  1. LOL... If Steve Smith is not "Alpha", then there is no such thing! I suppose that you mean that there's no clear cut dominating #1 type receiver on this roster yet?
  2. Revis isn't available.
  3. Maxximus Primetime
  4. Maxximus Primetime
  5. Alrighty then... feeling better, Ravens Nation? I know I am!!!
  6. That dude shoulda been a Raven all along. Go take those lunchboxes, Steve!
  7. Huh... I know Ed has called Joe out before, but that was to challenge him and the Offense. I would imagine, given both of their personalities, they get along great, and surely the respect for each other is there. Kinda like T-Sizzle and Joe... they get on each other and talk trash in practice, but how many times have we seen Sizzle stand up for Joe in the media?
  8. With his family, perhaps? Why does this matter?
  9. Ed, given the direction that defensive rules seem to be headed for in the "No Fun League", that flag football coaching experience might just come in handy!
  10. If Ed and Troy don't get in on first ballot, then either the HOF voting system needs to be torn down and rebuilt, or the voters need to be replaced. Or both.
  11. My favorite Raven of all-time, congrats Ed!
  12. Heck ya, a Brady Bunch suspension still benefits the Ravens if he is not playing week one against the Squeelers. Ravens will win the division regardless of a Squeeler win in week one, and the Patriots take a hit on playoff seeding. The longer the suspension the greater the chance AFC Championship is played in BMore.
  13. LOL, I second all that... please... no more "Whiskey in a Jar-o" crap in the stadium... surely, you can pick out approx. 100 other Metallica songs that are much better suited for the stadium environment!
  14. I love the fact that our first three picks were critical components of the last couple of National Championship teams. Not only are they talented, they also know how to win.
  15. It would not surprise me if Gino ended up starting at center next year. I'm not saying it's gonna happen... but what I am saying is that he will get the chance to come in and show whether he has grown or not. After having that rough year under his belt and behind him, he may have a lot more confidence, and a lot more comfort at playing the position. If that translates well on the field, that would surely be a huge lift for this team. This is not something I'm betting on, lol... but it could happen. Just think how much better the O-line could be if Gino grew to be a solid center. And, who knows, but maybe Kubiak's scheme will be a better fit for Gino? We shall see.
  16. Strongly disagree with you there... Ozzie's constantly plugging holes because the rest of the league overpays for our free agent players. Ozzie drafts them, the coaching staff develops them into decent players, and the rest of the league blows up their salary cap numbers. Gino is a young guy, and everyone knows that centers need more time to develop. He may yet turn out to be a good center.
  17. Awesome news, would hate to lose a game changer like Jacoby.
  18. Kinda like weather predicting
  19. Gotta have patience. We all know by now that Ozzie doesn't pull the trigger until he gets a reasonable deal worked out. Monroe is the perfect example. Ozzie saved a couple mil by not panicking, and letting Monroe test the FA market.
  20. Very much agree about Jacoby. If whats-his-face hadn't run into him in Denver, JJ would have been a Pro Bowler again last year. Looked like he was just about back to form when he came back. Now, with a quiet off season for him (no dancing shows), he should be real strong again this coming season. A game-changer like Jacoby doesn't come around that often... and he does his thing in big games, and in big moments.
