I kind of agree. Since they moved up the kickoff line, we all see a heck of a lot more touchbacks, so kickoff returner isn't as important as it used to be. It just needs someone who can hang on to the ball and more importantly, make sound decisions on when to bring it out, which I think was a knock on Jacoby. I agreed that he too often brought it out, only to give us rotten field position. As for punt returner, I think that position has a different skillset required. I guess we'll all see what/who Harbs comes up with Sunday. I know it may be a bit off topic, (although not too much), it's always bugged me when they don't start the clock when a kickoff is made, instead, waiting to see if a kicker brings it out, then starting it. My feelings are that.....since players are blocking, being eligible to have penalties called on them, can and do get injured during a kickoff, the clock should be running when the kick is made. Ok....I'll get off my soapbox now. I just personally feel it's a dumb rule. Sorry if it's too much off topic.
