Typical Pees' scheme, Play decent for 3 1/2 quarters, drop back and give away games in the last 5 minutes = Lost games Lack of pass rush on both edges Again. Suggs and Doom. Too much cap money for Zero performance. Another argument for replacing our current pass rushers. WE lost a lot of battles in the trenches all year. Defense can't get off the field, too many big plays down the field due to NO pass rush = losses Bingo. Yes I agree, Bad coordinator with old slow edge rushers = lost games NO Pass Rush = Bad Qb's looking like Tom Brady. Suggs needs to go, Iv'e said this all year, Too old and slow.

This quote after the game is classic “We got to address some issues,” outside linebacker Terrell Suggs said. “We got to be honest with ourselves and we got to address those issues if we want a chance at success, if we don’t want to be on the outside looking in.” Start by announcing your own retirement, No place for old, slow, one arm pass rushers in this league.

Get rid of ALL the "Old Farts" , I would rather watch first year players, that play with passion and act like they want to be NFL players. This lethargic team we have currently makes me depressed, I watch this team make the same dumb mistakes week after week all season. Only means two things , you are not that good to begin with or your coaching staff sucks. Which is it? I say blow it up, bring some young coaching staff in here , even if they have to learn on the job its better then this crap.

Thanks Steve, You made me think of Ray Lewis's passion for the game , the way you play should be the model for the NFL. Harb's style of coaching scares players like you from coming to the team. Enjoy your retirement, God knows you earned it.

Ok, I have read through only half of this thread. NOW to you guys believe what I have said through out this year? The total lack of pass rush is KILLING this defense, You can't give quarterbacks that much time to look for receivers down field. The most popular comment so far today has been the lack of performance all year by Doom and Suggs. Fix this position and we automatically have a better defense. It only took one more win this year to turn this thing around. Yea, I'm pissed because of this outcome, but it is fixable. Desert PS: sorry for the double post

What part of "lack of pass rush" don't you understand? Most successful offensives do very well when their quarterback can sit back in the pocket for 7-10 seconds. The more time it takes our old warhorses to get there means the secondary has to cover longer, They are not doing the job they need to now, so how can they be asked to cover receivers longer? Elam should not even be on this team, and Webb was too slow to play corner. So how can he be asked to play safety.

I knew I wasn't the only one who felt this way. Please understand I appreciate everything Suggs has accomplished in the past. But we still need more consistent play from that position. IMO and that of many others, its time to move on. I still have not forgotten Suggs showing up to training camp 30 lbs over weight, and out of shape. then using all of preseason and the first half of the season to get in shape. What king of "Veteren Leader" does that BS? Huh? Torn Achilles injuries are very rarely something players come back from at 100%. lmao, Suggs has Never been the "General" on this team. He Plays at half speed now, Even takes plays off, Just like Ngata use to. Can't seal the edge, too slow. I was shocked they brought him back this year. When will we get younger at the edges? This current lack of pass rush has been exposing our week secondary for the last two years now.

I think he's still pissed from last weeks "check down over the middle show" type of game. He wasn't targeted much if at all, why? Desert
