Good thing this game doesn't matter
This will cost the Bengals 5 draft spots
Was hoping for a close game at least
O line is always a joke and d line is always a joke vs the Bengals
Just now, gjbflaraven said:colin cowherd called harbs the east coast jeff fisher
That's so unfair, Fisher doesn't have anywhere close to the success Harbaugh does, 10 playoff wins
Flacco really needs to cut down on the picks next year, 1 every game is getting ridiculous

Wonderful isn't it
Defense sucks too
Typical. Terrible season
Big game today, sweep on the line
Put this on the Joe thread but I'll also put it in here as it was in the post game pressor, kind of depressing and likely sums up all our emotions:
Hey guys, saw this on Ravens Reddit, thread in response to the lack of passion baseless criticism on Joe:

He makes the system work better than other guys, but every QB has played great under Bellicheck in the gimplses we've gotten without Brady
I want Perriman to be good, I really do, but my god his drops are astonishingly bad and frequent.

People talking about him making receivers look good... No. Marvin Harrison was there before and already a HOF at the time, Reggie Wayne was still good after he left... Had Dallas Clark. Then he went to one of the best team's with a great o-line and has a young Demaryius Thomas, young Eric Decker, and then later they get Wes Welker and they had Julius Thomas. Flacco's receivers can't even catch a ball half the time when it is in their chest.
He had weapons and a great system around him literally his entire career. I agree that whole philosophical debate gets old, you need everything. Would the Colts been as good if they had Boller? No not even close, is Peyton as good with Perriman, Wallace and Aiken in Indy, probably not.

It just bothers me so much, I really thought Ben was awful, Eli Rodgers made a spectacular diving catch when he was wide open for Ben on that last drive, do you see any Raven WR making the plays that him and Brown made on that final drive? (Smith probably makes the goalline play)
Im sticking to it, Ben is supremely overrated and is fortunate to have great weapons around him, he seems very off this year and sails the ball frequently, his pocket presence is his saving grace.
Will Flacco ever have WRs/TEs that don't let him down? The one time they came through Flacco got criticized as being bailed out by them, so tired of our biggest losses being defined by plays not made by a pass catcher, it has really gotten old.
Ben throws short of the end zone, time would have expired, he throws to AB triple teamed who gets in for him, Ben the hero.
Its been mentioned before, a double standard, but if Flacco throws short of the end zone with 9 seconds left and 0 TOs he is getting crucified by this board, Ben does it and is bailed out by the best WR in the league and he's the hero again. If Flacco throws those two picks Ben made, especially the first one, this board is crucifying him.
@rmcjacket23 The hyprocsy and contradictory desires from some fans with Flacco and defensive scheme, etc. really is something else sometimes, reflection is definitely needed. And sometimes, just sometimes, that opponent comprised of paid professionals just makes a great play and there's nothing that could of been done to stop it aside from a greater play.

Yea that's for sure
Wow Dallas could win the SB. Better than Pitt or NE winning it

Guess I'd rather it be then than any other time.

Again, give Flacco a top notch WR (Perriman? Yes I'm dreaming lol) and RB (Dixon looks REALLY good) and watch what happens. Heck, if Waller could improve his hands and route running, he could be deadly for us as well. Can's stand watch QBs like Big Ben, Ryan, and Dalton (that's one for you) underachieve in the playoffs with the weapons they have.
Haha that one is for me, I can't even watch him blow it this year! Lol
1 minute ago, Militant X 1 said:The reality is this....
For all of the...Ravens "dominate" the Steelers talk because they beat them the last 4xs and that they are 4-0 against division opponents this season....and...that they destroyed the Dolphins 38-6...in all of that....the Dolphins are in the playoffs! And the Steelers actually won the right game at the right time and because of it the Ravens are OUT!! Smh!
Yeah! I'm still pissed!!!
Me too, and I still think we're better than Pitt and we just blew but good teams don't blow it so we're actually not better I guess. Harsh reality
35 minutes ago, stampedehero said:Of all the RAVEN/Steelers games this one really hurt the most. The defense is the culprit for this loss. Jus did all he could to give us the win. If we look at the consistency of our team I sensed we would not get out of New England. Look out! The Chiefs look like the team of destiny.
No doubt it hurt, but 2008 and 2010 playoffs have it beat.
One game to potentially go to the Super Bowl with a rookie QB, rookie coach, elite D, dominant 3 man rush attack (Mcgahee, McLain, Rice) after knocking off the #1 seed Titans. They won earlier that year to win the division with a similar BS play with Holmes catching the game winner at the 1.
And then a rematch in 2010 with a much improved QB jumping out to a huge lead once again in Pitt after going 12-4, choking that lead away was brutal as the crowd gets back into the game and then AB kills us with the dagger beating Webb. Then the Webb punt return gets called back and Boldin drops a TD pass.
Housh drops a 4th down.
This one sucked no doubt but we were an edge team, we were elite those years and they blocked us.
