  1. I agree that Juice is a versatile player, but what is his actual value in this offense? As a lead blocker, is he that much more valuable than a TE or lineman in short yardage situations? As a pass catcher, is he that much more valuable than the current pass catching backs in Marc Trestman's offense? I thought the drafting of Dixon, the YAC, monster coming out of the backfield, put Juice on the bubble. What say you?
  2. With so many good pass catching backs on this team, why does everyone count " Juice " as an automatic to make this roster? I think " Juice " as an " H " back is obsolete and will be an early cut.
  3. agreed.
  4. When someone writes " Timmy Jernigan Could Find Willie Henry Breathing Down His Neck. ", that sounds like hype to me. Blogger hype but hype none the less. No one will know if this is true until the real camp opens. But I can honestly say I'm more pumped to see how Willie Henry fairs.
  5. Hey it's a draft. It's all a crap shoot. You might be right, you might be wrong. Ain't it fun?
  6. Whoa fellas, slow down. These were just blog pieces from opinionated amateurs. Whether Henry is better than Jernigan remains to be seen. We've just seen OTA'S not camp. However, I really excited now to see if Henry can live up to this hype once the pads go on. And so should you. Until then, slow down.
  7. As I said before, Spence was a near perfect specimen. He has speed, power, and a variety of moves to go with it. As for his off the field activities, he tested positive for ecstacy, let me repeat that ecstacy not once but twice, kicked out of a Conference, not just his school, but kicked out of a Conference. That's pretty much enough to drop anyone in the draft. As for Bosa, Bosa's game is strictly power, he brings little else with his game and don't mistake him for J.J. Watt, Watt came into the league with power and a whole toolbag of moves.
  8. I thought his assessments were fair. It's not the first time I's heard that Spence was a near perfect specimen on the field but his off the field issues would drop his value to some teams or that Bosa was too flawed to live up to the hype he was receiving. Liked that he loved Ochi's talent but then reminded listeners that Ochi DID play at Stoneybrook. That's fair.
  9. Found another small article on SB Nation written on June 4, 2016 by Micheal Sedjro under the title " Timmy Jernigan Could Find Willie Henry Breathing Down His Neck. " Article is thin on detail, but comments beneath article is where the real meat of his piece is. Interesting read.
  10. It was from a small piece written during the OTA's on Bleacher report. I can no longer find if or I would have linked it for you. Are you familiar with Voch Lombardi on You Tube? He does a great film breakdown of Nkemdiche as well as many of the top college talent on this years' draft Check it out. This guy is thorough.
  11. I wan to see how Joe Flacco's injury recovery affects his play next season. And will the coaching staff go with Ryan Mallett into the season if Joe Flacco is 70% - 90% of his former self. I like this kid Mallett. he brings enthusiasm, a quick release, great recognition and a boom boom arm to the Ravens' offense. I really think we can win with this kid.
  12. Just recently read a BR blogger echo your report on Henry. He went so far as to say Henry was already better than Jernigan - against the run as well as a pass rusher. I find this hard to believe, but I'm anxious to see what this kid can do in camp.
