    @Sarah Ellison How much did you get paid to bury us in nonsense. The main problem is Harbaugh and has been since he arrived, we'll see won't we. Will you be writing these fluff articles then.

    Which obviously explains how bad he is due to,

    -Bringing Baltimore its second Lombardi trophy.

    -80 wins to 53 losses. *not counting Playoffs.

    - 10 wins 5 losses in playoffs since he got here, (Best playoff record from then to now.)

    -After a tough season we are currently having a winning season so far and as far as I'm concerned if we fix our offense, we could be one of the most dangerous teams.

    And also Sarah Ellison, keep up the good work. I love reading LFW and will continue to read it.

  2. I mean I love the look of our previous look. Written Ravens with the head Logo in both end zones and then our classic secondary Shield logo I loved in the middle of our field. Sad to see them simplify it. I mean I think most fans would agree with me that the shield was a better way to show that the Baltimore heritage and looked great. I mean one of the greatest memories was when Ray Lewis did his winning formation dance on or near the Baltimore and Maryland flag shield logo! Great memory. Bring the shield Back I say.

  3. Please draft Myles Jack if he is available with our 2nd! I know the injuries but say he sits the year with the surgury and we pretty much make this pick a 1st rounder for next season where he can come in and play to his potential and be the good player I think he can be. I mean look at the second rounder last year Maxx Williams, I know that he is a TE and it takes at least a year for that position to develop but the way I see it, its the same type of thing. Whatever you do, hope it's the best pick! :)

  4. Just to sum up the tally, IR has on it:

    Our starting QB;

    Starting RB;

    Backup RB;

    Starting WR1;

    Starting WR2;

    Starting TE;

    Starting C;

    Starting OLB/DE;

    Promising DE;

    Backup SS

    Potential KR/PR slot WR.

    BTW this list includes the 1st round picks from 2013 and 2015

    At this point wouldn't be surprised if John Harbaugh got injured and put on the IR...

    I am just kidding but in all honesty I kind of wouldn't be surprised with what's going down with us this season. This is easily the worst season I have ever seen a team go through! I sure hope were getting all of our bad luck out now so next year will be flawless... Will still be rootin till the end. GO RAVENS!!!

  5. Does anybody else miss that type of atmosphere that our D had when Ed and Ray were here? Our D had it together and I just don't feel our defense having that juice anymore...

    Boy, I miss me some Ed Reed and Ray Lewis. Did anybody get else get goosbumps watching the Ray lewis career highlights? Especially at the end for me seeing us win the superbowl. Such an amazing feeling.

  6. Something I looked up, even though the Ravens aren't in a great position, if you look at our games, I find a positive that we were one play away from winning or increasing our chances to win in both of our games. But What I looked up is out of all the 0-2 teams, which there are 9 teams that have an 0-2 record, The Ravens are second with closest point differential in both those games. Our net score is -10. Only the Giants have a better net score with -8. But with how close our games are I am excited because I know and the players know the season isn't close to over and the year is still wide open. GO RAVENS.

    -Also lets all keep Breshad Perriman in our prayers to get better, (aka, our offense's productivity) with his speed making defenses playing off him playing the deep ball that opens up the field.

  7. Wouldn't it be nice to have JJ Dragonfly with us still?  He wasn't perfect, but he would have torched Talil and given Joe a target deep down field.  I don't care if he dropped 2 out of 3, it would have backed Denver up.   As it was, they knew that we had no one fast enough to get past their secondary, and one of Joe's best weapons, his long ball, was essentially taken out of play, from the very beginning of the game.

    Honestly, IMO even if we had a deep threat with the way the broncos got to Flacco, we wouldn't have had any time to even throw it deep. And that is why we didn't have any deep throws. If you noticed we were just making dump off passes because they got to Flacco so quickly.

  8. i had to reinstall my os so i thought it was the perfect time for me to rewatch the road to the Super Bowl matches. what came to mind was, can you imagine the kind of offense we would be if we had both boldin AND smith sr???? lol, i really, really, can't wait to see what smith has in store for us. Hope everybody heals fast so we can see our team at full demolition mode!!!

    I actually thought about that a couple days ago! We would have the toughest set of Recievers in the league and then if we had both Perriman and T. Smith. Imagine the 4 WR plays. Unstoppable. But it is what it is and the Ravens are blessed to have Steve Smith Sr. Can't wait for this season! GO Ravens!

  9. But it is worth noting that the Texans eventually benched him and his replacement produced better in that same offense, the Texans didn't bring Schaub back, and Schaub couldn't even win the 2nd string job for the Raiders. So while camp picks don't mean much, pre season picks won't mean a lot either because he won't be playing against starters and he won't be using real game day offense. Teams dumb down their offensive and defensive schemes in the pre season so they don't give anything away. Pretty much all I am hearing are excuses for the guy. He was a turnover machine in Houston...and with as terrible as Oakland was he couldn't win the starting or back up job. Think about that. All that being said, he's a Raven and if he plays I will be cheering him on and hoping for the best, but I won't be expecting different results from him. Let's just hope for another super healthy season for Flacco and then Matt Schaub won't matter.

    I agree and you bring up good points. I just think that Schaubs problem was confidence and if he can gain that back he can get back into form. But like you said, Lets hope Flacco doesn't get hurt and we don't have to find out whether Schaub is good enough. GO Ravens!!!

  10. Steve Smith Sr. is my favorite Raven and the thought of a last ride for him, just like Ray Lewis would be no better way to help Steve finish the NFL in the best way. Steve is a Raven (wish for longer) and plays like one. He defines the saying, "Play Like A Raven" with his toughness and he deserves a ring. I believe that we can do it for him and also for the City of Baltimore. Go Ravens!

  11. Does anyone have the link to the article where Butler said he thinks the player he is most like is Boldin? It was either right before or right after last year's draft. He looked better than Aiken last year in camp. Is it just me, or does the receiving corps look totally different since Steve Smith Sr and Bobby Ingram got here? Different in a good way.

    This is what I found.

  12. I honestly feel comfortable with Aiken taking the spot while Perriman develops. We also have others who can take snaps as well with Brown, Butler, Campanaro and possible Waller. It just amazes me how we didn't look like we had good depth but Ozzie drafts just two receivers and now we overflowing with talent. I love how hard all the receivers are working. Keep up the good work! Go Ravens.

  13. Matt Schaub throwing a pick 6 we can file that under the redundancy category. Harbs is defending this guy but if he has to play in games i dont feel at all confident that he can win us a game unless he hands off 20 times to Forsett 20 times for Buck Allen and 15 to Taliafero

    Well, first of all, this is training camp and this doesn't amount to much with ints. because like in the NFL.com article that Aaron Rodgers says that tracking ints from Training Camp is one of the most frivolous plots this time of year. Take, for instance, Aaron Rodgers, the best quarterback in the NFL. The Packers' signal-caller throws contested balls more often in practice to see what kind of play his receivers can make on the ball. It might result in a turnover, but it also provides him valuable information to use on Sundays. Yeah, you don't want a QB making those throws, but lets at least wait for preseason games to see how he does then we will know.
