We better get a legit playmaker on offense. Otherwise we're gonna pass the ball 40 times a games while Pitta and Juice lead the team in receiving.

I liked him watching a few games live. What's his projected range?
Only the ravens smh. Wonder who'll take over for him halfway through next year
I was completely shocked when Correa was drafted. Other than that, Pierce came out of nowhere and looks like he will become a really good player.

This, none of his sacks last year were impressive. He's nothing more than an okay edge setter against the run, but that's more than I can say about Correa.
Not a Pees fan, but you should never have to rely on blitzing to get pressure. We need a 4 man rush that can get to the QB. Jernigan and Pierce are nice pieces inside but the edge is pretty bad.
The penalties will come down with better players, I don't then that's a coaching issue. Also, I don't think player development is a big problem, we just don't have talented enough players. So the biggest issues in order:
1. Lack of pass rush off the edge - Judon is the only future piece we have
2. No power in the running game - it'll improve as Stanley and Lewis have a year under their belt, but we need more interior push. Flacco needs a good running game to do well
3. CB depth - I think Tavon can be a Chris Harris type corner play slot and outside. Jimmy is like Big Ben, hes going to miss games every year, and until there's good depth behind him the losing will continue.
4. No offensive playmaker - Without Steve there is no one who strikes any kind of fear whatsoever into defenses
There's some top level prospects I think could fall, Williams is definitely not one of them. Teams will not care about him legally carrying a gun and they shouldn't

Not my fault you can't read. I clearly said cut Pitta and Watson but sure just ignore that. I don't think the TE's are anything special, but neither is WR and OLB. And we can't win until the interior OL and CB depth is addressed. Gillmore is okay. Boyle is actually pretty good, and I'm not sure why you're just assuming he'll get another suspension. There's a lot of areas of need and it'll be hard to hit them all. I'll let you continue though.
For like the third year in a row we still need another good OLB, CB and WR. Please do not fork over a bunch of money for Williams, resign Wagner and add another good interior OL too.
Theres a lot of pieces in places and a lot of impact players on rookie deals for the next couple years. We're in great shape if Ozzie produces a good offseason.
I wish we could get an explanation from Ozzie for this pick. I didn't see anything on his tape to suggest he'd be a successful NFL player. Seriously, what did he ever do well at Boise State? Run a little faster than most in MWC?? Ok.
I hope he doesn't take a roster spot of a more deserving player next year just because he's a former high pick. He sucks and wasn't very good in college honestly. At the time I though it was the strangest pick ever made by Ozzie, I just didn't see anything. Maybe he can get better, I don't think so, but we'll see. Pretty crazy we might have used a 2nd rounder on a guy who doesn't even look like a decent backup or special teamer.
It's super annoying losing like this, especially to the Steelers. But on the bright side we weren't going to win it all and now we have a better pick. We have a lot of young talent. If we can add another good OL, WR, CB and OLB then it's a really talented team, but if Marty or Pees is still there they'll screw it up
One win against a good team all season. Nice.
I hate our coordinators.
Can't imagine how Jimmy is feeling right now.
Same issues different year
Howard is a beast, if I wanted a TE in the 1st I'd be all over him. But the front office has invested an insane amount into TE and they can't continue doing that while ignoring certain positions year after year. I'd prefer to cut Pitta and Watson (wow those were bad contracts) then just roll with Williams, Gillmore, Boyle and Waller.

I really disagree. Almost every year WR is thin and they rely too heavily on a couple guys stepping up or staying healthy. Wallace is good, but will be 31 next season. Receivers usually start losing speed around 30 and that's mostly what Wallace brings to the table. I'm a huge fan of Perriman's potential, but he's not good yet and relying on our ability to develop that position has rarely worked. Aiken is a reliable target, but very average. So imo the starters look pretty meh and there's little depth. Camp hasn't shown he can stay healthy for longer than a few game span and Moore hasn't done anything. Ozzie will probably sign a vet, but it'll be a cheap stop gap and some more talented youth would be welcomed. Besides, most WR's take a little while longer to develop. Flacco is the only top-tierish QB in the league who doesn't get a lot of investment in his weapons.

Do you ignore CB if Jimmy gets hurt, or ignore the interior O-line I think we need a pass rusher in the top 2 picks so what do you suggest. Antonio Brown was a 6th round pick they can be found and developed. Street ear was a specimen 6-5 220-225 with 4.3 speed he just couldn't catch that pick was worth the gamble it just didn't work out. I'm not huge on Hunter but where else do you go. If we keep Wallace and Aiken and Camp stays healthy ( I know a big if ) and who knows will SSS stay one more year.
Ravens should have four picks in the first three rounds, with a comp from KO. I know the whole BPA spiel, but we really really need to address OL, WR, OLB and CB. I hope we do that with those picks
Weddle is the only snub, though it's a big one. Jimmy would have had a strong case if he didn't miss games. Williams was probably outside of the top 20 DT's honestly. His impact is really overrated by some here.

I don't blame him for not wanting to be another Jaylon Smith

I don't like Charles Harris, Smoot, and Phillips at all - and the last two won't be BPA in the late teens/early 20s most likely. Some CB will fall victim to the stacked class and will be available where we are and I don't see a scenario in which they won't be BPA unless someone falls way down to our pick.
This edge class is pretty stacked early. There's still guys like Lawson, McKinley and Anderson who are 1st rounders too.
I feel like the Ravens always suck on primetime
Arkansas center Frank Ragnow doesn't get talked about enough. He's really really good and it sounds like he might declare.

I agree on Pitta, his presence is limiting the offense.Flacco needs a guy who's great after the catch. I know its been rare, but I could actually see a high pick used on a playmaker. Harbs job may be riding on the offenses success. I know personnel is up to Ozzie, but John has gotta be pounding the table for some big investment into that side of the ball just of fear for job security.
