R.I.P Ted
I think Mallet may have a stronger arm then Flacco.
I hope Dean Pees is let go at the end of the year.
Yeah, players had nothing to do with that. Was just Pees vs all 11 guys on the 49ers offense.
Pees is not holding players accountable. He also does not have them prepared.
Let's not forget, Pees almost allowed the 49ers too come back in the Superbowl. I believe it is time for a change at DC.
Pees needs to find a way to create a pass rush. Campanaro deservers a shot. Marlon has done almost nothing since his rookie year .
Raven52Maniac52 is my gamertag for PS4.
Terrible news. Hope Brent can come back this year.
Belicheat should be thrown out of the league, if NFL finds out this is true. Patriots will lose this Super Bowl. It's called Karma for Cheating to win 3. Now He will lose 3! Lol
Hey Oz, The offense scores TD's!
We drafted Jerrigan to stop Jeremy Hill and the Bengals! Lol. I actually like the pick.
Mosley is a beast. He can get off blocks and is a humble leader. Some folks on here won't be happy until we have the first overall pick!
his kid wants him to play football...me being a father when your son says something like that to you your gna do it and hes gna be hungry when he does
I agree, it takes a little longer for most men to mature. I think that is what is happening, with Ro. He came into a man's league very young and wasn't ready. Now, through good people surrounding him, he has been able to mature, and see what is best for his family and himself. I think the Ravens are going to have a new Beast on the block! Lol
This is a very touching article, and really shows that Rolondo's mind, and heart are in the right place. This is a must read. Do you think he is ready?
1. Considering Zuttah played for the Big East in college, I'd rather play against Delaware competition.
2. College scouts matter when people are in college. Based on my ability to read, I now know that Zuttah is NOT, in fact, in college, nor has he been since 2008. Thus, why on Earth would anybody care about what he did in college, when he's played in the NFL for five seasons? Do you really believe any NFL scout or coach cares one bit about what he did in college? They traded for him because of what he did while in Tampa and what they saw based on his NFL game film. They could care less if he blocked for Ray Rice in college.
Do you think the Ravens gave Joe Flacco $52m guaranteed because he put up great offensive numbers at Delaware?
You are the man!!! Your totally right!! Your never incorrect!! It is a great day to be a Ravens fan!!
Flawed logic. Was Zuttah the only guy that blocking ahead of them? If not, then why are you giving him 100% credit for it? Seems a bit short-sighted to me.
Obviously, I don't really care about how great a blocker he was in college, because Gino was equally as effective in college. Once you become a veteran in this league, nobody should care one bit about what you did or didn't do in college. In general, the game films of college prospects are all the same.
At the end of the day, if you OBJECTIVELY look and see what is going on, you would be left with a certain amount of questions... such as...
1. He has started 9 out of 44 games at center.. is that a good or a bad thing? During your claims that he single-handedly led Doug Martin to a big season, he played guard mostly. Do you know for certain which position he will be playing on this team? I don't... and neither do you.
2. Perhaps the biggest question... why was he traded to begin with? I mean we know the Bucs acquired Dietrich-Smith in FA, but why acquire him if they already have somebody they clearly liked in Zuttah? It couldn't have been the money, because Zuttah just signed a new deal last season, and for a guy who mostly played guard, his salary was pretty affordable.
These are the things that YOU don't know, because nobody knows these things. You may THINK you know, but you don't.
Check your facts! He has played more then nine games at Center. Your logic about Gino playing just as good in college is wrong. Gino's level of talent he was playing against was Ngata compared to Zuttah. And where do I give 100% credit to Zuttah in any of my statements? Also guess you know more then College scouts, since College play doesn't matter! LMBO
As I already said, I like this trade but I'm in a wait and see mode to see who earns the 3 starting spots up for grabs before gushing over the guy. You do realize the game you mentioned as an example was against the Atlanta Falcons' 31st ranked run defense right? Rainey's only other 100+ yard rushing game came against the 28th ranked Buffalo Bills' run defense. I have high hopes for Zuttah and our line too but not a particularly good example. Its sort of like how Rice had the terrible year he had but put up over 100 yards against a terrible Bears' run defense...
Okay, lets see, Ray Rice ran behind him in college, The Muscle Hamster ran behind him in Tampa and was injured, then another running back took over in Tampa when the Muscle Hamster got hurt. (can't recall his name) He had 2 really good games running behind Zuttah then he got injured, then Rainey came in and did ok. That is 4 RB's that have done well running behind Zuutah. Go to U-Tube and watch his film. He is a beast. He gets to the second level and steam roles. I am usually not very optimistic, but I know talent when I see it. Zuttah is very talented! Trust in the Wizard my friend!
He appears to be an upgrade on what we have currently. Other than that, we don't really know anything about him. He could struggle, and we have no idea. Heck, he could get beat out for the job in training camp by Gino.
The point is... you shouldn't be sitting here saying that he was the reason Rainey exploded, because he wasn't. As is the case with every offensive line, there's pretty much no one player who will make or break it. We had a pretty good LT and RG on this team last season, and nobody noticed, because the O-line was bad.
He simply appears to be an upgrade at this time, but we really don't know anything else beyond that.
You don't know anything about him. Don't assume that I don't! I liked him when he went to Rutgers. He is one of the reasons Ray Rice had such a great college career. The world doesn't revolve around only your Knowledge, my friend! There was another Running back that did very well in Tampa Before Rainey but was injured, then Rainey took over, And don't forget the Muscle Hampster. That is 4 RB that have done pretty well running behind Zuttah, including Ray Rice.
No, not really. He also went 18 carries for 35 yards in his second week as the lead back, which was the week after the big week you were talking about. He played seven weeks as the lead back in that offense, where he got the majority of the carries.
He had two weeks where he was very good, and five weeks where he was very pedestrian or worse.
Essentially, anytime he played a above average run defense, he and the Buccaneers themselves struggled heavily to run the ball. Its not a coincidence that he crushed Atlanta and Buffalo, but struggled heavily against Detroit, SF, STL, NO and Carolina
I agree with your assessment, but I hope your not implying that Zuttah is not very good. I think he is one of the pieces we were missing last year.
Rainey started splitting carries. That could be and is the reason why.And he had less than 100 yards combined in his last 3 games... running behind the same center.
Not a good example.
We basically lost Rainey to Keep Trawick. I don't think any team would have taken Trawick off the practice squad.Yes that's right!I hated the fact that we let Bobby Rainey go too.... it was really a case of sour grapes on my part.
Hmm... never heard of him either, but again I haven't heard of too many non probowl caliber non-Ravens players either. I wonder what he graded out at Center last year? Hopefully somebody can post it for our benefit.
Bobby Rainey Exploded Running behind Zuttah, 3 TD'S in 1 game and almost 200 yards on the ground. Lol
I understand and agree with that. Evidently he is very good in pass protection, so I can only wonder if he lacks in the run game. Other wise I would expect more like a top 10 ranking with giving up ZERO sacks!
He is a great run blocker. His Motor never stops and gets to the 2nd level with no problem. Bobby Rainey exploded running behind Zuttah. Rainey almost had 200 yards in 1 game and3 TD'S in 1 game running behind him. We were just blessed with a great player.
Our New Center Can Catch and is very fast! Lol Check this link out.
Thank You Ozzie! You are a man of your word! Now let's go get a FS! Lol

Camp reminds me of Jullane Eddleman.Eddleman's first few years were the same injury wise. Camp just needs to get Cal Ripken to supply him with his Iron man milk. Lol
