Yeah....it seems like every season we watch quite a few players (a lot, actually) play much better than the ones we drafted. I like Ozzie and he has done a good job for the team over the years, but I think it's time for him (and perhaps some of our scouts) to hang it up after this bust of a season. Ride off into the sunset, Oz!! And if Harbaugh doesn't get it together, he'll be following his Bro back to college ball in a year or two.

So....Houston loses and all of a sudden things are great again in Ravenstown, huh? Who knew?

Sorry, but "showing leadership" is not approaching each game the same, especially when you are 1-5. Think that's part of the problem? When Ray Lewis was playing do you think for one minute that he had the same attitude and would even utter things like that? Therein lies a big chunk of the problem. Expect more of the same. 4-12 if we're lucky. #5 pick in the draft.

If we only had a QB who can actually find an open receiver, we'd be in good shape. One who doesn't panic under the slightest bit of pressure or may consider moving around or running. I know, he looks like a drunken giraffe when he actually runs, but what the heck. 4-12 record this year.

Yeah......aren't those rainbow passes to the shortest guy on the field just great? More often than not, I just cringe every time Below Average Joe flips one of those up for anyone to grab. Either that, or he throws to the other team, when no Raven is anywhere nearby. Then I read on here, by at least one purple juice guzzling fan how Flacco will be in the Pro Bowl. Now, THAT is funny. Very funny.

Great plan, except that we have a QB who locks his eyes in on one receiver, staring him down, tipping off every defense. He doesn't seem to be able to find open receivers. Get some pressure on him and he freaks out. Then everyone complains about the OL. Yeah, right.

Harbaugh talks like the Ravens are all new to this. Well coached teams don't play like this. I think that pretty much sums it up.

The Ravens practice? You'd never know it by watching them in action. Sometimes it looks like they haven't even met. Nice to know they've resorted to actually getting to know each other and perhaps practicing. Great news!!

Yeah....maybe they could draft a WR!! Or a QB!! Flacco might make a decent backup, but QB's usually need at least a little leadership ability, though. Scratch that.

As much as I like him, he shouldn't even be on the team. I'm not sure what genius thought it was a good idea even re-signing him, etc. Of course, he's the best bud of our imitation QB, so......no real surprise there. The whole team is a mess, from the top on down.

QB's get blitzed all the time. Nothing new or different w/Flacco. The real difference is that the good QB's make you pay for blitzing them. Guess that shoots that excuse down, as well as all the other excuses some fans keep making for his play.

Harbaugh just doesn't want to throw his coaches and a few players under the bus at this time. The whole team is a mess right now and it really seems like they are all clueless. I predict that, although it may be a couple seasons away, he will be joining his brother coaching in college. Ever since this team lost it's leaders, they are clueless and w/out emotion. Flacco is no leader and will never be. If you watch all the good QB's (which does not include him) when they go to the sidelines, they talk to coaches, look at photos, engage their team mates, etc. He just goes and stands there, by himself and seems to be figuring out in his head how much money he's making for the game. Flacco is a joke. Take away his strong arm and what's left? Nothing. His attitude and lack of emotion (and skill) poisons the team. Could the Ravens do worse? No doubt whatsoever about that. But, they could sure do much better. Oh well....he got his big money, the leaders are all gone and now we see what's left over. Get used to losing, fellow fans. It will take a long time to right this ship. All the problems this team has will take many years to fix. Many. Neg away. I know the truth hurts. I understand.

Ozzie may be interested in signing a few of us fans to play WR. We may all not be 6'5", but I imagine we are just as good at not being able to catch a pass as Marlon Brown and just think of the cap space it would free up!! The fact that they still have him on the roster speaks volumes of the talent level on the team at the position (other than SSS).

You mention dead money and cap space. Both things the team has control over. Whether fans want to acknowledge it or not, it's true. I'm not saying they purposely made things the way they are, but it is all of their doing. Like it or not. No one else to blame.

It might have something to do w/the swamp they built the place on.

That may be true, but considering who was "covering" them, any able bodied receiver could have done the same. Maybe even Marlon Brown. I did say maybe.

You may want to skip the next one, then.....I'm beginning to think my prediction of a 4-12 season was a bit too optimistic, but I'm sticking to it.....for now.

What screen passes? Even on the very rare occasion we run one, Flacco always stares down his intended receiver to be sure the Defense knows what's coming.
