  1. Steelers basically gift wrapping this win for the Ravens. No clue what they are doing on the offensive side and giving us freebies on the defensive side extending our drives.
  2. Flacco is throwing short all day long because Jarvis Jones is eating Stanley alive on the blind side. If he's not getting to Flacco, Stanley is getting shoved 5 yards into the backfield.
  3. Stanley is constantly getting driven back into the backfield.
  4. SSS did return for a limited practice today. They are saying he is 50-50 to suit up.
  5. All reports point to Ben starting Sunday. I guess they weren't trying to be coy with his injury after all.
  6. No SSS again today. Going to say that he is not playing. Big blow.
  7. Still no SSS today. Outside of Stanley, he's probably the most important to get back. We have no other guys that will make that tough catch in the middle of the field. Hopefully he can practice a little tomorrow so that he can play some Sunday.
  8. I believe Camp can't be signed until November 7th. Also, at that date, he is open to signing with whatever team he wants to go to. I also seen that multiple teams wanted to work him out.
  9. I don't understand how you can proclaim that we will win these next few games when we haven't won in over a month. Fluke or not, we should have lost to the Browns. Steelers and Cowboys are better than any team we have played so far. I will take an argument about the Raiders being up there with them.
  10. People are saying the last 5 games are tough. How about the whole rest of the schedule. The Browns should have beat us the first time we played and the Dolphins are on a tear. There probably isn't a single game we are favored to win the rest of the season. May be this week if the bookies believe Ben won't play. Every single game is 50/50 right now. Our best win so far this year was a 13-7 win over the Bills week 1. If that isn't a red flag right there then I don't know what is.
  11. Losing these past 4 weeks to 3 subpar teams has already put our season into dire straights. Now we need to win against very tough competition when the ones we are competing against have easier schedules.
  12. One reason I always like playing the Steelers is because Tomlin seems to outsmart himself. The past several years they should have just come out in a hurry up offense, spread out their O and used all of their weapons. But they always seem to come out and make a statement by going run, run, pass which is the gameplan we are set up to stop. I just think our pass rush is nowhere near where it needs to be and teams that can air it out are the ones we will have problems with. The last time they just aired it out, I don't need to bring up because my TV was watching something else by halftime and Ben set some type of record. Tomlin always seems to make some major mistake in games against us. Whether it's in game plan, or in how he botched our first meeting last year. It's always something.
  13. McPhee is better than any pass rusher we currently have. Obviously the salary is the reason he's not here anymore. Can't do anything about that.
  14. This game is so huge for one reason. The Bengals and Steelers remaining schedule is very favorable compared to ours. We have some very good teams left to play. If asked before the beginning of the year what we needed to be going into the bye, I would have said 5-2. We are 3-4. If we lose to the Steelers, I see no way of us making the playoffs. Even if we do win, it will be a difficult task.
  15. Ah okay. Just going off of what I read on ESPN. Still, if he's able to drop back and plant off of that knee to throw the football in 7 on 7, one would expect him to play in a game 6 days away.
  16. Big Ben practiced today and was supposively running the no huddle. That knee injury must have had a real affect on him. /sarcasm
  17. Well technically they said Ben only had an MCL tear that just needed a trim. That was initially a 1-3 week injury reported. The only reason in went to a 4-6 week because they said he still had some stuff going on in his knee from a previous injury and that it would be a pain tolerance thing. He will be 3 weeks removed from injury when we play. He will def. be out there playing against the Ravens if it's only a pain tolerance. I still can't believe he played the whole second half of the Dolphins game with the injury. Also, the Steelers should be getting back a lot of their injured guys for this game. Ben, if he does play, Ladarius Green should be back, Wheaton, Rogers, Gilbert on their offense and then Heyward, he makes their D go, Shazier, missed time like always and played sparingly against the Pats. So they have just as many injury concerns. It should be a good competitive game where hopefully both teams have everyone healthy.
  18. ???? I'm sure every team in the NFL would be fearful of coming to play a team that went the whole month of October without winning a game.... /sarcasm
  19. Harbaugh throwing Jernigan under the bus, is just the beginning. No way the FO will sit on their hands again if this team finishes under .500 again. I fully believe Harbaugh would be let go if he has another season like last and it looks like it may turn out a little better but not by much. How can you, as a head coach, criticize one of your best performing players, on the defensive side of the ball, the unit who is responsible for even making this team look like a below average team?! If it wasn't for our D playing over their heads, this team would honestly be in the bottom 5 in the league. How can he criticize one mess up by an extremely young player still learning when he watches Flacco, a veteran making more than anyone on this team, screw up about 20 times a game? How is he not being criticized? This team thinks just because he's the franchise player that he can't be touched. That's straight horse[profanity deleted]. If anything he should be getting more of the blame than anyone. I'd love to see his stats compared to the others in this league that are up there in his echelon of salary. Salary or not, he's playing like a bottom 5 QB right now. That's the most glaring problem.
  20. Sorry, but if you employ NFL worthy players, rushing for 6 yards in a complete game is an absolute joke. Every player, coach and executive should have to watch the segment of him doing that on replay. May be then some of these people will be embarrassed enough to get their heads out of their own asses.
  21. Perriman I would say hasn't been given a fair chance but he is contributing so little that I don't know what else you can say other than a bust. He's a first rounder that is being outproduced by some undrafted guys in the league. Yea, of course, it's not all his fault and some of his struggles can be attributed to the ineptitude of our entire offense. But for me, he just shouldn't have been a first round pick. Yes size and speed can't be taught, but to excel in this league, where almost every defensive back is running a 4.4 40, you need things like route running and catching the ball, both he seems to severely lack. This just stems back to the Ravens FO severe ineptitude at being able to draft skill position players that past handful of drafts.
  22. Only problem with our bye week is that it is also the Steelers bye week and they are a lot more injured than we are.
  23. 1-3 weeks is the typical timeframe for this type of injury. Knowing Big Ben, he will be out there for our game against the Steelers.
  24. Don't see how this defense can do anything without a pass rush. Suggs is literally the only one out there providing pressure/sacks. Even if he tries to play through the injury, it would probably do the team more harm than good. He'd be able to get little to no leverage against LT's and almost no push when being ran at. This situation is honestly a lose/lose type of one. Sad thing is, the front office may be content with him trying to play through it. Just for the simple reason that there is absolutely nothing behind him and a one armed Suggs is better than our backups.
  25. Bengals and Steelers also have a ton of injuries.
