  1. Unless one of the Steelers or Ravens fall off, it basically is going to come down to Christmas Day. Right now, it is looking like if we are all tied with the same division record, the Steelers will have a good shot of getting in because of their record against common opponents. Our common opponents are the Bills (W), Browns (2W), Bengals (2?), Giants (L), Cowboys (L), Eagles (?), Redskins (L), Patriots (?), Jets (L), Dolphins (?) So right now we are 3-4. With 5 games to go. I'll say that we beat the Bengals twice and the Dolphins. Lose to the Patriots and Eagles. Finish 6-6 Steelers are Bills (?), Browns (W,?), Bengals (W,?), Giants (?), Cowboys (L), Eagles (L), Redskins (W), Patriots (L), Jets (W), Dolphins (L) So the Steelers are 4-4. I'd guess they beat the Browns, Bengals and in this scenario we'd need the Bills and Giants to both beat them to have a chance and tie in this tiebreaker. Simply put, we need to beat them Christmas Day or have them drop one to the Bengals or Browns (which the Steelers have typically done very well against both) so that we have a better divisional record than them. If we have the same record and divisional record, it is not looking very good for the common opponents tiebreaker. Those two loses to the New York's really hurt.
  2. I wonder how many years in a row will continue to fire OC's, making the entire O learn another new system, and not throw any blame onto the personnel that are incompetent of fullfilling that system. At some point, the reptiveness of how bad our O is needs to be out on the shoulders of our front office/scouts. They need to be able to draft/sign players that fit well and if that doesn't happen then they need to be let go. These scouts are drafting players for one type of scheme and the front office changes that scheme year in and out.
  3. Can't believe we expended a first round pick on this guy and he is playing so little. Something must be seriously wrong with him because it doesn't seem like there is too much in front of him preventing him from playing time.
  4. Even without Green this game will be a struggle. Flacco can never seem to play well against the Bengals and their D. This will be another low scoring game that will come down to the end.
  5. Flacco throwing 2 yard passes, on 3rd and 5, and leading receivers into oncoming LB/CB/S's is the most infuriating thing. Here's a guy getting paid almost at the top of his position and 9 years in the league and he still continuously does that kind of stuff
  6. This fan base got lulled into a sense of hope because this offense had a decent second half against the Browns worst D in the NFL. We played a somewhat decent defense today and once again Flacco and the O don't show up. How many games are we going to throw away with poor offense?
  7. Offense is still poop.
  8. That benefited us, but that's one of the reasons the NFL is going to hell. How is that a penalty?!
  9. Happens every year and I call people out on it, people sit around and say how this will be the best offense/best set of weapons the Ravens have ever had. But year in and out, our offense is putrid.
  10. Lol so you think a receiver running a go route 50 yards down the field is getting trailed by a Cover 2 CB?! Do you actually know what a Cover 2 is?
  11. That's on Flacco. Throw the damn ball!!
  12. Stanley getting beat again...
  13. And they were wrong. Coates beat Jimmy on a straight go route. Should have been a TD. Then a skinny post in the end one. Coates dropped the ball.
  14. I stated in a thread earlier. Coates should have had two TD's on him last weekend.
  15. Jimmy Smith is not having a good game again.
  16. Joe has 6 TD's to 8 INTS on the year. How much are we paying this guy again?!
  17. You could take Lewis off of our 2000 offense and it would sadly be better than the product we have today..
  18. He's a bust compared to where he was taken in the draft. Should have probably been a 2nd rounder but so many teams needing a WR pushed him into the 1st. He will probably end up being a 2-3 WR that lifts the top off the defense. The best we can hope for is probably what DJax is in Washington right now.
  19. The one negative that I didn't state earlier in the week but I will now after rewatching the game, Jimmy Smith should be sending Big Ben thank you cards for being so inaccurate Sunday. He was beaten handily twice for touchdowns and both of them were by Coates which makes it even more glaring. Coates beat him once on a streak and was a good 5 yards past him. Ben just simply missed the pass. The other he alligator armed a potential TD (not sure if he would have gotten feet in) that Jimmy seemed to just give up on. After rewatching, I'm not even sure I can fully evaluate the D. Young played wel some plays, but it is so hard to judge them when the Steelers were so off, especially Ben. Steelers had a lot of stuff open that they usually hit but couldn't Sunday for some reason. Probably Big Bens rust.
  20. Thank the lord Haley didn't give the keys to the offense until the fourth quarter. As horrible as our offense looked, the Steelers looked X2 as worse the first three quarters. I have honestly never seen an offense look that bad in my entire life. Our offense is still a mess. We had one big play. Other than that, it was a joke. We aren't going to get far as a team. We will need offenses to completely lay an egg like today if we want to win many more games. Lucky for us, the AFC North may be won by an 8-8 team and there's a chance it can be us.
  21. Umm the offensive line was absolutely horrible today. So I'm not sure if this is sarcasm or you are being serious that this is the reason we have won our 4 games.
  22. May be the Ravens actually rushed Stanley back too quickly? I know he has been practicing for almost a month now but dang is he looked horrendous out there. Dare I say Hurst esque?? That scared me typing.
  23. We all hate him, but when Shazier is healthy, rarely, he is a game changer.
  24. Pass rush is non existent again today. Only negative I could throw onto the D. But then again, the Steelers are running 2 yard routes so I guess they don't really have a chance. This whole game is just puzzling to me.
