  1. Yea Im so convinced that you watched tape. Pick a lane brah.
  2. Yea I think the story would be different if it were AB who was lost compared to Martavis Bryant. And that's why our passing game (outside of maybe 1 year) has perpetually sucked in a league trending towards passing offenses.
  3. Reynolds I doubt is going to be on the team in a year or two. I feel like he was a return guy with some upside maybe. Moore is a talented guy, but asking him to step up to this level is probably a bit much this fast. Wallace is a good player and can stretch, but he isn't going to be what perriman could have been for this offense.
  4. We rolle with Chris Moore and Mike Wallace to replace him. That was always the plan. Hopefully 1 of them or the committee does enough to supplant the loss. It's highly doubtful as Perriman had the potential to be the guy in the passing game while it's highly unlikely that either of those 2 are capable of that. Other than that, hope Steve Smith comes back and has 1 more renaissance year.
  5. Maybe if Joe was throwing, he throw the ball to a different receiver or maybe the drop rate is even greater. We can play the what if game all day. Prisoner of the moment catches are what leads to overpaying for mediocre talents.
  6. I saw what you did there.
  7. LOL - that was legitimately funny to me.
  8. Jeremy Maclin
  9. I have no idea if this is true or not, but cite evidence if youre going to make a claim like this please
  10. This isn't a big deal since this is how the injury typically happens but I agree with the other comment. Two significant knee injuries in two years before the practices even get serious.
  11. He would have been much better than Torrey Smith and he wasn't playing limited snaps if he was healthy. Coaches and FO were gift wrapping him the starting job.
  12. He had 83 targets in those games (50 catches). Pro-rate that out for the other half of the season and he would have gotten an absurd 166 at a catch rate of about 60%. You throw anyone the ball enough.....
  13. When your other options are Steve Smith coming off an achilles tear at 37 Kamar Aiken And Mike Wallace who really hasn't done anything great since 2011 Yea, I agree with him. Hopefully Moore and Wallace step up, but im not holding out much hope.
  14. His career is basically over. I'm done holding out hope for this guy. Too painful. We can never have good receivers.
  15. I feel like there was a study for this that I read at some point...let me see if i can go back and find it.
  16. Yeah but the qb play wasnt the issue. Crab just wasnt getting snaps from harbs which speaks to a much more deeply rooted issue scheme is such a huge factor and idk why more players dont consider when deciding to change teams
  17. Most of the elite players in the nfl have elite measurables. The ones that dont are usually exceptions. The general consensus is that you shoulf take the athlete over the better player because of upside ie you can teach football but elite measurables.
  18. Thats what happen when you do this on mobile after waking up. Def read that wrong and fixed it
  19. Well despite this not being true and an antiquated notion at that then why does the nfl even have the combine
  20. Didnt like crabtree cause he gave up in san fran last yr and injuries had sapped him. Didnt think he would recover
  21. Exception, not the rule
  22. Already proven vs a guy who is completely unproven. Let me give you a better comparison that actually fits the context since you feel like taking it out of context. I drafted Russell Wilson (a proven QB for a number of years who was an exception to the small qb = bust rule) while you took a shot on and drafted Johnny Manziel (during his rookie yr of course) Anyway, now that I settled that, I suggest you pop over to reddit and check out the master's dissertation on there on the NFL draft and wide receivers. Edit: Here I'll even link you: https://www.reddit.com/r/NFL_Draft/comments/4kv17n/i_did_my_masters_dissertation_on_the_nfl_draft/ Reference: There is no significant difference between someone running a 4.6 40 yard dash compared to the fastest timed athletes. However 4.6 appears to be the floor for wide receiver production.
  23. I don't. Speed isn' that important in the nfl where size actually is. There is no appreciable difference in success correlation between a wideout runs 4.6 and one who runs 4.3
  24. Only target I was real upset to miss on was Jaye Howard. Really wanted him and thought he'd go under the radar a bit longer, but oh well. Haters gon hate.
  25. Picks in
