yup@jimmyblack...thats a good deal...remember the effort on that run in the last minutes of the Pitt game...he's better than our 3rd RB or at least more durable...we could get a through a game at RB if west or dixon went down. I would dare say he could spell the no.1 RB if we needed him to.
if he can help them get 27 pts. in most games then they only have to worry about the D. I think thats a bigger problem. and you have to make West the 1RB, and use dixon in tandem...and stop that Pitch play...when were down we need an OC that can generate an Offensive spark or have an RB that can go 4th and 28.
yeah...you couldn't deny the chemistry between boldin and Joe...the late game heroics was a result of those 2...it takes a special guy to catch the ball no matter how and where you throw it...they took over a lot of games...during that SB run.
wallace, aiken, pitta, perriman...but Joe has to be on point...their were games...outta of desperation he was getting those guys hammered. If watson comes back Joe will have a decent core to throw too if you add waller.
if juice is used correctly with better play calling and timing from Joe he could be a real threat...often times Joe gives him the ball too late, and he can't do much after the catch...and in a crunch as seen in the Pitt. game, he could be used as an RB if needed...i just think with the market he has more value to keep then let go.
the prevent D wasn't the best idea...but that loss was a a result of poor tackling. weddle -Safety...the very positions means your the last line of defense. and mosley instead of trying to make the big hit wrap-up and drive him back. we almost lost to philly with the same scenario. the end of the games players just are not playing situational football.
yeah ray didn't throw the touchdowns, and he admitted he didn't have much left, but when he suited up the team including Joe was ready...he told Joe lead us...granted a call to joe saying hey man gettin it done my have worked better...but lets not forget it was the toughnest of Boldin and Jacoby that help win that game...oh and a threat a running back named Ray Rice...it was 4th and 28 that started that run...the playoff hopes were over if it were not for that play.
he's going to practice and play hard...the ravens wanted him and he wanted and hoped to be here 2 yrs ago. the back office and coach know how to shape young guys.
this is a move for the 2nd stretch...ravens are going to finese teams with forsett and punish them with allen and west in the run game. aiken, givens, morgan and west and the TE. they are trying to equip joe to make a run!
