Yeah, I'll give Schaub some credit. He wasn't perfect, but he played like a decent backup.

Don't forget that our receiving core is still horrible so Schuab didnt have much to work with.

I'm still shocked at how many interceptions both teams dropped. Schaub nearly gifted the Browns like five interceptions in total. He was really off the mark for most of the night. 

Mosley and Webb both dropped two big interceptions from what I saw.

Wright had almost had two.

Ugh. Buck averaged 4.6yac and West had 5.3! But they only had 19 carries combined. 

And that is with a banged up O-line.

I think McCown is scarier than Tannehil but I expect Landry to do a lot of damage. 

If you need 33 points to win a game. Matt Schuab isnt the problem. We had the same discussion about Joe.

Gonna be brave here.

Schuab Played Well.

He was pretty darn decent until we had to rely on him to win because our defense is allergic to leads and to be honest we was still decent enough at that point.

But once again our defense loses leads and Trestmen abandons the run which leads to interceptions no matter if you're Peyton Manning, Joe Flacco or Matt Schuab.

Odd how he drops perfectly placed passes all year then catches the high and low ones tonight.

The passes that go right to him he lets them hit him in the chest and they bounce off but if the pass is out then he actually attacks the ball with his hands.

This win was a nice watch but Sami is right. It only hurts us in the long run.

Can't Believe I forgot to mention Aiken. He caught Schuabs wonky throws all night long and did a lot with a little. 

You know, Harbaugh wasn't lying about Schuab having a great week of practice.

I'm sure every QB could have a great week of practice against our secondary.

They come out hot after they fire a coach

Yeah yeah Will HIll and Urban make the big play but Shareece Wright is my MVP.

Schaub is still Schaub but what I learned:

 

*Trestman's playcalling suits a QB like Schaub. That dink and dunk. He doesn't know what to do or how to use Flacco's arm.

*I'd rather roll with a tandem of Allen/West next year than Forsett.

*Will Hill may not be "elite" but he is pretty darn good.

*Urban stepping up

*Defense once again can't stop my grandmother in the 4th. Don't understand why Pees is still here anymore.

Well Trestman has been forced to run Kubiaks System. It should be a no brainer that Schuab knows how to run Kubiaks system..

• Webbs tackling was nice to watch but he still allowed way too many completions.
• James Hurst is still not an NFL player.
• Buck Allen and Terrence West were fantastic but the Running game was dead and forgotten like usual.'
• Shareece Wright was our best corner today. I loved his play.
• Jimmy Smith is still showing me NOTHING.
• C.J Mosley played lovely again but he got abused in coverage. Peas has to scheme around his weakness. The Browns were able to put Mosley on Duke Johnson Multiples times. Opposing OCs should not be able to X and O our defense like that.
• Daryl Smith missed a few tackles and I'm sure contributed to Barnidge being wide open.
  • Matt Schuab is Matt Schuab. Not much else to say. He had a  95 rating at one point but if you need 28 points from Schuab to win. You already lost.​
• You already know how I feel about Kendrick Lewis. Please. Please. Remove him.
• I'd be comfortable cutting Forsett lose and riding with Allen and West. I know we could use that 3mil elsewhere.
• Jernigan played well , Upshaw was alright and Canty too. Pass Rush was on fire at times and ghost at others.
• Brent Urban is Elite.

We're relying on Schuab to win this game for us. We've already lost.

I'm almost impressed that Peas has managed to blow every single fourth quarter lead we've ever had.

I love how our defense gets as games go one.

Harbuagh wasn't lying when he said Schuab had a good week of pratice. Its just that our secondary is gosh awful.

Maxx is starting to scare me  a little as it is shaping up to look like he may be injury prone.

I think he's just young and needs an NFL body. He should be okay.

Fourth and Five with 2 minutes left. Time to play defense?

Nah okay.

Dwayne Bowe is basically their Eugene Monroe.

Shareece Wright is gonna be our top graded player. Guaranteed.
