  1. This was a great article
  2. Damn!!! Get that cash Mr. Wagner
  3. I have no problems with any player trying to cash in. The NFL is the only sport that doesn't have guaranteed contracts and the shelf life of a player isn't that long. Get what you can get while you can get it. As Ravens fans we've seen this movie way too many times..grooming a player just to see them go elsewhere and sign with another team. That's what happens when you draft good players.
  4. Those 2 were bad signings which is one of the factors of why we're in our current cap situation...bad signings and bad contracts.
  5. We would've beat the Dolphins but lost to KC imo
  6. I would love to have Brandon back. He's a baller but we all know we can't afford to keep everybody especially with the multiple holes we have to fill.
  7. I'm tired of us getting these veteran receivers every 3 or so years. We have to get it right when it becomes to drafting a wr and groom him in our system. Every other team in our division have no problem drafting receivers besides us. There's some talent in this draft.
  8. Yes Juice would've been the hero if we pulled that game out but we didn't unfortunately. That was one hell of a run. Truck stick the safety and dives in the endzone...a thing of beauty. I'm still hurting over that game. No way we shouldn't have walked out of that stadium with the W.
  9. So I guess Buck Allen is either trade bait or just relegated to special teams and the 3rd string running back in case one of the two gets injured.
  10. We all see that the potential is there for this guy. He has to just stay humble and keep working. I'm excited to see what the future holds for him in a Ravens uniform. I admit I was one of the people that has been disappointed in him since he's been drafted but it wasn't his fault that he had to deal with injuries and things happening in his personal life outside of football. This is technically his rookie year so we have to be patient despite the high expectations of being a 1st round draft pick. Those expectations comes with the territory.
  11. Tavon Young, Matt Judon and Michael Pierce are the 3 rookies that are stepping up for us along with Stanley who has missed some games and Alex Lewis who unfortunately got injured and may miss some games. I hope Correa becomes a player for us down the road. Like the article mentioned, we have to win at least one of the games against the Bengals who has our number the way we have the Steelers number. First thing first, lets take care of business in Dallas.
  12. My prayers are with this gentleman and his family.
  13. Thanks Dallas!!! Now yall have to deal with a team who can stop the run.
  14. I'll chalk this one up to rust but it's not secret he has to perform better and I'm sure he will. He only can get better.
  15. OK the slide was bad but I seen Joe slide plenty of times, the grass caught it no big deal but that onside kick is a different story. I get what he was trying to do but don't do that unless you have that style of kick down to a science. Now you look like a MORON like Eric Weddle said. Couldn't imagine where we would be if we didn't have Mr. Wallace. The boy Tavon Young is BALLIN!! We may have found a corner finally. Keep Shareece Wright on the bench, don't even use him for nickel and dime packages.
  16. I loved every second of the way the D dominated that team from Pa. We all would've loved a shutout but a W is a W(that sounds so cliché for this team this year). No one has been able to run on us all year that's why I was so surprised that Matt Forte had the game he had against us but Le'Veon felt out frustration. He did absolutely NOTHING!!! I love our special teams units. We got to have the best special teams coach. I been watching football ever since I came out the wound and I never seen one team block so many kicks the way we do. That's good for us because teams have to take time out their day and practice or simulate the things we do but it just seems like Coach comes up with different schemes each week. I'll give Stanley a pass but he must play better that's for sure. Our defensive skilled position guys need to hit the jugs machine and do pushups on the field for every dropped interception. We're not that good of a team to be dropping balls like that and giving teams more opportunities. Imagine what the score would've been if we caught those. As far as the running game, we didn't get much but at least we continued to run the ball and was more balanced. That's all we been asking for as fans. It eats up time and keeps the other teams offense off the field. That'll work in our favor as long as we get points out the drive..preferably touchdowns.
  17. I like the quote by Brandon. Despite dropping 3 easy int's the defense was great. I'll take a win but I would've loved to shut them out. The offense has to get it together seriously...nothing has changed even after a bye week.
  18. We've seen Joe slide many times before, that was just one bad slide but I'll take that slide over that failed onside kick attempt any day.
  19. It'll only be right if Mr. Wallace has a career game against his former team. I need 3 td's
  20. As crazy as it sounds, I'm siding with Qadry on this one. I think we can become 7-5 after these games but will we do it is the magic question. The best team out of all of them imo is Dallas.
  21. Taking nothing away from Tucker who's debatable the best kicker in the league but what does it say about your football team when the clear cut MVP of your team right now and possibly for the season is your kicker.
  22. I love what the Ravens organization does for the community. Class personified
  23. For some reason when I first saw this article I was thinking it was going to say something to the effect of how the Cleveland Cavaliers and the NBA talked to MLB and the Indians on adjusting the time of their basketball game so it won't start the exact same time as the World Series. Of course I'm referring to a couple years ago when the Ravens and Orioles couldn't come up with a solution to have a football and baseball game both being played on the same day. Granted this is the NBA and MLB instead of the MLB and NFL but I still feel cheated that we didn't get that game here to this day eventhough it was years ago.
  24. I always said I don't think Brandon Williams(my cousin because of the same last name) won't be back here although he's one of the fan favorites because he's just a all around good guy. Rothliesberger is a drama queen and diva when it comes to injuries..every year he walks around like he's hurt badly just to end up playing the next week..he's been doing this for years and I'm glad the mad backer Bart Scott calls him out on it but we're not falling for it. It wouldn't surprise me if he plays. Sit Hester down and let Camp be our specialists and be our 3rd wr if he can stay healthy for a change. I wish I was as optimistic as a lot of other people thinking we can potentially get up to 9 wins. Why is all of these different articles coming out talking about a increased workload for Kenneth Dixon? Terrance West has been running the ball ok for the amount of carries he's getting. Am I missing something here or the front office is slowly but surely trying to make Dixon the starting rb?
  25. You gotta understand Seattle was capable of signing all of them guys to new deals(except Wagner because he was the last one to get paid after Wilson if I remember correctly) because Wilson was still getting paid under his rookie contract. That's why Bennett wants a new deal and Chancellor held out a few games last year for the same thing. On the other hand we have gave out some bad contracts as of late over the years that has us in a bad cap situation for next year and following years. Webb and Jimmy Smith are overpaid, Suggs and Doom are making good money but they're aging, no need to discuss Flacco's contract, Tucker is worth every penny, don't understand why we resigned Shareece Wright, Yanda isn't playing like the Yanda we all know and Weddle is performing like he's suppose to.
