  1. Where's Pitta on your top list? Also, comparing Webb# this year to SSS# this year. Where's the fairness in that? Just sayin'....should be reversed, in my opinion.
  2. I agree. I personally wasn't even sure if Brown would make the roster this year. He has not impressed me much and I don't think he's ever going to pan out(?) Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so. He has the physical tools. C'mon, Marlon.....
  3. I just chuckle every time I read or hear: "yeah, but we played teams that are 8-1!" Do you realize how stupid of a remark that is? Ummm....if we had won those games, they'd be 5-4!! Stupidest "logic" you can find. It's akin to saying...."yeah, we lost to the Yankees in a three game series, but, they are 3-0!!" Dumb and dumber.
  4. Not sure, but I think it was Hurst that made that tackle. Either way, it was a good one. He could have just given up like most OL do on plays like that.
  5. I guess you missed Flaccos fumble? He looked like a third grade pee wee player running on that play. He looks terrible and has no confidence when running, which he is absolutely scared to do. You never know what you're going to get w/him, but he is not anywhere near a top tier NFL QB. Surely not worth the crazy money he gets. And to say he played smart? Scared, maybe.
  6. Actually, that is incorrect. A Vegas line has to do with the amount of money bet, not the number of bets. PERIOD.
  7. Personally, I think the Coaches need to step it up. All of them.
  8. I would agree, except when you have a real threat w/your passing game. If the opposition has guys that can cover, especially w/man coverage, they just come at you and also stack the box. Makes for a long day, regardless of what blocking scheme you implement. All you have to do is take a quick look up at NE. See anyone slowing them down? Maybe a bit, but they quickly adjust and they, of course, have the coaching and personnel to make you pay for stacking the box. We don't.
  9. I have been wondering what's going on w/Wagner. Last year, I believe, he was rated as the best RT in football. What changed w/him? Hurst, I understand. I think Hurst will need some help if he's going to be out there. I guess we have no better options at this time. "We're just not executing" is no real explanation. Coaching? Effort? Preparation? The opposition stacking the box more? I feel it's the latter, more than anything. C'mon, coaches. Move the pocket, etc. and quit being so darned predictable. Mix it up and do different things to make them respect the pass. If we don't, expect more of the same results.
  10. How about you get real and consider Flacco actually runs? He's such a wimp.
  11. Alshon is injured now, I believe. Not sure about his status. However, you'd need a good QB to throw him the ball and we let Taylor walk. Flacco is a joke, along w/the playcalling and overall effort of this club. At least they should get a decent draft position after this season. There's always that bright spot.
  12. Flacco got his money. He's slowly sinking down the list of QB's in the NFL. Not even in the top 20 now. He could have run/walked for plenty of yardage, but chose not to. What a joke. If he even gave 10% of the effort of SSS and Williams, we'd have a chance.
  13. I disagree. Besides, can anyone look more "awkward" than the other options we are using, in addition to a statue of a QB looking like he's never done this before, who stares down his receivers on every passing down?? I say play the guy, especially in the red zone. So, following your twisted logic, the Ravens are just wasting a roster spot by keeping his "raw and awkward" self on the roster. Yeah.
  14. Just keep chuggin' that kool aid. See where we are in a few weeks.
  15. Maybe if we're lucky, we'll see Flacco throw a few more (underthrown)fades, lob passes and rainbows to a 5'9" SSS in the endzone again Thursday, while Flacco stands still like a frozen statue. All while Waller stands on the sideline watching. He's every bit as fast as Perriman, but all we hear about is we have no one fast enough to take the top off of a defense. Maybe it's because he wasn't a #1 draft pick, so he can't possibly be any good? Yeah....continue throwing underthrown jumpball rainbows to a 5'9" guy. That works.
  16. Nice thought, but I'm sure the Union will laugh at that idea. It all starts w/coaching/discipline or the lack thereof. Ever notice how every year we see the same thing?
  17. Although our WR's haven't shown much, except of course, SSS, I feel it's more a combination of Flacco's inability to move around, poor coaching and playcalling and just not having anyone to light a fire under their collective butts. How many times have we all seen good QB's (Flacco is not now or ever been included in that group in my opinion) take WR's no one ever heard of, and make them into stars? Manning, Rodgers, Brady, etc. If you even remotely disagree, you watch NFL football w/purple blinders on while chugging purple kool aid. Neg all you want, the plain, simple honest truth is tough to take, huh? Flacco could have walked to a critical first down at the end of the game and what does he do? Watch the game film. He's a very large part of the problem. Fact. Everything opens up when you slow down a pass rush, move the pocket (watch Carr from Oakland if you don't know what that does) try a pump fake once or twice a year, heck, maybe even run!! Maybe a screen pass or have a RB throw? I know, I know......I must be crazy. Or maybe it's because I watch and pay attention to what good QB's do, what good coaches do in other games. The Ravens, aside from a small group of players, need to rebuild and start drafting well again. I'm also not a fan of either coordinator. Harbaugh could/should fire them both. Might as well, they're just jockeying for a draft slot from here on out. I'll continue to watch the games, then switch to watch a real game, w/real players and real coaches. I feel bad for SSS being stuck w/this team on his last year. He deserves better.
  18. Once yet again, an article seemingly written by an eighth grader. Sorry if that offends some eighth graders. Learn to proofread your articles, Three Musketeers.
  19. Ummmm......no.
  20. Flacco: "We also have to get our minds in check and make sure that we want to go out there and win a football game. But, only if you feel like it, Average Joe. I know you don't make much money. Webb: "Ben, he's a great quarterback. He extends plays". Unlike your own QB. Flacco could have walked for a first down near the end of the game. Wide open field and two wide open WR's. Really. Watch the film.
  21. Nice to know the Steelers are already 3-1.
  22. Ummmmm.....never mind.
  23. That's because Average (on a good day) Joe can look a whole lot like Kyle Boller on some plays. He seems to love those underthrown lobs and rainbow passes here of late. Can somebody lend him a bit of emotion? I'm sure he'll give it back afterwards.
  24. Yeah....he kicks so many field goals because we are so inept at scoring touchdowns and have to "settle" for field goals.
  25. Maybe if the "play callers" had used Waller in the end zone a few times, instead of underthrowing/lobbing rainbows, fades and jump balls to SSS, we might even learn how to win a game once in awhile. I just shake my head and wonder. Oh, and Waller is just as fast as Perriman.
