  1. Relax, it's only been 8 years. Joe's dominant receiver is bound to show up at SOME point in his career.
  2. Joe isn't perfect but as often as I've seen him make indefensible mistakes, I've also seen his receivers fail him during potentially clutch plays. It'll be easier to take the "elite" question seriously after he's had multiple seasons with "elite" pass-catching help like other overrated QBs.
  3. Cam's line played as if this wasn't the Super Bowl tonight.
  4. w/ Freckles
  5. I don't see the refs sucking more than they usually do. This is mostly on Carolina.
  6. I doubt this would be as much of a controversy if the Panthers were doing this after a string of dominant seasons. Some may see it as 'you're showing this much for just one season of success?' I personally won't have a problem with it as long as they don't return to garbage next season. But if they do.........
  7. He could win. I doubt he'll do much more than choke though. He should retire either way.
  8. SATIRE: I got a complaint about something other than Joe. The AFC North division & lack of above average pass-catching crew. Why does Joe have to play in a division where at least 3 teams regularly make the playoffs? Why not have the NFL trade the Steelers and Bengals for weaker AFC franchises so Joe can look like a fraudulent QB god? It would clearly be ok with fans and media reps since we have historical accounts of this happening with no protest. Peyton & Tom are prime examples of this. Andrew Luck is following suit in a STILL weak AFC South. Cam Newton finally got a taste of what it's like to be the best of a mostly mediocre or worse division. If the NFL made the Ravens the only competitive team of the AFC North, Joe can carve up weak divisional teams year after year and scoop a few more rings and undue praise in the process. We've all seen how being the most winning QB in the league's toughest division for years can get you krapped on. That's clearly not the answer. Relocate the Steelers and Bengals. Move in some bottom-rung teams so Joe can be a lock for 5-6 divisional wins then frequently grab 5+ outside the North with soft schedules. When someone rightfully questions us about the strength of schedule we shrug it off and pretend it's not a factor. While we're at it, let's also consistently equip Joe with at least 3 stellar pass catchers every year instead of 1-2 for pieces of a season. Oh and when Joe gets exposed against tough teams with prime-Wayne, Harrison, Garcon and Clark caliber catchers, remember to coddle him with excuses and pretend he's still the best. C'mon, Goodell & co. Make it easy for Joe so he can become the next "elite" fraud.
  9. Pats are out. Now all that's left is for the Panthers to retire Peyton w/ a 1-3 SB record.

And your last hurrah is a boring opinion. Whatever. Let's just enjoy the game, dude.

At least Peyton has class. Cam does not. Not a fan of Elway, mad at Kubiak for going back on his word but can't stand people that don't know how to act when they win.

I'll say this about Super Bowl 48 so you two can stop bickering- The Seahawks defense, which ranked first in most major statistical categories, was the reason for the victory. The Seahawks could have easily won with their defensive scores and special teams scores. The Broncos defense wasn't an issue.

  10. Oh, come now. This article made Harbs & co. look like catty, immature grudge holders. You don't experience his level of success as HC playing school girl politics w/ professional football personnel, do you?
  11. Not wishing Hue success while he's coaching in the North. It's tough enough already lol. Go take that elite offensive mind elsewhere...or bring it back to Baltimore lol. I dream.
  12. Earlier today many sources reported Ed Reed joining Rex Ryan in Buffalo to serve as assistant DB coach for the Bills. Rex also added his brother Rob to the defensive coaching staff. On the surface these appear to be significant if not huge moves. On the positive end of a prediction spectrum these moves could be key to creating a defensive juggernaut in the AFC East. My concern is that it's already been reported that Rex has one year to right the ship with the Bills or he's history. Will that be enough time? If things don't turn out as intended what becomes of Ed Reed? Also, provide your take on what you think Rex saw in Ed to consider bringing him on as an assistant DB coach? Have the Ravens evaluated Ed for a potential coaching position? If so, was an offer ever made? Anyway, predictions! Insight! Let the fun begin!!
  13. Wonder if Peyt's face was as red during his response to HGH claims as it was during his post Super Bowl 48 Q&A. Priceless moment.
  14. Yea, shame, Perriman bashers. How dare you display your rightful frustration with the results of last year's draft? Hop aboard the hype train and pretend everything's sweet. The nerve of you sharing your opinions. Drink this kool-aid!
  15. Is Boldin is the only WR in franchise history the Ravens regrettably let go?
  16. Who thinks the F.O. has learned from letting receivers walk who are worth keeping? Who thinks nothing will change? Why?
  17. Not even mad at the no-call. Upshaw's own fault he was held.
  18. Get the broom. GO RAVENS!!
  19. Default factory settings. LMAO. At least respect the fans enough to come up with a believable lie.
  20. Hard to talk trash about a guy who torched our secondary with "good enough" passes the last couple times they played against him.
  21. Jags still have yet to "win" a game on the road. I now expect us to be able to run a last-second play without all our guys set and not be called for it every time. I don't care if it sounds unreasonable. It's a valid expectation until refs start getting fined for these mistakes lol.
  22. Sounds too much like right. Be shocked if that ever happens.
  23. Family first, Dennis. Thanks for the clutch plays.
  24. *Yawn* ...they knew this seasons ago. They knew this as they traded receivers who were worth their contracts. Nothing will change. More than happy to be proven wrong.
  25. Flacco vs Ryan? *hysterical laughter* SO glad we don't have Matt.
