  1. That cheap eye poke on Joe was pretty bad. So were the no calls on pass interference. The officials were pretty bad. Jason Garrett will figure out how to blow it in the end. He's really bad but anyone can get lucky. Brian Billick did. Other than that, i agree 100%.
  2. We get into FG position and someone messes up and we end up going backwards. It's gone that way all year. We're not winning ugly as in the past....We're losing ugly.
  3. Get Joe some protection and we might make it. Three lucky wins out of seven. We are weak at critical positions. Old at some others. I have faith, but it will only get us so far. It comes down to one on ones. We're coming up short this year. 8-8 will be an accomplishment considering.
  4. I'm staying with Flacco but keep him out until we are healthy. It took the Ravens years to get a decent QB after dumping Vinnie because he had a sub par season. Kyle was a bust. Good QB's are hard to come by. Remember that Flacco and good coaching has served us well. Right now it's injuries and poor assistant coaching that are hurting us offensively. No wonder Joe is so off balance. Hope the bye turns out to be a blessing.
  5. I know Brady lost quite a bit of cash giving the Pats a home town deal. Manning lost 4 million in Denver. So Joe will make over 28 mil this season by doing the same. Great. You got my vote partner. -1
  6. Better take the OT in round one. I don't see the good OT's lasting into round 2. A promising CB could be there into round 3.
  7. It would be nice to get a full season out of our RB's next year. I think Buck and Justin compliment each other well. Add Juice to the mix and we can cut, slash, pound and have a reliable go to receiver as an out if needed. Trestman needs to rotate his RB's more if they remain healthy next year. That can lower the odds of injuries. We don't have an Earl Campbell or Jim Brown to put the hurting on whoever gets in their way.
  8. How profound Ravenpic! The struggle getting LOT Bryant McKinnie into shape for the playoffs to guard Joe's blind side was worth the price. McKinnie wasn't worth keeping although KO IMO is.
  9. Tucker had a great year, but to us we were so use to him hitting the 50 plus yarders that I gives us a false impression of his season. He kicks the straightest ball of any kicker and it was beneficial to our draft position that he missed a few long FG's that may have pushed us further down in the draft. Our biggest success from the past season is our position in the draft (could have been even better). With the shape we're in with FA's, Tucker and Kelechi are must signs IMO.
  10. Wasn't Mallett in constant contact with Schaub. Am I wrong? Wasn't that Schaub coaching him. They were both with Texans. This was run and shoot. Quick passes over the middle opening run lanes. Occasional deep ball. I think Schaub was telling Mallett how to read the defense. Trestman called the plays. Keep Schaub coaching. This was beautiful.
  11. Don't miss it. The Carolina Panthers are undefeated. That should be the focus of talk with Steve. We missed so much this season because of injuries. I would like to have him back next year.
  12. Can Schaub do what Earl Morrall did for the Baltimore Colts? 9-7 might get into the playoffs. Too bad the Browns are not worth considering as a worthy opponent. We learned very little that we didn't already know about special teams.
  13. Top draft pick is now priority. Let's be real. History implies that Irsay's team had coordinators calling the wrong plays......and did they get Andrew Luck? The Indi Coats players didn't matter in the equation. No players are asked to cheat. But how hard is it to win with the coordinators calling the wrong plays? LMAO.
  14. I still feel Ozzie will dig up something. We have enough personnel depth to move one player to make room on the roster for a kick returner. Do nothing and I expect Webb or Smith Sr to end up there by default.
  15. We've picked up some of the Giants former players too. If there is a pipeline it goes to Cleveland. They look at everything we let go.
  16. "Just like Chykie, Asa will get picked up as soon as he is cut if he is released. Bet on it." I got one thumbs down for being right. He even went to the same team as Chykie.
  17. Asa gave it his best effort. The Ravens need to look further for the answer. Bring in some help. Can't risk Smith Sr at P/KR even though he would probable love to do it.
  18. Worth a look at least. The past (fumbles) always is a concern but sometimes a change in location makes a big difference. He could have a comeback season. Let Rossburg be the judge.
  19. We need to look at everyone available for a return specialist. The fact is Asa should have taken that return to the house and didn't. He was gassed at about the 20 and noticeably slowed down. Go get him Ozzie.
  20. Yet we may have lost a game or 2 last season by going for it on 4th down and failing to convert instead of taking the easy 3 point FG. Hard to figure out where the Ravens stand on this one. Stan White was correct during game commentary that if Flacco were in at QB instead of a washed up Matt Schaub we'd have had a much better chance at scoring on the 4th and goal situation.
  21. I'm not sold on Asa as a kick returner. He looked gassed at the 20 yard line during his 103 yard non TD return. That return should have been taken in for the TD. You win or lose at least a game or 2 or 3 with special teams. SS Sr looks like the quickest man on the offense. Can't risk using him. Trade time Ozzie? Maybe so.
  22. Our WR's are giving their best stuff. Trestman has everyone involved. I'm waiting to see if the Eagles are as good a host to the Ravens as the Ravens were to the 49er's last year. Good practice competition.
  23. I hope he scores the winning TD in Super Bowl 50. That would be one of the greatest endings in NFL history.
  24. Yep...he is serious. I hope he scores the winning TD in Super Bowl 50. What a way to go...
  25. A firecracker in his pants......that was awesome
