Marty should not return in any capacity. Joe has not develop since his been his QB coach and the offense stinks.

Yanda's response makes me believe no one, including himself, challenges the coaches on anything.

I hope so too, when's the likely timeframe of when we'll know?

Harbaughs been HC for 9 years 1 Division title the first job of head coach win your Division 1 in 9 not very good that's the bottom line

He won 2, 2011 and 2012, also went 12-4 in 2010. Not many coaches have 10 playoff wins, Marvin Lewis has more division titles is he better?

He should have rested and not held us back. I'm happy he wanted to fight through the injury but he hurt us more then helped us this season.

Yea this is always a funny dynamic in professional sports, a player has a down year than immediately after that year concludes it comes out that player was actually hurt and hindered way more than previously led on.

Doom and Sugggs disappear too much, still need to address it this off season.

Look at the way it sets up for the Steelers. If the Raiders retain the #2 seed, the path to the AFC title game for the AFC North champion involves beating Matt Moore at home and beating Matt McGloin on the road.

Not quite the murderers row of QBs we had to beat back in 2012 (Luck, Manning and Brady in three straight weeks)

From a normal years perspective I can't be too upset that we missed the playoffs because we made too many of the same mistakes all year and couldn't take it consistently to the next level; however, this breakdown really does bring more pain to missing out, very rarely will the road be that easy. And now the overrated Steelers get it, wow.

  4. Question, will Flacco ditch the knee brace next season?

Personally I hope he does, I think it was restrictive of mobility and velocity on certain throws. Next season should be better if we can get better on the line. Stanley looks promising

...but Julio and Calvin are the only reason Stafford and Ryan look good.

Brady is all scheme and Rodgers is a 'bum" without Nelson.  Payton made Brees.

Brady makes everyone better, he made Floyd break 7 tackles today for a passing TD and he made Edlemenn run 80 yards for another one.

The bottom line is that when you are the highest paid player on your team, you bear the most responsibility for the team. The fact the we haven't heard the "Elite" debate all year is because frankly there is no debate.

Flacco at his current cap hit is simply poor value. Expecting him to be Matt Ryan or Aaron Rogers is just setting ourselves up for disappointment. What we learned the last few years is that he cannot make that next step. He is, however, a solid, durable QB who can throw the long ball and plays well in games that matter.

I would say that I would rather have him at the QB position than 90% of the QB's in our league, but from a value standpoint, he is just not earning his keep. It almost seems as if we can structure his contract to one that is more performance based, it is likely he would play better. Coaching needs to ride him to get performance if that is what is needed in the regular season. I have seen these personality types before--make him prove himself and he will.

I'd like to see Matt Ryan without the best WR in the game first

Is Flacco an excuse maker these days? In the presser post game he says, "there were a lot of drops out there today" way to man up Joe

Good, it's about time he held his pass catchers responsible, he's been let down his whole career. Aiken stumbling over himself today cost us a TD.

Ugly season but on the bright side we've successfully ousted the west coast offense from B-more. We've avoided paying Williams too money and we've found our next RB, Slot CB and a potentially great  young LT.

The run D the last 5 weeks justifies a lesser contract for Williams and Jernigan, I agree, same with the pathetic interior and exterior pressure from everyone else.
