  1. Just watched 'The Hole' on Netflix. Usually not a movie worth mentioning. But the fact that Kiera Knightly flashed during the movie was an unexpected surprise (and welcomed addition to a so-so movie).
  2. Does Undercover Brother qualify?
  3. I believe you are correct. I knew it was familiar but I couldn't remember. Haven't seen the original in a long time. I think it is getting rebooted.
  4. This clip reminds me why I love being a movie geek. So many great villians and movies. http://youtu.be/VayH1AIhV-s Does anyone know what movie the villian(monster) @ 1:25 is from?
  5. Ditto. I actually like the idea of it. But I believe Idris only said he wants to be the next bond, there has been no real communication about it.
  6. I've been on a roll this weekend. I knocked out "Men Behind the Sun", "Nekromantik". and the first three movies in the "Guniea Pig" collection. Once November hits, I'm going to have to watch several romantic comedies just to bring my brain back to some sort of normalcy. Some of this stuff can't be unseen though.
  7. That's a guilty pleasure. Damn good movie. Great story, great scenery, great acting.
  8. Talk about obscure. I'm in. Clocks in at a little over an hour. Not available via conventional means. Wikipedia makes it sound like just a bunch of *alternate viewers* having sex for an hour (I know this isn't the case)? If so, then it and a Serbian Film actually have a lot in common.
  9. Same. After it was done, I sat in my living room waiting for a knock on my door. I felt like I should have been arrested just for watching it. According to Wikipedia. It was shown at a film festival in Spain, and immediately after the showing, the director of the film festival was arrested for showing it.
  10. If it didn't get to you, you'd be one really, really sick individual. Ugh. Can't even talk about that part.
  11. Made it through 'A Serbian Film' last night and it definitely belongs in the discussion for THE most disturbing film. Just Wow. Its the sort of movie that makes you feel down right dirty after watching. Surprised at the Production Value. I was expected a poor quality film, bad acting. I'm amazed on how you get people (actors, crew, investors) to buy into the film. "This is what I want to shoot........" Salo on Crack.
  12. But speaking of Bond, who is everybody's favorite bond? You guys like the OG Connery, the funny man Moore, the Sharp Pierce, the dangerous Craig? I've always been a fan of Moore. Not the suavest of guys. But for my money, it doesn't get much better than Octopussy. Lazenby and Dalton were the worst.
  13. Bond has always stood for everything men. Booze, Women, Cool gadget Toys, Cars and Danger (his middle name). Dudes?!?
  14. That was a good flick. Zombies and the Civil War just seem like a match made in heaven. The movie really didn't focus on the Zombie aspect too much, it was more of a character driven story and the Zombies were just a side story almost. Good movie.
  15. Perhaps it was from a dream?
  16. I will, I am a fan of Bond, so is the wife. Should be pretty good.
  17. Any one have any recommendations though? Would love to hear them.
  18. I didn't think Cannibal Holocaust was that bad. It does deserve credit for paving the way, I'm not giving it enough credit there (But Salo still gets more). Holocaust didn't have an affect upon me in a disturbing way. Maybe the problem is I went into it with very high expectations. The film had its moments.
  19. Love them. I actually didn't think Cannibal Holocaust was that bad. I currently have a ongoing list of 'Most Distirbuting Films' on IMDB, Hoping to add A Serbian Film to it. Here is the list so far: 1. Visitor Q - Film pretty much covers it all. 2. Salo, or the 120 days of Sodom - This filmed paved the way for disturbing 3. Irreversible 4. Antichrist 5. Aftermath - Quick hitting short film 6. The Burning Moon - Most of the film is absolute garbage but the last fifteen minutes is worth it. 7. Martyrs 8. Human Centipede II 9. Begotten 10. Taxidermia
  20. I am going to watch 'A Serbian Film' tonight. I can do this, because the wife is out of town. Looking forward to it. Anybody else watch it yet?
  21. Great! now I have Tracy Morgan's voice stuck in my head saying 'Fear is Funny'.
  22. Yeah I have Waterboy, Billy Madison, and Happy Gilmore in a class of their own. The rest is just fluff,
  23. *Hold me back!* *Hold me back!*
  24. I too loved the first Silent Hill. Movie is dark, strange and creepy. Its very underrated. Didn't know a new one was coming out. First one was a unique flick.
  25. Went to the theater to see Argo last night. Better than I expected. Fully expect it to be an Oscar nominee for best picture (doubt it wins). The suspense was good, acting good, it felt like 1980. Don't know if the suspense will carry over when watching it at home.
