  1. But, but... placing blame where it's due is just...too...reasonable!!
  2. No doubt Joe can put the offense in position to win. Question is will the rest of the offense take advantage or does Joe need to catch his own passes?
  3. Let's see the Bengals post 30+ away from home. Frauds. GO RAVENS.
  4. I only download if that's the only way to get the game.
  5. We'll survive. Sheesh.
  6. How are the Pats (or ANY team) cheaters when the NFL allows teams to get away with buffoon tactics without damaging consequences?

Not sure what you're even referencing.

Come on, you know. That team that put a football uniform on a clown and had him make balloon puppets on defense. So distracting.

  7. So, Joe lost this game because of the "new offsense" myth, right? Same B.S. excuse bias analysts coddle Peyton with? Can we give Joe a pass for losing games due to experiencing numbness in his funny bone? Thanks.

We likely win the game without the bone-headed pick-6, have to say.

I'm sure Bronco fans felt the same way when Peyton tossed six to J. Smith.

  8. Sports media won't stop there. They'll also be coddling Peyton with the "new offense" excuse every time he fails to produce scoring drives. New offense, numb fingertips, John Fox's ghost he'll be defended in all sorts of laughable ways.
  9. I think whoever saw this game won't overreact much outside the last play. We got screwed by that no-call but I'm more upset the line couldn't give Joe that split second to make an accurate toss.
  10. Steelers weren't cheated. NFL hasn't officially said so. 0-1 without being cheated is even sweeter to me.
  11. Peyton's fingertips won't be the reason he's inevitably regarded as a mortal fraud this season. GO RAVENS!!

  12. That's the problem. This is why I asked what moral conflict could arise from the idea of the Ravens employing unconventionally resourceful tactics to gain an edge in the game? The NFL just proved using tactics that could be perceived as "cheating" isn't cheating by allowing the Pats to keep their rings and not stripping them of title contention after winning against Indy.
  13. ONLY if the NFL doesn't deem it cheating. As of now they haven't. Will there be public scrutiny by sports media? Sure. But Spygate, Ballghazi and scandals before it have proven sports media's opinion doesn't matter to the NFL. Litter your articles with facts or visceral opinion, the team keeps the rings.
  14. That's why I wasn't even upset with the ruling. I realized the controversy wasn't the Patriots allegedly cheating but the rest of the league not getting the memo that the organizational culture had changed and the Patriots were ahead of the curve. It's only cheating if you get caught and suffer damaging consequences. People have died holding their breath for reasonable punishment. I'm simply hoping the rest of the league gets with the program. "Cheat" if that's what you want to call it.
  15. Fingers crossed for Pats winning week 1 then Tom getting suspended in the thick of the season. A man can dream.
  16. I'm actually happy for this ruling. Quite some time ago I advocated for the Ravens to adopt a "win by any means necessary" philosophy. The NFL recently reminded us cheating doesn't exist through its failures to carry out any significant punishment during the Patriots multiple scandals. The Supreme Court pretty much echoed this fact with its ruling. My question now is what moral conflict outside of one's own personal boy-scout preference could develop if the Ravens were to adopt a ruthless approach to winning? Could the Ravens employment of "unscrupulous" tactics be considered "cheating" in today's tainted league?
  17. "We will appeal ruling in order to uphold the collectively bargained responsibility to protect the integrity of the game." - Roger Goodell LMAO!!!

  18. No "news" about Joe here. Been fun watching him destroy the house of elitist superstition though.
  19. I wouldn't wish the end of anybody's career but he probably needs to be banned from the NFL to see how cold the world can be after squandering multiple chances.
  20. I actually want them to go to the Super Bowl now...and WIN. This scandal is too delicious to not send the Pats and seal their reputation as the biggest frauds in NFL history. Mwahahaha.
  21. So, Peyton performs his ritual playoff choke but John Fox is the scapegoat?

Without Peyton Manning... definition of a mediocre coach (81-79) career record, 4 playoff appearances in 10 seasons.

With Peyton Manning... 38-10, 3 postseason appearances in 3 seasons.

Jacket has a point Its all about the QB and in my opinion the chess pieces he is paired with.

I think the thing people forget is that Fox is actually a defensive minded coach, not an offensive minded one. His defenses were pretty terrible despite lots of talent.

  22. Loved this year's o-line. My personal highlight of the season.
