I know I'm getting too optimistic about the players who could fall to us in round 2.  Who would you want the most?  Spence? Jack? Others?

Cravens would be my guy but Jack, Dodd. Spence would be cool.

Maybe the FO would consider Fuller or Alexander

  2. Digging it!!! Hit the major areas of need, IMO and that's OL (especially a potential replacement for Monroe, this yr or next if we drop him), CB (although Alexander isn't my fav, he's good value and worth the pick). Speed/athleticism in the middle of the field: off - Shepard, def - Jones. And pass rush with Jenkins (Correa or Fackrell or Ochi perhaps Ngakoue) could maybe work in the 4th...but overall great realistic mock!!!

  3. More of a Buckner fan than Bosa, but ok. Fuller is hard to say...saw some of his tape, he's been toasted but played weoll mostly, coach'em up and he could be a pro bowler. Cravens' pick is BIG...if no Myles Jack, this kid's athleticism in the midfield would be huge plus. I see Lawler being a contributor, NFL talent is there.

  4. Predictions in sports, especially pro football, even simple questions of can and will a team make the post-season is a waste of time. Sure it fun for idle chat like at the barbershop/coffee breaks but sports analysts/commentators...why?

#1 and foremost...injuries, of course always unforeseeable...devastating our injury woes were this yr. Look at SD's O-line/K. Allen or Romo/Dez or Big Ben/LeVeon or Dalton or Jordy Nelson or Luck or Edelman, etc...etc..? They are season altering. Beginning of every season/camp..."we're finally healthy; we're getting healthy...." then BAM! Add to that: draft outcome, free agency, retirements (ask SF), trades, a key player having a down year like Matt Ryan, and other teams success no matter your record like a 2013 AZ team out the playoffs with a 10-6 record (T-5th best record in the NFC) Anything can happen at any time, so no point speculating esp. in January if we can or will make the playoffs.

  5. ...except for the fact that Upshaw is still a terrible pass rusher, that shouldn't be news to anyone. Literally his ONLY value comes from setting the edge in the run D. Are you new here?

Not new at all, often I've noticed the little snide comments ppl post especially with conflicting points of view. Weak like the others. Ravens value flexibility and if he can't offer pass rush from the OLB, just edge-setting, why not experiment being he has the size and strength. All I'm saying. You disagree, no probs.
