  1. That is so random. Paranormal Activity and POLICE ACADEMY?!? That movie came out in the 80's. How the hell did you let that one slip by. Now you have to step up your game and watch all of the Police Academies. Get your Steve Guttenberg fill. Speaking of Steve Guttenberg. That movie "High Spirits" he was in was pretty good. Loved it as a kid.
  2. Well my wife loves English history. What a wonderful opportunity to take her to London. Plus I'm sure the game tickets will be cheaper than they are in B-More.
  3. We seem to have a good following in the UK. Welcome to the boards.
  4. That is actually a pretty good movie. I've always loved it too. Never fully understood why. I can't stand John Travolta. Nicholas Cage is hit or miss. When I think of Cage, I think of Moonstruck.
  5. Another movie ruined by Russell Crowe. I agree, great Denzel performance though.
  6. I'm starting to see a trend with you Sizzle. haha.
  7. I can't stand either of those movie. Russell Crowe ruins it for me with his 'I want to puke on your shoes' face. Gladiator I can watch, but I don't herald it as much as most.
  8. Now there is a good movie. So suspenseful. Throw in Walken and you have a winner. That movie is so underrated. Russell Crowe I can't stand. Any movie he is in, ruins the movie for me. He just looks like he is going to throw up on my shoe every moment.
  9. I like DDL a lot. He has this presence about him, that makes you like him even if he's the villian.
  10. I can agree to this. He can play so many roles. Denzel is typecasted. Same role, over and over again.
  11. I've had this sitting at home for a week now. It's like a shot. I just want to take it and get it over with.
  12. This is true. I just got finished watching Days of Thunder the other night, and Tom Cruise is the dorkiest racecar driver ever. Then tonight I was watching a bit of Paul Newman's 'The color of money'. Not cool again. You're right, he can't do it. But Tom Cruise in 'Tropic Thunder'. That was cool. I'll give him that.
  13. Tom cruise can do anything, except be tall. He's THAT Good.
  14. Fine, I concede. It's of the 'fantasy' genre.
  15. But it has a unicorn?!?
  16. It's hard to imagine that was him. Rocky Horror, Clue. Legend?
  17. You ever see it? Watched it when I was a kid and it left an impression on my mind.
  18. If you guys want to talk about a good sci-fi movie. How about the Classic 'Legend'?
  19. I saw that report pop up earlier in the day but when I was looking at Sundance news I saw that tidbit saying it isn't true. Who knows. But you'd have to figure the idea is out there, a lot of money could be made. Me personally, not much of a Matrix fan.
  20. I posted this in the hockey thread. But I'm excited to hear that Keven Smith will be doing a adaptation of Warren Zevon's hockey song "Hit Somebody". And he's announced that it will be his final film. (Yeah right).
  21. This report says it isn't true. My link
  22. I agree. But Rob Zombie was the man with 'House of 1000 Corpses'. That movie was well-done. But then he overdid it with Devil's Rejects.
  23. Dexter is a pretty cool serial killer. That show just leaves me on the edge, and it just keeps coming, and coming (because its a series). I kinda like the thought of suspensful shows coming to the end after 2 hours.
  24. It's good because I still haven't watched the season finale. It's been on the DVR for a while. It might make it to next year, who knows.
  25. Just that the season begins late 2011 and won't finish up until 2012. Wasn't trying to be profound.
