I'm very sorry to hear this. Q or Jacoby Jones could just have easily been the SB MVP and Q is a baller. He will be missed in Baltimore and we have absolutely nobody (spelled NO BODY) to replace him. Its hard to argue with success and our FO has been as successful as any FO but this year's SB was not won by the FO. It was won by the players who refused to lose a la Anquan Boldin. We could not expect to see Q, Ellerbe, Williams Kruger and Reed return but I thought it was essential to bring Q back. He does his job w/o any fanfare and will be a force to contend with wherever he plays. Let's face it. David Reed, Tommy Streeter, Tandon Doss and LaQuan Williams as a group are not ready to fill Q's shoes as a Go to guy. I'm sure Ozzie has his eye on a cheaper but equally reliable free agent WR. If not, Q's departure will really hurt our offense. As for the unrelenting Joe Flacco haters on this thread, How would you feel if we had paid $29 million last year for Peyton Manning's contract. Joe is better than Peyton now and will be better again next year with or w/o Q. Graveyards are filled with people who thought they were indispensable. I though Q was quoted as saying he would retire if he was cut by the Ravens. I guess John Harbaugh would rather see his brother win a SB next year than to go for a repeat. At least, Q won't be a Steeler, Brown or Bengal. There is only one explanation for this decision ----- $$$$$ needed to sign Ed Reed who deserves to be re-signed.
