  1. There should be accountability for the mistakes these idiots make. There is way too much at stake for such amateurish officiating. In cases like this, where the play was clearly dead and nothing else was going to happen, it should be easy to reverse it. This should be discussed in the off-season when they review the rules.
  2. Flags and penalties, penalties and flags...nothing else holds fashion (I'm egregiously paraphrasing Shakespeare here) Seriously, the stupid, ridiculous, inexcusable penalties are going to kill this team. Are we stupid?? Are we just that stupid????
  3. His good spirits don't do a thing for us. Another no-news article, Castle-fed.
  4. Steve Smith Sr. is without a doubt my favorite player in all my years of watching the Ravens. I just love his passion, his energy, his devotion to the game, and he has such an amazing smile! I really love honest people and this guy has no b.s. with him. I hope and pray he comes back and has an awesome final season! If not, I'm grateful we had him as long as we had him.
  5. Such a huge void in our offense now...You can't replace a Steve Smith. He is the embodiment of what it means to play like a Raven. Now the others have to step up and show that they can do it, too.
  6. It has become almost unwatchable. I notice my profanity use goes up every time the refs blow the whistle and a flag is thrown. Then they have to trot out Mike Carey or Dean Blandino to just explain the stupid thing. Some are necessary - I get that - but what amazes me is when there is blatant pass interference and nothing gets called. Bill Polian said the holding penalties need to be pared down. People come to watch the quarterback, not the offensive linemen. QB's need protection. But everytime you turn around, someone is called for holding.
  7. Watch Jacoby get his first big run-back of the season on us. That's just the way our luck is going.
  8. We sure could use someone with that kind of passion and work ethic now! Is there another Ray Lewis out there??
  9. The officiating was TERRIBLE in this game, and I hope there are some repercussions. That said, we still stunk the place up. We were in the game, but could not wrap it up. Terribly frustrating. I think I may have to stop watching for my own health.
  10. It sure seems like it. I can't keep watching this, I'm going to have a stroke or a heart attack.
  11. I would make every aspect of the team 5% better. Then we would have won all those games, not lost them. We didn't lose any of them by much, you know.
  12. I agree - I'm tired of Harbaugh's defensive stance. I would like to hear him apologize to the fans for once, as he fails to prepare his team to play week after abysmal week.
  13. I am certainly no football guru, but after we lost three games in the pre-season I said, "If we get down to the third guys on the depth chart, we're in trouble." And we did. They just can't cut it for some reason. I don't know if it's unlucky drafting, poor preparation, or attitude, but this team of back-ups can't rise to the occasion. At least they haven't yet.
  14. That is my question. How in the world do the Patriots do it? They are at the top of the heap every single season, so one would logically think they would be strapped just like the Ravens. Yet, somehow, they have the magic formula and make it work every single season. The Packers would be another example. I understand their players love it there so much, they just plain don't WANT to leave. The injury bug has bit us hard this year, but we haven't lost Joe yet. He just doesn't have anyone to throw to. I had never heard of Darren Waller until we played the Browns, and I understand he is injured now too. That makes me really wonder about our strength and conditioning staff. I'm sure they're looking at everything. Bisciotti does not like losing. But it sure is frustrating.
  15. That is so funny! I doubt it, the 49ers have enough problems!
  16. Re-sign Torrey and Anquan! We saved cap money cutting Ngata and Jacoby Jones....I'm sure Torrey would love to come back.
  17. I sat in the stadium and watched that sorry loss, and the stadium was as flat as I've ever seen it. It seems like the fans have lost faith in the team, no matter what Harbaugh says.
  18. Part of the reason they haven't had much production might be because their quarterback can't get the ball to them. The great find of Jim Harbaugh, Colin Kaepernick, is turning out to be a dud. I won't second-guess Ozzie too much, I'm not a GM, but I still think they should have found a way to keep Boldin. Every time Joe finds chemistry with a receiver, they end up letting them go because they think they cost too much.
  19. Scott Garceau of 105.7 "The Fan" suggested that it might be a good idea to try to trade for Anquan Boldin, who isn't looking too happy playing for the 49ers. I think that would be a great idea! I wonder if someone could put a bug in Ozzie's ear? It would be great to have Q back. The team just hasn't been the same since he left.
  20. I love Steve Smith!! Please get well soon.
  21. The Steelers exacted their vengeance. We may have won the battle, but let's hope we don't lose the war.
  22. The Ravens don't win pretty, but at least this time, they won, when they needed it desperately. I just hope Steve Smith and Campanaro aren't out for the next game due to their injuries. otherwise, it'll be sooo tough.
  23. I don't understand Harbs saying "I have no idea what you're talking about," when asked about Perriman's injury. It is obvious the guy isn't playing. I think the fans have a right to know what's going on.
  24. Where would we be without Steve Smith Sr.???? At least if we lose, we lose with dignity. He is AWESOME!!!!
  25. Totally agree with this assessment. I wonder how Belichick does it year after year?
