DT is overrated and none of those other guys have a ring.  I dont think it's a coincidence.  Name the last top 5 wr to win a SB.  The teams that usually make it are balanced or have an excellent defense.  Teams that have won recently have something in common though.  Pass rush and secondary depth, with a balanced enough approach on offense ... JS.

Agree, I really want to see what 2014 would have been if we had a healthy secondary, hurts more and more as we move through time

its different in the sense that outside of morals, the cowboys werent tied to romo because of his contract - we literally cant get rid of joe until 2019 without losing money on the cap (not just loads of dead money - like actual losses) - so even if we were to have a dak come in we wouldnt be able to shop joe until 2019 and more likely 2020 when the dead money is slightly less

i know he and joe are always compared but I really like matt ryan as a qb and dont get your animosity towards him - he's never called out joe or anything and he's had an historic year where he's actually been joyful to watch - one of the bright spots in a truly mediocre nfl season

i think the best proof of how well matt ryan has played is when tevin coleman and julio jones were both out this season and he still lit it up (now I know it was only a couple of games in julio's case and a few more than that in coleman's but it's still a pretty good indicator) - when a guy makes aldrick robinson look like a viable nfl receiver you know he's lighting it up - he hands down should be the mvp this season and he deserves it - it's always been a misnoma that a qb has to be amazing without weapons - who was the last mvp who didnt have weapons of some sort?

I don't have a vendetta against him personally, I'm jealous of these factors:

    1. Surrounded by superior talent his whole career, namely one of the best TEs of all time and a top 3 WR, arguably #1

    2. Dome 9x a year

    3. Easier division especially defensively, look at Flacco's career vs the NFC South and Ryan's against the AFC North

    4. He is fortunate to have 1 playoff win if Carroll didn't ice the kicker

    5. Hearing their fans say Flacco only won because of Boldin never mind the ridiculous catches Jones makes

Rather have Ryan win over Rodgers, Brady or Ben though.

Id like to see our offenses if they tlol Trestmann and we took Shanahan

Yea, another thing is that some people forget (or ignore) that the cap increases each year.  So signing Joe now is obviously better than waiting for when the average market value goes up in 3 years, instead of 22ish it will be around 25ish im sure.

Bringing in Mack who I really wanted I think helped a lot, that being said Ryan took a huge leap.  The whole comparison stat wise between Joe and Ryan never made sense because of the system usage, but as of now, I don't think theres a question who has had a better career.

I really hope Ryan plays awful this weekend, it will be a nice consolation prize in this horrible season. Also hope Ben will play bad, but that's a given for him in the playoffs, he'll throw more picks than TDs and end up with a plus 100 qbr because Antonio Brown got him insane YAC.

Get rid of Pitta. I have a lot of respect for him as a player and he was a big part of our superbowl run. But let's face it, he is not getting any younger, stronger or faster. To make matters worse, Flacco consistently looks for him and neglects open receivers. The only reason Pitta's numbers look impressive this year is because he got targeted a lot more times.
We have drafted 3 TE and if you add Juice to the mix we potentially have 4 who can start at that position. It's high time we start developing younger talent (bar Sizzle, that dude is a stud)

I'd like to see them have Pitta and Maxx Williams on the field in 2 TE sets, or Boyle, hell Waller

well, I don't think he is coaching any team in NFL right now; he does helped Joe playing top of his game but there was something going on that year which got him fired.....

I think Rick Dennison is the perfect fit as QB coach cuz he is with Kubiak for so many years, running West Coast offense with zone blocking O-line.  He knows Kubiak's offense inside out and Marty is also running the same kind of offense...

Dennison could be up for a HC position though.

Backing up a bit, can someone explain to me how Ben ended up with a 105 rating for that game?  He completed 13 passes to his guys and two to the Dolphins.  Almost all of his "yardage" was YAC by Brown.

I hate it sometimes, man that irritates me. But 70% completion and 10 YPA is why I guess.

This is what happens when the Ravens don't take care of their own business and play like scrubs.

They don't make the playoffs and we...their fans....have to watch this foolishness from the Dolphins.  SMH!!!

Would of loved some more Miami at home

Seattle always seems to get weird calls/non-calls from refs going back to their first super bowl against the Steelers.

Worst officiated game of all time, the head ref Marv Levy even came out and said 5 years later it was his biggest career regret, 'We blew calls that directly influenced the outcome of the game'
