I agree that trading Elam is ridiculous , unless it's an offer you can't refuse, but Elam's and Jimmy's situations aren't very comparable IMHO. Jimmy had injuries and didn't get the playing time to work out kinks and couldn't get in rhythm. Even at that at worst he was a little below average. Elam, although healthy , hasn't shown the flash , the spark and the mean streak. When's the last time Elam laid somebody out , let alone didn't miss a tackle.

This. We need to go at Stills because he might be better than any receiver we could sign for how ever many millions PLUS he is 23 and will improve. His salary is the biggest selling point IMHO. Like we dong have enough draft picks to make this move.

Kenny Stills is still in his rookie contract so it leaves out salary cap intact , improving and almost had 1000 yards last year. Clearly worth a 5th , 4th maybe both but not a 3rd.
