I meant more so in terms of fireworks happening during the draft.
O.J. Howard has the higher ceiling to be a better TE than Williams and Davis have of being WR's.
But the Ravens have what seems like 7 average TE's and a massive need at WR.
So a coin flip seems like the proper outcome. Personally, I'd take Howard in a heartbeat. But it's not going to happen.

The level of stupidity in their FO will be unquestioned if they take Trubisky at 1 over MG.
It will really ruin the night becaue if the Browns do that, it basically takes all the fun out of the top half of the draft. He's one or may be the only true trade up target being talked about.

Yep, I am convinced the Cardinals are taking a WR. Where another one goes is a complete mystery to me. I think Davis and Williams will be off the board by the time we are up. Basically the guys that I'd like will be gone. Williams, Davis and Barnett.
We will end up taking Foster, Lamp or Robinson and I'll be upset.
Too many are enamored with these QB's. Honestly, none of these guys should go before our pick. None are good enough. And if a case were to be made, strictly football skill speaking, Watson would be the only one worth arguing.
Browns will be the Browns and continue taking QB's until something sticks. That's a given and will probably be one QB. Other than that, I don't think another QB is taken. Unless trades start flying and teams start getting antsy. I really don't see that much of a downfall between QB's 1-6. All have their faults and upside. I don't think it is worth it to trade a draft away for any of these guys.

They lost Wright and will likely want to replace that in their offense especially since they are run first. If they go receiver I think Davis and Ross would be better fits for them.
A couple more teams in front of us are looking at WR also. It's not just the Titans.
I'm pretty sure the FO is coming to the conclusion that Mike Williams will not be there for our pick.
Safe to say that we need to nail this draft.
Seeing that Peppers is believed to go mid to late second round. Any chance he would make it to our 2nd round pick? Any interest?

I agree with your assessment. He's going to need a couple of years of coaching to make any kind of impact.
He seems like the perfect "ankle injury IR stash" for the next year or two.
