  1. The Good: Most of tonight's O-line performance. Perriman and Waller. The Bad: Slow start. If the Ravens can work their way to four quarters of what we saw in the second half...awesome. The Ugly: Lewis's injury. Hope he recovers swiftly.
  2. More good: No significant injuries....that I know of. Let me know if that's changed.
  3. Good: Special Teams. Bad: Still waiting for a killer in the receiving corps. Ugly: A screwed pooch lol. Thanks Pit.
  4. Whatever. I'll take it. 4-4
  5. One day we'll have the talent to go for kill shots. Just won't be today lol.
  6. Clutch sack by Judon. Whew...
  7. Easy to extend plays when you have receivers who consistently help keep them alive. Who do we have that's comparable to Brown again? *crickets* ...right.
  8. Many of us have seen that a great deal of our offensive woes have been due to subpar line play. I'm sure some would argue most of those woes are due to it. As much as I've seen through the first seven weeks there is still much I don't know as far as root causes for these issues. How much of the line's trouble is due to injuries? Who's playing out of their 'natural' position? Who's in reasonably good shape and simply failing to execute? How much of this (if any of it) is on Juan and Co.? Thanks in advance for all the useful insight. UPDATE: So my 'Help me develop a rational picture of the o-line' topic got merged with this. Man, if only this thread got as much input as the merged Flacco hate threads do.
  9. Wrong. SHAMELESS Flacco apologist. You left out the shameless part. Include that from today forward. Thanks.
  10. Am I reading this right? All the failed blocks, drops, and other non-QB botched executions go away if we simply restructure Joe's contract? ROFL
  11. Defending Joe is a balancing act. Dude is far from infallible. I doubt as many would defend him if so many didn't blame him for things that aren't his responsibility. Joe's made a number of indefensible mistakes this game though.
  12. Timmy's like "Well it's not like the other side will put up points. It's up to me!!" *Strip* "..oh."
  13. He's done nothing to build any confidence in his abilities. I can't even say that was a 'rookie' mistake.
  14. Is the commentator watching the same game? Receiver clearly gave up on the play.
  15. Then had the nerve to say he'd take his 'services' elsewhere as we sent him packing.
  16. The line fails yet again. Sheesh.
  17. When the Ravens did it in 2012, the receivers stepped up during the playoff stretch. Hell, even Ed Dickson managed to not ritually drop drive-saving passes. My point is it's a receivers' job to elevate their level of play but we consistently blame Joe when they fail. I've lost count of how many times I saw Joe place the ball where it needed to be and the receiver legitimately failed on their own.
  18. Have you seen our receiving group this year? LOL Joe would likely have multiple games with multiple TDs if receivers played like they've been there before. Perriman's lack of veteran technique cost us against the Redskins. Aiken failed to sustain our final drive against the Raiders despite looking like a rising star the latter half of 2015. Truth is we STILL haven't solved the WR problem when it comes to acquiring elite playmakers. Somehow we've always fallen short when it comes to nabbing a pass-catcher who simply can't be stopped at times (Megatron, Fitz, AJ Green, A Brown, Gronk, hell even OBJ when he's focused lol).
  19. Harbs is a survivalist. He'll pull through and right the ship as he's done on multiple occasions.
  20. Thank you. Any fan want to remind us when Joe failed to win with a Megatron, Marvin Harrison, or OBJ-type receiver on this team? The way fans complain you'd swear we had an elite receiving tandem Joe's entire time here.
  21. Exactly. Gotta take the good and the bad. We usually luck out on 4th down risks.
  22. I'm not calling him a bust yet but I totally understand the frustration. Take away the year of having to wait to see him play and I bet the disappointment drops a great deal.
  23. Lol, you beat me to it. I was gonna say that and Beckam killed us more than offensive stalls. We did enough to win sans penalties. The D couldn't close.
  24. Hard to be upset with some of the decisions. Had they gone the other way, fans would be revering Harbs for 'gutsy' calls.
  25. Still on Joe that last drive though.
