What do you guys think about him?
During his career as an Offensive Coordinator, Mornhinweg's offenses have finished 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 9th, 10th, and 12th in total offense, and regularly highly ranked in big plays.

Playbook will have to remain the same. Hopefully Marty can use some imagination and establish rhythm.
Yeah but now we might use all of it including the running plays
Prayers have been answered
If Harbaugh pulls that again, he needs to be fired. It was literally the difference in the game. I dont mind going for it on 4th down, but leave flacco in if you are going to do that

There isnt that much of a difference between wright and a street fa
Hes such a burn victim. Seriously why we paid this guy i will never know. We either took his stats last ye completely out of context in which case we are morons or we were desperate which is also bad
Pick 1 in a full ppr league
Demaryius Thomas v indy
Stefon Diggs v green bay

Allen and evans

I feel the opposite tbh. Edelman and hogan are still things and foster may also be
James White or Giovani Bernard in ppr
9 hours ago, ravensdan said:I like this draft and lineup a lot. Your rbs are all pass catchers. Curious was Robinson off the board? I have pick 6 tonight 12 team ppr. I'm thinking my ranks are
brown
beckam
jones
green
robinson
bryant
i have a feeling I'm going to end up with Robinson.
Probably late but robinson was on the board. I opted against him for a few reasons
1. Regression is a thing and ita coming
2. He isnt a high volume pass catcher anyway. If yardage would need about a margin of 3 tds to match any of my guys (floor of 100 receptions)
12 Team PPR picking 10/12.
Kirk Cousins
DeAngelo Williams
Giovani Bernard
Charles Sims
James White
Darren Sproles
Brandon Marshall
Keenan Allen
Demaryius Thomas
Julian Edelman
Josh Gordon
Stefon Diggs
Tyler Eifert
Jared Cook
Chandler Catanzaro
Green Bay Defense.
Overall, I feel like my runningback group is a bit weak, but each one of them is basically a #2 WR capable of catching 50+ passes so its probably nowhere near as bad as I think. I can also afford to move a WR for RB depth (hopefully I'll be able to)
3 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:The best wr corps in the league vs one of the worst cb groups. They also may have a more formidable OL so pass rush could be difficult
Lol. This is a joke right. They have 1 good wideout. Shpherd is a tookie and cruz is done.
they have no right side of the line, no linebackers which are tight ends will abuse, and no safeties
this is such a mismatch in favor of the ravens its unreal
but hey i just live in ny. What do i know
Anyone else notice that we are basically a 4-3 now even tho we dont really have the personnel to run it
My thoughts:
Stanley looked pretty good for what I saw. He held his own which is all that you can ask/expect at this point and he gave effort on running plays.
The offense did well considering what they were up against and who they were without. Left guard is still a question mark to me though as no one stood out.
The run defense is more concerning to me than the secondary. Yes we were missing Suggs, Jernigan and Williams, but we have the depth to where we should be able to do better replacing these guys. Put simply, Carolina imposed their will on us on that first drive.
Shareece Wright is the corner he has always been and Jimmy Smith is clearly still recovering from all the off season work he had. However, time and the pass rush getting healthy should leave the secondary in respectable shape.
Still Not a fan of Kamalei Correa (just pointing this out)
1 hour ago, ravensdfan said:Limited playing time and some key guys missing, this is understood, but I'm not seeing any improvement in our secondary at this point. In fact, they looked pretty typical for Pees time here.
But, we'll have the best 2nd & 3rd string defense around. Hoping to see some improvement as pre-season rolls on.
Its pre-season and the Panthers ran up tempo no huddle. This is no different than the Eagles game last yr
1 hour ago, Willbacker said:Games 2 and 3will tell us a lot more.
West is ahead of Allen imo.
Defense needs to disguise their defense a little better. We commit and show our hand a little too early. Need to be able to audible out of it.
This is preseason. You don't show your hand in preseason because it literally doesnt matter. All the plays are virtually vanilla
1 hour ago, redrum52 said:I said this too. Wright looked like a boy next to Benjamin. Would like to get bigger, but nothing we can do now. Also, I think the team is more focused on building for our toughest comp.
1 hour ago, Moderator 3 said:I think our secondary is too small. They look like midgets out there.
you realize the Panthers pass catchers are all 6ft 4 +
Again to reiterate, if you aren't picking in the top 3 of a ppr draft, you are extremely unlikely to get a guy that is going to be a sure thing when it comes to racking up receptions. Antonio Brown and Julio Jones are really the only sure thing to clear the 100 reception mark.
You can take chances on guys like
Keenan Allen
AJ Green
Brandon Marshall
Demaryius Thomas
etc....
But generally these guys will fall into the 80-100 reception range and the differentiator in scoring will be yardage (which should be similar no matter who you pick) and TDs.
The main reason i posted this is to highlight the strategy and see what ppl think
For reference, here is fantasyfootballcalculator.com's ADP: https://fantasyfootballcalculator.com/adp.php?format=ppr&year=2016&teams=12&view=graph&[ profanity deleted]=all
Dez is at 9 and A-Rob is at 12, but A-Rob's ADP has dropped consistently over the course of the off season and scenarios where he is going early to mid second are happening more often due to significant perceived regression (which is valid). Marshall has risen as of recent too due to the Jets signing Fitzpatrick most likely. So, all in all, it isn't inconceivable to take Dez in the back four picks of the draft and have A-Rob fall back to you on the swing.
