It does make a difference because if your offense doesnt revolve that player, you aren't getting what you're paying for. You can give Todd Gurley/OtherAmazingRBHere 15 carries a game and he'd likely be just as effective on a per carry basis, but it'd be stupid to take him #1 overall if this was your plan. Ideally, you give that guy as many as he can handle. Scheme fit matters to teams when they draft them, and it also matters in general. Bell can fit in any scheme, but taking Bell this early should dictate that you need to adapt your scheme to Bell to maximize returns, which dictates your needs going forward. That's why I don't feel like any RB is good value when you can get young cornerstone pieces and manufacture the production at the RB position otherwise via scheme.
