    he is insurance in case something happens to will hill since they both play FS and probably also insurance elam doesn't take the next step like is expected.

     

    also he adds depth since brooks wont be back in time .

     

     

    Very True but considering Kendrick's salary and Elam's current play I'd SS is Kendrick's spot to lose.

    People calling for us to trade Elam are probably the same people that asked for us to trade Jimmy back before the 2013 season.

    I agree that trading Elam is ridiculous , unless it's an offer you can't refuse, but Elam's and Jimmy's situations aren't very comparable IMHO.

    Jimmy had injuries and didn't get the playing time to work out kinks and couldn't get in rhythm. Even at that at worst he was a little below average.

    Elam, although healthy , hasn't shown the flash , the spark and the mean streak. When's the last time Elam laid somebody out , let alone didn't miss a tackle.

    Miami is really getting on my nerves.

    Really? I love all the AFC East teams bulking up and Patriots seemingly getting worse.

    We've lost some players but Pats lost both starting corners. Phins get Sub to stomp on Brady. Jets get a top 3 secondary over night, and the bills are still a scary D-line.

    Saints have Kenny Stills on the trading block according to several sites. Is he a locker room cancer? he seems like he's worth a trade based on his field production.

    I don't think it has much to do with him. Rumour is that the saints are blowing it up , they're trading everyone they can. Ben Grubbs is on the block too , There's been rumors of phone calls for Brees too.

    I would give up on of our 4ths (of which there will be 3 including a comp pick) for Stills. I like his potential in our offense and he is the burner that we are now lacking and I thought he was small but he looks to be about Torrey's size. He is still playing out his rookie contract and costs less than 2 mil over the next 2 seasons. It allows us to trade AND sign AND draft a receiver and completely retool our WR corps...

    This. We need to go at Stills because he might be better than any receiver we could sign for how ever many millions PLUS he is 23 and will improve. His salary is the biggest selling point IMHO.

    Like we dong have enough draft picks to make this move.
