True. But Ozzie also says the same thing about safeties, pass rushers, linebackers, etc., etc. Not sure how that philosophy translates into a 53 man roster. It all sounds good to the fans, I guess.

Just remember there's a HUGE difference between a guy catching passes in OTA's, w/no hitting allowed, QB's laying the ball right where you need it to be, etc., than catching passes in real games, in traffic and worrying about getting absolutely hammered after catching them. Big time difference. Just sayin'.

I also haven't been overly impressed by Taliaferro....as of yet. He will get his shots, if he stays healthy. I hope he does well. W/BP having "moved on", here's his shot. I agree that his agility needs to improve. He doesn't seem to do much to evade tacklers, generally. But instead, seems to just try to run them over. That running style alone can get you labeled as a short yardage back. Do some evading and persuading, LT!

Sorry, John, but QB's don't have "winning records". You may have football confused w/baseball. I usually agree w/most of your opinions and you have more knowledge and writing skills in your pinkie than the "others" on here. I imagine you'd never get a teammate of Average Joe's to say it publicly, but they have to get sick and tired of hearing about "unflappable" Joe having all his winning records. A real joke. There is a reason that, outside of us Ravens fans, most other people consistently rank Average Joe as just that......average. I'm not here to bash our QB at all. I just see things as they are. I'm a huge Ravens fan.....just not a Flacco worshipper. I honestly feel that he should be ranked around #10-12 in starting NFL QB's. Maybe w/his new weapons, he can and will be a bit more consistent. I think he may, if some key players remain healthy.

Well......considering the players weren't supposed to be even hitting, I wouldn't put much credence in that. Maybe later on, when they are going at it in pads. Otherwise, it means nothing. And, I have a feeling if you asked Brandon if that's how it actually happened, he'd have a different take on it.

Personally, I think the main reason they (NFL) moved it back is to make it less of a "gimme" kick, not to get teams to consider going for two. Kind of like comparing apples to oranges, I think.

I guess it's time for all the "look how any wins Flacco has" crowd to come out......yet again. He has NO wins!! I don't know if you are just expressing your opinion as fact or what, but how do you know it played a part in trading him and when did the rock solid evidence come out that he was taking Adderall? Can you provide your source?
