Big deal...The Broncos Steelers is the one I want to see. They were comparing the Broncos defense to the Ravens 2000. In that case.. Let's see the Broncos first shutout of the year. Didn't we have 4? Best ever are the 2000 Ravens defense.

And then change the team name to the Baltimore Dead Monies. Dead money is a direct result of decisions by a FO. No matter what the circumstances, it's a plain, simple fact. It's hard not to have some, but it really can hurt a team. 

One thought why was Butler not on the original 53 man roster, he seem to be doing a fine job a lot better than that kid Campanaro that's long gone. Another poor decision by coach H. I think Camp was maybe a coach favorite.

Camp is a decent player, if he can/will ever stay healthy. But, to answer your question......it's because they drafted him. To not stick w/a drafted player, usually way too long....is basically admitting you made a bad move. Hence.....they miss out on better players, just to prove a point. There are lots of fans on here that liked Butler from day one, in addition to other players. The WR group we have playing now may be the best we've fielded all year.

True...and it's just time for Ozzie to retire. Can't place all the blame on him, but it's time. Time for a lot of changes, as it's going to be a long time until this team gets back to respectability. It is what it is.....get used to it. Jockeying for draft position now....top five is looking real good. 4-12 at the finish. 

Someone said we have quitters on our team. I disagree I really think it is time to cut bait with Webb and Smith. They can't cover and are way too slow when they have to chase. Actually this team has no team speed at all. Everybody has out run us all year long.

If we cut everyone on this team that should be cut, we'd spend our entire cap on dead money. It's going to be a long, long road back to respectability. Years. And years. 

Why don't we start Renner? Clausen won't be here next season and we've all seen what Schaub's known for.

Nothing personal against Schaub, but I sure hope they can do better next year as far as a backup goes. He's just not the answer. He needs to ride off into the sunset. Giddy up!! 

Great....another 6'5 or 6'6 WR "big target" on the roster. Now tell me how many of those have done any good on this team. Ever. I agree that they "should", but....?

Hope I'm wrong, I really do, but this game will finally break the "streak" of "tight games". It might get downright ugly.

I, like others, also agree that something is up w/the officiating this season and even into last season. I'm not sure what to do to make it better, but the NFL is going to lose viewers. I happen to know a few people that have stopped watching. They have more than a few choice words when it comes to that subject, but that kind of language is frowned upon on here, as it should be. I do think it's time for the refs to be full time and to be held much more accountable for the job they do. Enough is enough.

I agree. Why don't we get Brooks more reps. He needs to get on the field and he can't do much worse than Lewis. For the rest of this season we should also give some young players a chance and see what they can do!

I agree. Get him on the field for the last four losses, I mean games. 

You know that's not how I meant it. Of course they will do their best one way or another. It's the fact, that positive feedback gives confidence, which in turn results in better performance, that gets more positive feedback, etc. That's just fact. I'm not talking about players throwing tantrums because they didn't get a sticker, that would be childish.

I think "childish" is Daddy Harbaugh even giving out "stickers" in the first place. I'm sure they all get some milk and cookies, either way. Unless they are in the Doghouse.

No way he's terrible at it it, but I do feel it's time for him to ride off into the sunset and believe that he indeed will after this season. 

I'm almost 28 years old and I'd still play with my hair on fire for a sticker. It's not about how old or mature you are, it's the damn sticker! (That represents validation and acknowledgment of your efforts - great motivator). What I see as a massive improvement on defense is the lack of yellow flags thrown against us.

Oh can I please have a sticker too, Coach? Or maybe a gold star? Gimme a break. These are grown men playing for crazy amounts of money. Didn't know they had to get "stickers". Do they pass out participation trophies to everyone w/some cookies after the game, too?

This could be true, however, if I made my living playing in the NFL, you can bet that I'd know each and every one of those "banned substances" and would expect that the club instructs them all about the subject. People will still always try to excuse them, though. Woe is me, the victim. How could I have known? Right.

Very sad season. Just thinking of the fatc that if they have to bench Schaub, the challenge of our WR's having to get used to 3 different QB's, let alone the WR set has been getting mixed up as well. Worst season ever for the Ravens in my book

I agree and it will take years to get back to what we are all used to. Too many gaping holes to fill. Plain simple facts. Like it or not, fans. Ozzie needs to retire after this year, also. It's just time.

Yeah.....enjoy the negs. I predicted as much or 5-11  3 or 4 weeks ago. Loved the negs. I'm as big of a fan as anyone, but, like you, live in reality. It is what it is, as they say. Go Ravens!!
