Yanda's response makes me believe no one, including himself, challenges the coaches on anything.
I hope so too, when's the likely timeframe of when we'll know?

He won 2, 2011 and 2012, also went 12-4 in 2010. Not many coaches have 10 playoff wins, Marvin Lewis has more division titles is he better?

Yea this is always a funny dynamic in professional sports, a player has a down year than immediately after that year concludes it comes out that player was actually hurt and hindered way more than previously led on.
Doom and Sugggs disappear too much, still need to address it this off season.

Not quite the murderers row of QBs we had to beat back in 2012 (Luck, Manning and Brady in three straight weeks)
From a normal years perspective I can't be too upset that we missed the playoffs because we made too many of the same mistakes all year and couldn't take it consistently to the next level; however, this breakdown really does bring more pain to missing out, very rarely will the road be that easy. And now the overrated Steelers get it, wow.
This game means nothing except that is was a microcosm and brutal demonstration of our season's defining flaws, we knew our needs and weaknesses coming in and this game didn't change any of that.
Get better on both lines.
Question, will Flacco ditch the knee brace next season?
Personally I hope he does, I think it was restrictive of mobility and velocity on certain throws. Next season should be better if we can get better on the line. Stanley looks promising

Brady is all scheme and Rodgers is a 'bum" without Nelson. Payton made Brees.
Brady makes everyone better, he made Floyd break 7 tackles today for a passing TD and he made Edlemenn run 80 yards for another one.

How fun

Flacco at his current cap hit is simply poor value. Expecting him to be Matt Ryan or Aaron Rogers is just setting ourselves up for disappointment. What we learned the last few years is that he cannot make that next step. He is, however, a solid, durable QB who can throw the long ball and plays well in games that matter.
I would say that I would rather have him at the QB position than 90% of the QB's in our league, but from a value standpoint, he is just not earning his keep. It almost seems as if we can structure his contract to one that is more performance based, it is likely he would play better. Coaching needs to ride him to get performance if that is what is needed in the regular season. I have seen these personality types before--make him prove himself and he will.
I'd like to see Matt Ryan without the best WR in the game first

Good, it's about time he held his pass catchers responsible, he's been let down his whole career. Aiken stumbling over himself today cost us a TD.
We were way too innefficient on offense this year, hard to watch.
Perriman is deadly in space, hopefully the new OC can utilize him better
Once again every Ravens Bengals game we make it easy for Dalton and hard on Flacco in terms of pass rush/pass pro and Coverage/WR separation, difference is night and day , been this way for 5 years now
Aiken stumbling and the refs cost Flacco 2 TDs and added a pick, typical

The run D the last 5 weeks justifies a lesser contract for Williams and Jernigan, I agree, same with the pathetic interior and exterior pressure from everyone else.
Wow Cleveland is a joke, funny to hear their delusional fans excited about Hue Jackson, I just don't see it

Please, go back and watch the 2005 season. Please.
He interjected his opinion on every subjec after every play
Mallet is better than Joe
Just now, redrum52 said:I know this game was meaningless, but I still think we might have lost this game even if we beat the Steelers last week.
Probably, run D has been terrible the last 5 weeks
Defense can sit down too
What a joke Burkhead ran all over us
Kind of a joke run D the last 5 weeks
2 minutes ago, Cillmatic said:Yes, he just has the best center in football along with a pretty good O-line AND Julio Jones, Senu and a good TE... Not many QB's have had careers as easy as Matt Ryan.
Dalton has
Would have been better if Perriman got the TD
That needs to stand

Marty and Dean stay, so continuity it is. We need to get better players to make up for the average to below average coordinators.
