It seems to me that the new "Run Game Coordinator", No. 27's injury, missing Q and Pitta, and the o-line's challenges all contributed to the poor offensive play this season. These are things that were definitely different from last year, finally colliding in a perfect storm. Now that storm has passed, and the Ravens' playoff aspirations are wrecked.
