The Ravens have 5 fourth rounders an can use them to get developmental guys or role players who they can groom into future starters or quality depth. Remember, Mcphee and Malik Jackson were late rounders.
Development is just as important as draft acumen.
That being said Correa was a reach and won't be much better than Shea McClellen.
Drilling a diamond out of rock is much easier than killing dinosaurs and putting their bones under millions of pounds of pressure for 100 million years.
We have high picks in every round and still we've managed to not grab a single immediate contributor. We are not a team that has the luxary of waiting for production
Trading down is a good tool but if the players in the 2nd weren't worth picking why would they be worth picking in the 4th.

The player we pick will have been higher on our board
OLB or ILB??
When the players we want in the 4th aren't there just traded down until we own the entire 7th. It's fool proof
Don't forget , which ever corner we do take that nobody has heard of will be ' the highest on the board' .
Most likely ' rated higher than (insert better prospect)
Another year of waiting until the 4th round to address the secondary.

I really hope we get Deion Jones. He's more polished than Kwan Alexander was although less aggressive. An early 4th would be A++ value
Flacco hits 4k yards easily.
Defense will still be solid but continues to give up late game leads.
Flacco throws late game ints after defense gives up leads
Suggs returns to form setting the edge but has trouble getting pressure.
Injury bug still rampant.
Running game will be boom or bust every game.
Overall , 7-9
I'm still holding onto high hopes for Brooks. I'm confident we can put up a formidable pair of safeties with the guys we have on the roster.
CB needs love though.
Monroe will decide if he wants to play the rest of the season with his new shoulder injury.
Something tells me I already know his answer
Zach Orr who was an UDFA is clearly better than Arthur Brown.
Nice pick Ozzie.
Naw, let Schuab get us that top 10 pick
Nobody besides Yanda can stay healthy
Surprise surprise. Monroe isn't playing. What a guy
I'm only saying that there's valid concern surrounding his future and he may not pan out. It's something we need to realize is a distinct possibility.
Nope , cant say stuff like that. Not here, gotta be 100% positive. Terrence Brooks clearly is our best player.
He did miss 3 games in 3 years with Jacksonville.
He's beat that mark about every year with us.
I'm starting to think this is the truth. Nobody wants to admit it. I don't want to say it, either, but I think it's the elephant in the room.
Well then we need to look at Ozzie because that makes another washed pick.
Random thought , our team has become infamous for our injuries. Is it a coincidence that Monroe has been injured here and not in Jacksonville?
Is he simply a victim of something larger?
Don't expect Monroe this game either.
Well speaking of picks, can our secondary get some? I'm sure they're losing stickers with every dropped INT.
Yeah seriously, only so many gifts in the NFL and we keep giving them back.
Just get Flacco a decent QB coach to fix his habits.
- Miami ranks last in the league defending the run (32nd).
- We are (18th) and climbing running the ball.
- Miami ranks (17th) in passing offense and declining.
- We are (24th) in passing defense and thrending upward.
It we play Smash-mouth (Run and force them to do the same-style) we will be in a good position to get this one.
Yeah but the 2nd we lose the lead we probably stop running the ball.

Last year we waited until the 4th to draft a corner and we drafted Tr
ay Walker. (R.I.P) But I think we all remember he was far from being ready to contribute.
