Well, among other things. There RBs bulldozing our defensive line and linebackers on a play-by-play basis nearly cost us the playoffs also.

No doubt, but Flacco's fumble and INT led to 9 Eagles points... but yeah, I don't understand what happened to our DL yesterday.

I actually thought the playcall for eagles final play was worse than marty's. A pass for the win when your running game is averaging what seems like 8 ypc? Anyways my main point is, that redzone int is more on Flacco than Marty imo. No reason to throw that ball, even if the LB wasnt there that pass wasnt going to be completed.

Pees called an all out blitz, so theoretically a running play would've been blown up in the backfield... we just got lucky.

He made Torrey Smith better, that's become evident. Also made Jacoby Jones better. Mike Wallace has revived his career here and Steve Smith has excelled with Flacco better than he did with Newton. I agree he's not Rodgers, I'm not crowning Big Ben however, he is overrated, I'll take Joe over Ben any day.

Fair enough, but none of those guys were elevated to All-Pro status or even Pro Bowl status... the other guys help their WRs become stars.

  4. Joe's not great. Never has been and never will. He's a very good NFL QB who needs a lot of help to get the job done. He doesn't make the players around him better a la Brady, Rodgers, Big Ben, etc. He had a tremendous run a few years ago and he brought Baltimore another Super Bowl. For that, we will be eternally grateful. Let's just be content with a middle-tier QB who may have hit his ceiling. Still better than more than half of the league!

  5. The good news is we can't lose this week. We can't blow a 7 or 10 point lead this week.

We can get healthy in time for Pitt, who may or may not have Big Ben (not that it really matters with the way our secondary plays).

Just. Get. Healthy. Oh, and stop holding!!
