  3. I suspect its ppl are scared to give him a long term deal due to wt and health concerns maybe he isnt a full time player. Who knows, but if you believe pff, he should be getting more
  4. My issue with fairley is why was his market ice cold if he plays well
  5. Pick is in

  7. Well when your clock starts at 10 am while youre at work....
  8. I also didnt join this in the first place. I was... drafted
  9. Nope he was taken already apparently
  10. Same for searcy and hes a steal at this point
  11. Pick is in. Value was too good to pass up even tho I am set at the position.

  13. We can argue this back and forth, but let's just see how he does.
  14. Play 1 - Ben gets pressured and moves up in the pocket and forces 1 to Brown missing an open man in the flat. This is good coverage by Amerson, I am not sure if Ben making a better throw changes this (on one hand if he saw Brown earlier, he could have thrown him open by throwing to the spot on the sideline, on the other, not sure if he would have made that throw or should have). Play 2 - Amerson did get beat and recovered nicely here, but given the coverage, Stafford had to make a throw into a very tight window (can't tell but the throw looks to be behind rather than in front of the receiver. Don't think it matters much because the throw was dangerous either way given the other defender heads for the receiver). I kind of feel like the winner here is the the defensive scheme blanketing that route forcing the QB to make a perfect throw or bust. Play 3 - Stafford gets basically a free rusher coming at him immediately which definitely affects the throw (ball is once again behind the receiver). If this were a deep route and the free rusher was picked up, Johnson has him beat for a long TD. A better throw and this is probably a reception rather than a drop. Notable that there was no specific help over the top. Play 4 - Amerson has help over the top. Johnson wins the route (twice with the double move), but Stafford misses the throw. Sometimes a corner's job and win rate depends on how well he can cover to force QBs to make difficult throws or to miss them to protect the ball. Can't knock Amerson for that because he succeeded (which is why I knocked the QB in Stafford for missing opportunity), but I look at those plays and think well if it were a different guy, the opening is there.
  15. I dont count the lions in that grouping because...well did you watch the lions this year? That line was so terrible that nothing worked out offensively
  16. Morse was a great pick and was definitely on my board. I'm always somewhat worried with Andy Reid o-linemen, but Morse is an excellent player who showed well.
  17. Not sure how I feel about the Dan Williams pick. On one hand, there is no doubt he is a quality and consistent player especially against the run. On the other hand, above average run defenders are signed off the street almost every year. I had a few players rated above him.
  18. My only issue with David Amerson as a pick is which guy are you getting? 6 of the games he played this year were against some of the leagues worst passing situations (P. Manning and Denver, SD lost all its receivers, KC is one of the weakest groups in the league). Additionally, the year when a ton of QBs go down is the year where he finally "puts it together." I'd have to delve a little deeper into the qualification of the stats for him, but for me its hard to trust that the light just went on for him this year.
  19. Pick is in.

  21. Good pick. Was on my board. Only real knock on him is scheme limitation.
  22. Wideouts, i can agree with. The qbs throwing to them not a chance
  23. Tbh I was going to wait to take him. I'm just too afraid one more concussion = career over. The concussion symptoms he suffered were fairly significant and well surgery on top of that (while a more minor concern) doesn't help his case. Definitely a better pick that Butler who is severely overrated and benefitted from a cake walk schedule and constant help over the top. Like the value here tho, just one of those guys thats a you can take him, but I wont.
  24. As a bodybuilder i appreciate the jay cutler pic. however i hate the qb. Guy threw games Nd gave up on his team at points and im not talking about the mcl thing. Good value tho
