  1. That may be true, but it doesn't take into account the personnel each QB has/had around him. So, it's not a good argument.
  2. Sure. I think Ozzie is going to ride off into the sunset after this season, so he won't mind. What are you offering in exchange? How about your first pick, your third and JJ? Seems about right.
  3. It looks like we are currently in the #8 slot for the draft. Great win, Ravens!!
  4. He is signed through next season, reportedly.
  5. Ummm...the game isn't Sunday night.
  6. It'd be nice to see what Mallett can do. Hope he plays some and the Ravens find a way to win the game.
  7. I hope SSS gets healthy, enjoys his time off w/his family, then decides to come back for one more year. He is a special kind of player and brings a lot of fire and emotion to the team, which are big things this team lacks. Hurry up, Draft Day.
  8. Hope it's a good ugly. I say 19-14 Ravens. What the heck.
  9. It'd be a help if the Jets could knock of the Pats, too. It looks like that's also a 1 PM game. Hey....could happen. No shortage of motivation for the Jets in that game, either. That'd be a good day of football if the Ravens and Jets both won. Steeler fans may need those terrible towels to dry some tears if that happened. But, I agree, they will probably get in somehow.
  10. W/all due respect to Sizzle.....have you seen him in "coverage"? 'Nuff said.
  11. Yeah, kind of like when they kept Jensen on the 53 man roster for a whole season when he never played one single down and wasn't even healthy enough to play one. Yeah.
  12. Nice to know that Harbs thinks Smith will be a "dominate player in this league". Par for the course w/the writing on here. Maybe find a fifth grader to do some proofreading (?)
  13. How many games/years has Flacco played here, w/all the experience w/the players compared to Clausen? Oh.....then there's the minor detail of salaries. Plain hard truth is that Clausen played just as good as a typical Flacco game. It may be tough to see the facts looking through your deep dark purple shades. As for me, I call it like I see it.
  14. They won't be letting Webb go. Not saying perhaps they shouldn't, it's just w/all the dead money potential w/him and quite a few others, he'll be back. Hopefully, he can play better at safety and/or slot/nickle.
  15. They should start Clausen. After all, he did put up Flacco-like numbers against a very stout defense, w/very little time to prepare. 274 yards and an interception. No one seems to whine when Average Joe has a day like that.....against anybody. Start the man!!
  16. Kevin......thank you, yet again, for a well written article.
  17. I have faith in the players and coaches to vote a few Ravens in. They are the ones that really know who is deserving of a nod. It'll happen for probably a few Ravens.
  18. I promise to never, ever second guess our FO again regarding player contracts. Period. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000603458/article/chiefs-sign-ol-jah-reid-to-threeyear-extension
  19. Good luck, Tray! Here's your shot.
  20. I agree, but also some folks in the FO need to quit writing all the crazy contracts. It just leads to more and more dead money down the road and then, due to cap limits, they sit back and hold the door open for some good players to leave. It all starts there.
  21. He won't be w/the team next season and neither will Ozzie.
  22. I guess w/you being the expert here, you get what 4-12 means. Also, you must be too busy to actually watch the games.
  23. Yeah, Ozzie has done a few ridiculous contracts, but none will ever come anywhere near the one he gave Pitta, knowing his health issues. Can you say dead money? I know, I know....he's Joe's best bud.
  24. True, most teams do run that play rather well. Except the Ravens, of course. We can't seem to find a way to get a few yards to get a much needed first down to save our.....never mind. 4-12 pretty much says it.
  25. Ozzie needs to retire, Pees will be let go after the season and Harbaugh will be joining his brother in the college ranks after next season.
