When I saw that RGIII was placed on IR and that McCown would be the starter, I got very concerned... isn't that pathetic?
We can't sit back. We have to attack him and get him uncomfortable in the pocket. If we do that, we'll win easily. Though if the offense does what it is capable of, it won't be an issue. Their D is awful.

Doubtful re: Asa Jackson. Been there, done that. I think Campanaro is going to be our PR, assuming he stays healthy.

Hope he's wrong about Perriman... he needs the reps with Joe.

I'm talking historically. We're way up in the W-L column in our head-to-head contests.

FYI for you out of towners like myself who might not be able to get the original broadcast, NFL Network is showing it at 5:00 a.m. Sunday (My DVR is already set!) Anyone know if this will be the Lions or the Ravens announcers for that broadcast? I am really hoping it's the Ravens announcers after being stuck with the Colts announcers for the last one!
I think that they go by the Home team, so it should be the Ravens broadcast, but don't quote me! Hahaha.
Great news!! Would love to see a bomb from Flacco to Perriman for the TD. Let's gooooooo.
9 hours ago, Ravensfan23 said:I'm saying Perriman plays. He's been cleared for full practice and the things that have been said by him and about him leads me to believe he'll play.
So, now for me the question becomes exactly when do you play Perriman and how long? Flacco said he'll treat this like any other 3rd preseason game, so I expect him to play at least a half of football, which will be plenty of time to get Perriman a few targets with Joe. I think the biggest thing with Perriman is getting him some success early. I'd give him a WR screen or shallow crosses to get the ball in his hands early and a potential to run in space. I think the stadium will erupt once Perriman gets the ball in his hands and they hype around this guy will take off so quickly once we actually see him in action.
As for the rest of the WR corp. I think it'll be interesting to see how that group is used while Joe is in the game. I think this game the coaches will definitely want Joe and Wallace to continue their connection they've built in camp. I'm sure Aiken will get a few targets and will Camp be allowed to work in the middle of the field from the slot which he didn't really get to do last game. Will the coaches rotate WRs in to allow Butler and Moore to get work with Flacco in the game as well. Those are the 6 WRs I can see the Ravens going into the season with. Don't think SSS will play but obviously he'd make 7. So do the coaches give Butler and Moore the most time to really make their case for reps in real games. Butler will make things real interesting because he's been doing extremely well all offseason, camp and preseason, do you not reward him with a roster spot? But can you really keep 7 WRs on "this" team with quality numbers at other positions as well?
The key for Perriman will be to see him catch it, get hit... and get back up and run the next play.
A W is a W. I'll take it. We absolutely own the Nats!
Yeah, I'm not going to let this thread go any further... take it to the Other NFL Teams "Arrest" thread. And keep it civil.
It's going to be weird watching the Lions and not seeing Megatron... but that should help our D get a fast start!
I want to see a 3-and-out by the Defense and a nice, sustained drive by the offense with a big, safe pocket for Joe. No hits, hurries, or sacks, please!
All I can say is that I'm glad he's the Chargers' headache and not ours.

Reverse lock... no way we should win either game. If we win 1, I'll be happy ![]()
Perriman looked great, and he just looked fast. Can't wait to see him run his first Go Route.

I think that if our offensive line plays up to its potential that Joe will have his first 4,000+ yard season. We have soooooo many weapons. It's going to be fun.
Plus, we have the same offensive coordinator for a change.
So excited to see him! I've been skeptical, but I want nothing but the best for him!

Ravens WR Breshad Perriman is participating in Tuesday's practice, his first one in two months. Perriman, the 2015 first-round pick, was activated off PUP on Monday.
Anybody know if he is a full participant or limited?
Looking forward to a good report from Harbs after practice!
Not sure why there's concern about the D when Suggs and Doom weren't out there. That changes everything. I'm ecstatic that we're actually forcing turnovers!
Moore looked legit and I think he'll be making some big plays for us this season; Butler too.
5 minutes ago, BOLDnPurPnBlacK said:Well I set that Perriman return before/after at Wednesday.
Everyone was easily taking the after... But I went before. The mans off the PUP and should be ready to roll.
I just can't believe it. With some of the posts I read, I could have sworn he was on life support and unlikely to ever walk again let alone play football. It's a miracle!!
but on a serious note, he does have to get through an entire practice. That's the first step. Let's hope it's smooth sailing for him now. Would be really nice to see him get some reps in either PS3 or PS4.
Really really excited to see what the kid can do. Pulling for him.
If he doesn't practice, I don't see him playing. I imagine he'll get a few snaps in the final game, but not many.
Happy to see that Elvis is back!
Perriman off PUP now is also good news, but until I see him IN a game, I won't believe it.

I too am excited about Reynolds' potential, but he really needs to show he is dependable enough as a returner to give him a roster spot. (which is incredible to even imagine completely changing positions and being ready for the NFL immediately) It will be interesting if he doesn't make the 53 man roster if someone else grabs him before we put him on our practice squad.
Very nice, and glad to have you part of Ravens Nation! I think as long as the PRs can catch the punts this week, we'll be in good shape ![]()
