  1. Watching our secondary battle versus these AFC North receivers and tight ends is going to be fun to watch
  2. Love white he's underrated
  3. So maybe Humphrey was rated higher
  4. I know the secondary had some issues, but I'm not sure if getting four really good corners and three good safeties needed to be such a huge priority this off-season
  5. Foster, Howard, Allen, Hooker
  6. This is really interesting we're gonna get a great player 16... or Ozzie will trade back
  7. I think Cinci is aware how very average Dalton is
  8. It's almost that time... 1 Cleveland - Myles Garrett DE 2 SF - Jamal Adams S 3 Chicago - Malik Hooker S 4 Jax - Leonard Fournette RB 5 Tenn - Marshon Lattimore CB 6 *Cleveland - Mitch Trubisky QB 7 LAC - Solomon Thomas DE 8 Carolina - Christian McCaffrey RB 9 Cinci - Haason Reddick OLB 10 Buffalo - OJ Howard TE 11 NO - Rueben Foster LB 12 *NYJ - Deshaun Watson QB 13 Arizona - Patrick Mahomes QB 14 Philly - Gareon Conley CB 15 Indi - Jonathan Allen DE 16 Baltimore - Mike Williams WR 17 Washington - Dalvin Cook RB 18 Tenn - Corey Davis WR 19 Tampa Bay - David Njoku TE 20 Denver - Ryan Ramzcyk OT 21 Detroit - Charles Harris DE 22 Miami - Derek Barnett DE 23 NYG - Forrest Lamp OL 24 Oakland - Marlon Humphrey CB 25 Houston - Cam Robinson OL 26 Seattle - Garett Bolles OT 27 KC - Jarrad Davis LB 28 Dallas - Taco Charlton DE 29 GB - Takkarist McKinley OLB 30 Pitt - Jabrill Peppers S 31 ATL - Chidobe Awuzie CB 32 NO - Tre'Davious White CB Ravens selections: 1st Round: Mike Williams | WR | Clemson Williams could obviously go earlier, but he could also fall due to some rising QB's and a number of great defenders. One of Williams or Davis should be there at 16 if the Ravens want one of them. Mike Williams will always have his weaknesses but his strengths are so overwhelming. He's built like a power forward with his size and wingspan. Has an elite ability to position his body, time his jump and come down with the ball. Speed is decent enough for his size. He's the ideal 3rd down and red zone target for Flacco and there's a lot of Alshon Jeffrey to his game. Williams is battle tested in big moments and has performed well versus the top DB's college has to offer. 2nd: Dion Dawkins | OL | Temple I would think offensive line is the biggest priority to get a starter at. Dawkins played tackle at Temple, and his best fit may be inside. The team wants to get bigger up front and Dawkins would provide some much needed power to the run game. Dawkins is athletic enough to be a good pass protector as well, particularly in the interior. He and Lewis' versatility would be valuable. Those two along with Stanley are great young pieces to put with Yanda. The team likes Temple players as well. 3rd: Derek Rivers | OLB | Youngstown State Rivers checks off the small school player criteria of elite production. He jumps off the tape with his athleticism. Shows good bend around the corner and wins with explosion, leverage and power. The step up in competition will be steep, but I think the potential is there for him to be really good. The Ravens are great at developing athletic linebackers like Rivers. Waiting this long to address pass rusher isn't ideal, but the offense could take precedence as they are currently lightyears behind the defense. I do like the depth at OLB in the first few rounds too. I hope we come away with a guy like Rivers, Lawson, Williams, Bowser or even Basham. This could also depend on how the team views Judon's potential. I wouldn't count on Z Smith making an impact, but don't forget Kaufusi is also an option to play some there in a four man front. 3rd Round: Rasul Douglas | CB | West Virginia Douglas is a long corner with great ball skills. His instincts and awareness put him in good position and allow him to create a lot of turnovers. He will need to be protected over top a bit because of some stiffness and lack of long speed, but he has the ability to be a playmaking outside CB. Great fit in Pees' zone defense and he has the size and physicality to grow in press man. 4th Round: Ejaun Price | OLB | Pittsburgh Price is one of the rare short edge rushers I actually like. He makes up for his stature by having long arms and winning the leverage battle. Off the line he's explosive and very powerful engaging blockers. He'll probably never be a full time player, but could be quite valuable in a Dumervil esque role. Ozzie may look to double dip at edge rusher considering Judon is really the only future option and it is a pretty good class. Despite the size limitation, I think Price's game translates to the next level. 5th Round: Jon Toth | C | Kentucky Developmental center with the power to make become an impact run defender. Dawkins and Toth are both the type of linemen that D'Alessandris does well with. 6th: Blair Brown | ILB | Ohio Undersized linebacker with toughness and instincts. He may always be a rotational backer, but can be a good one. Unless Foster falls to 16, a rotation next to Mosley is probably the way to go.
  9. Probably not. I didn't want to include trades, but I think there's a good chance we move back early to get an extra say mid rounder. In this situation I would have traded back from our 2nd then used that extra pick to trade up for Rivers
  10. Bengals could take him too, would fill their LB and pass rusher need. Guys who are as athletic as Von Miller with that kind of production and versatility don't fall far.
  11. Ya he's a wild card. Eagles are the one team I could see taking him that high though. If they pass on him, in this situation I think they'd take Humphrey or Barnett
  12. I see a lot of Alshon in Williams. Jordy Nelson probably the closest to Davis. If I keep going Desean Jackson to Ross.
  13. With the 42nd pick the New Orleans Saints select Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss
  14. Forrest Lamp Ryan Ramczyk Cam Robinson Pat Elflein Dion Dawkins Taylor Moton Jermaine Elumenor Chase Roullier Jon Toth Jordan Morgan Mike Williams Corey Davis Taywan Taylor Juju Smith-Schuster Isaiah Ford Zay Jones Cooper Kupp Takk McKinley Tim Williams Carl Lawson Derek Rivers Tyus Bowser Ejaun Price Tanzel Smart Jarron Jones Reuben Foster Blair Brown Shaquill Griffin Howard Wilson Ahkello Witherspoon Damontae Kazee Rasul Douglas
  15. 1. WR - Flacco needs better than just decent receivers. It's also the one position the Ravens can't draft well and getting one of the top, more established ones would be more ideal imo. The FO has shown they can find and develop OL and pass rushers in almost every round, not WRs though. Perriman is the only even semi-dependable receiver for the future. 2. Edge - A consistent presence off the edge could make this defense elite. Suggs is getting older and playing less. Judon is the only future piece there. 3. OL - Must find a new starter at LG/RT. Center could use an upgrade too, especially vs the run. Yanda, Stanley and Lewis is a really good start though. 4. CB - There's actually a lot of talent here. Just age and injury concerns. So many good corners in this class.
  16. Yeah I think reddick would be fine here. He can play the edge standing up and he fits perfectly in the 4-3 base and 4-3 under. 4-3 under is probably the ideal fit with him playing a Bruce Irvin like role. I think he'll develop into a dangerous double threat in coverage and rushing the passer. Not great against the run, but that's not what the defense needs. It's scary how athletically similar Reddick is to Von Miller
  17. Davis, Reddick or Barnett
  18. Really like the first four players. Griffin doesn't get enough love here
  19. 1 Corey Davis 2 Carl Lawson 3 Pat Elflein 3 Ahkello Witherspoon
  20. The thing about all these mock drafts from media and online forums, is that they're all basically the same. And for the past three years no one has correctly projected even the Ravens first two picks. No one ever mocked Stanley or Perriman, and Mosley was rare. Never saw Jernigan or Correa linked to us either. Even third rounders, like Kaufusi and Carl Davis were barely mentioned on here. The funny thing is, despite the lack of attention, these were almost immediately hailed as good picks, especially by people here. The Ravens have shown they will go away from big needs at times and is one of the very few teams that doesn't use a national scouting service. So their drafts often look different from conventional mocks and big boards. So with that, who are some early round under the radar picks you think could happen? Here's some I came up with: - Forrest Lamp: I think he's easily the best o-lineman and can play OT more than fine - Dan Feeney - OJ Howard & David Njoku: May be too good to pass up - Curtis Samuel: Baltimore isn't the best fit for raw and athletic receivers, but he could be really good - Charles Harris: Would probably have had a much better year if Mizzou didn't lose its great DL coach and completely change its defensive scheme - Haason Reddick - Chris Wormley - Teez Tabor: Could be had later than perviously thought due to his slow 40 time - Cordrea Tankersley: A bit stiff, but he's 6'1'' and runs a 4.4 flat with seem decent tape vs top competition, how is he not getting more attention? - Jourdan Lewis: So good. 5'10'', but plays big
  21. He'd be a good 3rd round pick. Same with Taywan Taylor who doesn't get enough love imo
  22. Peppers or a CB not named Marshon. Even though I really like Conley and White in particular, I also like what there is at the position and we need to address something other than DB. I think the 3rd or 4th round, possibly 2nd is the time to grab a CB. Peppers imo, other than his return and offensive abilty, doesn't provide the team with anything it doesn't already have for the next 4 years.
  23. Apparently McDowell has been awful in interviews. Work ethic is definitely a question mark and the inconsistencies show up on tape. But he is one of the 5 most talented players in this class imo
  24. Saints select Austin Rehkow, P, Idaho
  25. Saints select Jordan Evans, LB, Oklahoma
