I think we are starting to see what might happen in the draft. The o-line has not been addresed in FA and I don't think it will be before the draft. Ozzie will take the best player left and I think its going to be Cam Robinson.
I will always remember Webb because I was at the draft when the Ravens picked him. I hope he comes back and retires a Raven one day. He is a guy who was always putting the team first.
I'm sure Flacco said he would pay the difference in the pay cut to keep him. Whatever the case I'm happy he will be back!
Great!
There hasn't been much info on what the organization is trying to do with Arrington. It wouldn't surprise me if Webb restructures and stay to provide depth at safety and CB.
Yea I see Webb sticking around. I don't know how much intrest he would get from other teams. I mean I'm sure the Browns would pay him like 20 mil a year.
Torrey Smith was just released. What do you guys think about signing him and releasing Wallace. By the sounds of it we could get Smith for half the cost of Wallace and then we can use that extra cap room for other needs. Maybe use those extra millions or get Garcon or Marshall. Torrey has the same skill set at Wallace so i would not be apposed to it.
I don't hate the thought of Torrey Smith back in Baltimore but I hate the thought of Wallace being somewhere else. Why not bring Smith in and keep Wallace if he comes cheap? Then draft a guy like Cooper Kupp or Chad Hansen to be they sure handed guy.
Let me walk. They can probably draft a guy in the 6th round who would be better and cheaper.
manziel time baby!! hehehehe
The ulitmate nightmare for a Ravens fan. Manziel signs with the team and then they get picked up for Hard Knocks.
Man, we have got to let joe go, resign him for 1/2, or less , than what he makes, we need to keep what good players we have, sad state of affairs signing him to that sb contract, should have waited a few years, would have gotten him real cheap, maybe another cousins, ha ha ha
If you cut Flacco, he'll have a new job in about 10 seconds.
And not in Baltimore.
Browns, Bills, Bears, and a few others would give him everything they had. People don't understand that the Ravens could be searching for a QB for the next 5 years if he goes.
I hope he doesn't leave. I know he's not a flash player that everyone will say is a great signing but teams need players like this. He understands he is not going to be the next great d-back in Ravens history but he works hard on special teams and steps in when needed and stays out of trouble off the football field.
Sure the Steelers gave Brown all that money but did they forget that their QB is talking about retirement and they don't have anyone on the team that can get the job done? Now everyone knows Ben isn't going to retire this year but he is not playing until 2021 with Brown.
He's going to walk but I would not hate if he stayed. With Smith Sr. gone he will have a chance again to show that he can be the guy the Ravens need on 3rd down. Don't forget that Waller was drafted as a WR and with so many TE's on this team I could see the coach’s possibly moving him back the WR to fill a hole if they don't find someone in FA or the draft they are happy with.
I don't see the point in cutting both Lewis & Webb. If this happens The Ravens open a bigger hole at safety than there already is. By keeping one of these guys then at least you have a back-up who has some play making ability if they guy they bring in is a bust.
With so many TE's on the team I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't re-sign and the Raven just move whoever they feel is the 3rd or 4th TE to the FB spot. They could also end up taking a big blocking FB late in the draft.
Harbs went to that school up north and is why I feel he isn't getting OSU Buckeyes or not too many from Ohio except John Simon whom is gone I understand and Juice! The squeelers are doing it though Big Ben LaVeon Bell James Harrison all from Ohio Cameron Hayward Ryan Schazier hope I spelled it correctly OSU Buckeyes! Bellichick got Julian Edelman Kent state close to me and where Juice from! Dallas got Big Zeke smh do I need to keep on going because I can!
Are you talking about John Harbaugh? Because I think he went to Miami Ohio....
While I would love for Williams and Wagner to both stay its not worth throwing more and more money their way if they don't want to be a Raven. I look at players like Suggs who want to retire Ravens and worked with the FO to make it work for both himself and the team. Those are the players I want to see on this team.
Run defense will probably be worse without B Williams (pass rush won't though, Pierce is more effective there), but we were one of the very best in the league at that. The offense was pathetic and now you're going to let go one of the best RT's go? Sure Lewis could replace him, but it'd be a downgrade. And then LG would turn into a downgrade as well. It's a thin OL draft and FA class (especially at OT) and most teams are desperate for OL right now. All of a sudden the offense looks even worse and there's even less help for Flacco. I don't understand how a run stuffing DT could take precedence over one of the best pass blocking OT's in the league, especially when you have good, young and cheap depth at DT and little depth at all on the OL.
I have felt the same way about this. I think Pierce can step in and be very productive and I bet that Ozzie drafts a DT in the late rounds. I would love to see Williams back next year but not at the expense of letting Wagner just walk without even trying to keep him.
Size will be the reason a lot of teams pass on him. But you gotta like that he loves the game so much and worked hard to get a scholarship from Temple. That is the kind of attidude that would be great to have in the Ravens locker room.
I don't think Garcon even wants to leave the Redskins. Throwing a a couple mil his way could change things but I would LOVE to see the Ravens be able to draft a WR and turn him into a stud. The jurry is still out on Perriman. We know he is soild and can make plays but it would be nice to see him become a number one or solid number two WR this year.
Mike Wallace, Breshad Perriman and Chris Moore. All three of those targets can stretch the field? Just when did that happen in 2016? Which game?
We have to face the fact that Ozzie can't pick Wr's. Bolden was great, Smith OK, but a trade/free agent.
Go with the TE from Ala., Howard and cut two of the others, even Pitta. He's due for another break down.
Get O Linemen, 2 CB's, LB and a RB. If the line can hold for another 2-3 seconds maybe "old 3 and out Flacco" could actually find a receiver. Then a good RB can help control the clock. Everyone knows how poor the DB's are.
Hard to stretch the filed when you give up on the run in games. Thats why I think we didn't see it. Other teams DC would probaly say they threw it 12 times in a row lets drop the FS and SS.
I'm starting to like the idea of Howard more and more. Flacco loves to use his TE and this guy looks like he could be a monster.

Agree. Hate to say it but I think Pitta is going to be playing somewhere else next season.
Chad Hansen in late round. How does everyone feel about that?
Whatever they say they will or might do will be the complete opposite on draft day...proven science
If the Best Player Available at #16 is a TE, do we take him. This is a test....
If it is OJ Howard I think Ozzie would have the pick in under 30 seconds.
Don't see any backs being taken in the draft by the Ravens. They seem happy with West and Dixon. I still think Lorenzo Taliaferro could be a monster, and Allen can help out with special teams and step in when needed.
I will always wonder what Paul Kruger was thinking when we walked away from the Ravens to go to the Browns. Sure he got paid but he got paid to be apart of a franchise that falls apart each year. If I'm Ozzie I just point that out. You can get paid or you can get paid and play here where every year you have a chance to win it all.
