Yea it would be nice for the Ravens to win the AFC North and get a home playoff game, but I'd be happy for them just to get into the playoffs. This team is coming together and I really don't think there is anyone in the AFC who would want to play them come January if they stay healthy. 

The way things are going it looks like we could be in for a Steelers Vs Ravens round 3 this year in the wildcard round.

Will Bellichick have to resort to halfback options passes and non-eligible receivers to beat us again? At least the non-eligible receiver rule got changed. (probably the same will happen to holding on game ending safeties).

With no Gronk and this D it wouldn't surprise me if they take the field with 9 guys then have two a guards come on after the snap 50 yards downfield to catch a pass thrown by the center. Probably get away with it too.

Why does it always seem the Ravens have to go to NE to play MNF or a prime time game? Oh well let's just hope Suggs and Brady get to know each other a little better Monday night.

My Five Thoughts

1. This D is the best in the NFL.
2. Breshad Perriman can fly. He is starting to show what Ozzie saw in him.
3.O-Line did a great job in pass protection all game.
4.Everyone was making playes.
5.Didn't run much but when they did it looked okay. (5.5 yards a carry on 20 carries and a TD.)

I think the Steelers are sleeping on the Giants. Everyone is back on the Steelers bandwagon after they beat the Colts but I don't think they can stop OBJ.

Don't be to quick to thow the Ravens a loss in NE. They already have a nasty D and getting Dumervil back is going to help the pass rush a great deal.

I think its awesome that the NFL does games overseas. I moved to Australia and went to the Cal vs Hawaii game this year in Sydney and it was a great time for me. It seemed like most peope were there just to see what it was all about and there wasn't much excitment in the stadium after kickoff. But that could be beacause at halftime they ran out of beer and food except sushi...

If Tucker can do this for his eniter carrer does he have a chance at the Hall of Fame? I know he will not be bale to make these long ones late in his carrer at the rate is now but I think he has a legit chance at the Hall if he does have a long carrer.

Take 7 minitues a drive and get the 40 yard line and let Tucker do his thing. Anything past the 40 is just a bonus plus extra time off the clock.

If Jimmy Smith doesn't play the Ravens need to pound the rock. Don't let the Bengals have too many chances to take advantage of Smith being out.

I have been saying this for a few weeks now. No the Ravens are not a great team right now but do you think a wildcard team with 10 or 11 wins would want to come to Baltimore?

Desmond King from Iowa could be just what the Ravens need to put opposite Jimmy Smith.

Social media has been blowing up saying Flacco needs to go. What these 'fans' don't get is that there is no one out there right now worth trading a Super Bowl MVP & Champion for. You think that the Browns, Bears, 49ers wouldn't be lining up at the door if Ozzie put Flacco on the trade block?  Sure they could take draft picks for him but come on people. The Cowboys are breaking the laws of the NFL with Prescott being as good as he is right now. Look at the Browns they haven't been able to find a QB for what seems like 20 years and they always draft in the top 10. 

My Five Thoughts

1. Jimmy Smith holds the DB group together.

2. Dumb penalties really hurt the Ravens in the second half.

3. Falling behind killed the run game.

4. Need someone other then Smith and Wallace to step up at WR

5. Can't put this one on Flacco.

Young & Moore are gonna turning out to be solid picks.

Sitting her watching Tampa Bay take shots down the field with Winston. Hopefully we will be seeing some those this weekend!

So heres one positive to look at form the first 5 games. When Stanley plays the Ravens don't lose. Not saying he is the missing piece to this offensive puzzle but we can only hope that all this dink and dunk stuff is because the coaching staff doesn't trust anyone else to protect Joe's blind side.

Have to feel bad for this guy. He has done everything correct since he has been a Raven. You don't hear about him getting into trouble he has just run into some bad luck the past 2 seasons.

Richardsons chances of making the team were slim now they are probably none.Hopefully Kaufausi and Dixon can recover and are not injury prone. Dixon can be a star in this league.

I think Dixon will be the starter for Ravens at some point this year. If the running game can't get going I look for the coaching staff to make changes early in the season.

If Campanaro is released, traded, or whatever by the Raven he will probably end up going somewhere, staying healthy and be the next Wes Welker. That's just the luck the Ravens have had recently. Hope he does stay healthy because we saw what he can do last year when he played.

The Ravens didn't need to draft many players that can step in and play right away! They have starters in place and if they are healthy they will be fine. The problem is when they aren't healthy there is no depth behind them. These last two picks are perfect for what they are trying to do. Ride Suggs and the older players out until they are done and then have the young guns waiting to step in and take over.

Again, the last solid draft we had was in 2008. And even that year we took Ed Dickson in the 3rd with Gronk still on the board ! It is seriously time for Steve to revamp that FO.. Hand the keys to DeCosta and let him revamp that scouting team..

Then how many other owners need to revamp the scouting team and hand the keys over to a new GM. Because I'm sure everyone who drafted and didn't take Gronk feels the same way.

Football games are still won and lost in the trenches. This is not the sexy playmaker that most fans wanted but in the end its the best pick for this team. Now they will find the playmakers in the later rounds.
